Just finished up dinner here and not very pleased. First of all we ordered soup and salad I ordered my soup about five min after we originally placed our order and still got neither no soup or salad. Second I ordered the chicken caccitore it comes with pasta and I asked for no marinara and low and behold I got marinara. Also the chef just squeezed the lemon on the plate seeds and all so that was fun picking out all the seeds. The food was decent(maybe a 2*) my gf got the Rocco’s pasta and said it was not very hot. As we were sitting there the waitress(Gloria also our waitress) seated a family at a table that was filthy dirty as another couple had just finished eating there. Granted there was about 12 other tables empty, it just blew my mind so they stood and waited as she cleaned the table. Well after it was said and done I got a free coke holy smokes I felt like I won the lottery! So moral of the story the food is edible but the service really sucks!!! Side note: I don’t usually do reviews good or bad. I normally only use this to find places to eat and read the reviews but this had to be shared

Don’t waste your time for take out. They NEVER get your order correct… something as small as a soup or a side of meatballs is usually missing.

Don’t know about all the disappointment from other reviewers? I’ve been here about 6 times since it’s opened because it’s in my neighborhood. I’m not the type of person who would keep going back if I ever got bad service. In fact I always boycott companies who’s policy’s I find abhorrent, like Shell & Walmart! I love this restaurant, manager is always kind and gracious and the food is always above par. I’ve found the staff knowledgeable and hard working. I haven’t given 5 stars as I’m quite picky with my food and I only give 5 stars to restaurants who’s food is outstanding. Like I said the food is above par but not outstanding.

Horrible customer service. Very rude guy went in for pickup and forgot my coupon, said I’ll be back and got a disgusted stare down. He tried/wanted to charge me nearly 20 bucks for a one topping smh. Go to Fresno if you want Diciccos.

My husband and I have decided to give up on this location. The service is practically nonexistent, the food is not well prepared, and the host scowls to every person who walks in. Need a drink refill? Good luck. Want the salad you ordered and paid extra for? Won’t be delivered(but you will be charged for it). Ask for more bread? Nope, not going to happen. In fact, usually there are no employees available at all;they are too busy hiding and gossiping in the back(where they think they can’t be heard). As other reviews stated, the food tastes like something you’d get at Costco and warmed up, then put in a plate and drowned in a runny red sauce. Not appealing at all. The host? He is a middle aged man who does not appear to be welcoming anyone to the establishment. That makes for an uncomfortable dining experience. Stick with the DiCicco’s in Fresno on Kings Canyon. Much better service, food & a higher quality of customer service.

I’ve given this location two chances. My first experience I got ravioli, bread, and a side salad. My husband got a calazone. He said the calazone was really good. The packing was awful, red sauce all over the inside of the bag. The calazone was on top of the ravioli and had smashed the packaging in. There were maybe 10 ravioli in an ocean of red sauce, it wasn’t very good but not horrible just tasted like ones you buy frozen from the store. My second experience is what made me write this review. I got the chicken piccata and minestrone soup. I can’t have cheese or red sauce and in the description it did not mention either. When I called to order I even double checked if there was cheese or red sauce and they said no. My husband got the calazone again with no mushrooms. Again, packaging was awful sauce everywhere. I opened mine and there was red sauce on my penne pasta! I was frustrated, the chicken and veggies were decent. Had I known I would have just asked for no red sauce! Minestrone soup tasted like cabbage soup. My husbands calazone had extra mushrooms in it, a ton with every bite. I’m done giving this place a chance, I do not recommend it.

Nice quiet place for lunch on a Saturday with my husband. My husband even had gluten free options! They have gluten free pizza(small or med) as well as gluten free spaghetti you can substitute for pasta in any of the meals. Thank you James for a wonderful lunch meal service!

This is an excellent choice for Italian food when you don’t want to leave town. The half-and-half is a great combo– add a salad and you’re set. Both the meat and cheese raviolis are delicious. Can’t go wrong with either choice. Salads are fresh and feature cheese and salami toppings. The service is great and has vastly improved since they opened. If you haven’t been here in awhile I suggest trying them again! They don’t disappoint.

And we’re anxious to try to Dicciccos which we generally like in Fresno. But we were fairly disappointed. Just not up to par with the Dicciccos we’ve been in Fresno. Sorry to say because it’s so close and handy.

Upon arrival my family and I were not greeted or given any attention to the fact that we had just walked in. We had begin to sit down and were greeted by a man(our waiter) with lack of enthusiasm and energy. Upon bringing our drinks, he not only spilled the drink all over the menu and the table, but did not offer to clean it up or bring any napkins so we could do so ourself. Throughout our dinner we were offered bread numerous times. Yet every time it was like the waiters were dreading coming to our table, dragging their feet asking in the monotone voice«do you want anymore bread?» Finally our food arrived to the table. I ordered the«half and half» and got half ravioli/lasagna which was drenched in a tomato sauce that tasted like you could’ve gotten it from the CVS right next store out of a Prego jar. The sauce was watery, the ravioli noodles were tough and tastes more like over-cooked noodles more than anything. The lasagna wasn’t bad, besides the watery«sauce». My father received a «Combination Calzone» which is supposed to come with meat and pepperoni but lacked both of those when cut open. Yet all the waiter could say was«I’m sorry» instead of immediately fixing the problem. Overall, the food was drenched in sauce and called Italian. The service was extremely poor and our waiter could not answer the question we had about a certain pasta because he «never tried it before.» Suggestion: if in the area, just find another place. Small town, but this restaurant could definitely use an update.

Well I was hesitant because the one by my house is terrible but I was very pleased with my pizza today. The place was empty for lunch unfortunately because this place is worth coming to. Nevertheless I had a small veggie pizza(Olives, onions, bell peppers and tomatoes). The pizza dough was baked very well. Nice and crispy and evenly cooked. From what I understand there are different owners for the restaurants and when I asked for a pizza box I noticed the blackstone and Oakhurst locations on it, so maybe those are the ones to go to? Happy eating!

So I have tried to give this restaurant many chances ! I order the same thing every time and they screw it almost everytime how can you screw up a calzone they can! the Manager doesn’t care about anything he never trains his staff to provide great food or service. There are some great people who work there but the crew need to be trained correctly how to cook. The helpers who bring bread have no personality just threw the bread on the table and will not ask your if you need drinks zack is a great waiter but I haven’t seen him lately I hope he moved on to a much better restaurant. Hope fully you food is not raw or burnt like mine has been several times. So good luck if you want good food try the Sanger diciccios there always great I tried to keep my money local but now Sanger will get my $ 50.00 weekly

The best choice for Italian food in Kingsburg is here. I have been here with my husband, with my girlfriends, and with my girlfriends a a few of our kids and about 80% of the time I’ve had good service. I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a table and our beverage order is always taken right away. Food: I will definitely say that their red sauce is terrible. No flavor whatsoever. It tastes like watered down tomato paste. I never order any pasta with red sauce, well, because it’s disgusting. I order the Michelle’s Pasta, which is a rich creamy pesto sauce, terribly fattening I’m sure. I never usually order any pasta with chicken because the chicken is usually terrible but this chicken is charbroiled and has a delicious charbroiled flavor and obvious grill marks. The calzone is good. A basic good. Nothing fancy. A small cheese pizza, ordered for a 3 year old and two 5 year olds, was devoured. I tried a slice and liked the saltiness of the cheese. Although not comparable to the other DiCicco restaurants’ reputations, this one certainly deserves to build its own(kinda like having older siblings and by the time the youngest sibling gets to High School it’s like«Oh! You’re Bobby’s little sister…» Yes, it’s like that). Side note: I usually go during lunch time, when it’s calm and have gone once in the evening when it was bustling.

Good service, good pizza. There was quite a crowd but we were seated fairly quickly in a comfortable half booth. Not very noisy & nicely decorated. Had the Special pizza. Pretty good!

Went to dicicco’s in kinsgburg today terrible service waited thirty minutes to just get our salad. We left after being there a hour and thirty minutes with still no food. Terrible to make your customers wait that long I would not recommend going to this restaurant ever. We will not be back!!! So sad because we were excited to have a dicicco’s close by

We were very excited when we found out that Diccicos was coming to Kingsburg but after a few visits that excitement quickly faded. The first time we went the Calzones were not very good. I got the meat calzone and instead of the meat being distributed throughout there was a big pocket of what looked like ground beef on one side of the calzone. Also there is something very bitter in the salad im not sure if its the lettuce or the dressing but every time we go it has the same taste so I have stopped getting the salad. Also a different time we went someone in our dinner party got the Don and the chicken parmesan looked practically black. I believe they are tied to the Blackstone and Shaw and Oakhurst restaurants and those are good almost every time so I am not sure what happened with this location.

Well I was very happy when I saw DiCiccos was coming to kingsburg. However I’ve been here twice since it opened & both times were disappointing. The bread is ok but everything after that was not appealing. Their side salad is just a big pile of lettuce with a couple slivers of salami & provolone on top. Not great but ok. The pasta dishes are extremely watery! I don’t understand how their cook can send that out of the kitchen! You can refer to my photo as to how watery it Was. Their homemade tomato sauce they use on their pasta dishes taste like they just opened a can of crushed tomatoes & dumped it on the pasta. We’ve tried 4 different dishes and all were bland & watery. Will not return.
