It’s a great place to shop locally. The store is always clean and in order(can’t say that about another«mart» store that’s in Selma– I hate that place). I can always find what I need and I LOVE that most of their store brand products are MADEINUSA. Staff is usually helpful and know their inventory in the store and where to locate it. The reason I only selected 4 stars is for the fact there are some employees that run registers that are slooooowww. But hey, not every store can be perfect. And every place is gonna have«those» employees. Would recommend to anyone I know to shop here instead of that horrible Mart store in Selma. I can always tell when the neighboring towns ppl shop in Kingsburg, there are shopping carts left all over the parking lot. Stop being lazy ppl and just take it to the cart return!

Doesn’t appeal to me but it does have different items than other competitors. Shopping at K-mart is not my cup of tea metaphorically speaking and I prefer Wal-Mart before anything and if Wally World is better than you than you have major problems. Is not really the worst but it can be better and chances are it would never be as it was years ago but it does have certain items for sale and it does have tall size clothing in which I prefer so is not a total loss in the run. I remember as a kid I use to love the Little Caesars single slices and when I come here I reminisce a little and order me a slice with a Icee slushy, nostalgia it sure is crazy sometimes. I rate this place 2.0

This store is terrible! The store manager is rude and does not accommodate customers well at all. Pharmacy however is wonderful!

I like this Kmart. I live in Fresno and stop here whenever we are driving through the area. Fresno has no kmarts left except for the one in Clovis, but this one is far better. Friendlier employees and they still have a pharmacy and a k café/little Caesars. Yes the store could use a little work but it’s functional. It’s a kmart not a target, so this is a pretty good store as far as Kmart goes. Minus one star because the registers are a bit odd. They always have a problem with my shop your way number and sometimes long lines.

Dark and dingey… I don’t know how they keep the lights on in this place. Kmart is slowly dying that’s for sure. This one never has enough checkouts open and the prices are about 25% higher than Walmart or Target.

Sort of makes me sad to go in there. Not sure why.

I was in a real pickle last night(August 29th2013) I was driving from Los Angeles to Novato and misplaced my lock and key for the Uhaul I had rented. I purchased a new lock and key at around 9:30pm and went to the parking lot to install. I couldn’t get it to fit so I went back to the store to exchange the lock for a different one. The employee at the door would not let me in, even though I explained I had just purchased a lock. I looked at my cell phone and it was only 9:52pm. I tried to convince them to let me in and they said I should go to try to buy a lock at a truck stop. Awful customer service and they clearly cannot tell time.

I don’t know when Kmart when so downhill. Not just this one, all of them. This one seems especially bad. It just always seems dirty, or they’re out of stuff, or you can’t find someone to help you, or the checkout line is 10 people deep because only one register is open. And like I’ve said in other reviews, I shop after most people get off work, when it’s busiest, and they still don’t have enough registers open. And their prices have gotten outrageously high, especially considering it’s Kmart! I’ll drive 5 miles north and hit the Walmart in Selma.(Yes I’m complimenting Walmart again. I might have a fever.) So here’s a quick story. I always have to share a story. Last summer, I wanted to get some sun and get rid of my ghastly whiteness. Our yard is full of ants. So, I needed one of those folding chairs that you lay on. I thought, Kmart will surely have one! I found the last one on clearance(you need to start shopping for them in February, apparently) and took it to get a price check. On clearance, it was still $ 19! I went to Walmart and got one for $ 10. It kept me safe from the ants. Moral of the story, go to Walmart. And don’t shop for summer stuff in July.
