I stayed here on my trip home from New York. It wasn’t cheap, over $ 100 so I expected something a bit nicer than what I experienced. Even though I reserved a non-smoking room I could still smell smoke from the rooms down the hall. The odor in the hallway was almost nauseating, a combination of smoke and mildew. Luckily I had a can of Lysol spray with me to improve the smell in my room. I found a dead bed bug between the mattress pad and the mattress but didn’t find evidence of any live bugs. They have zipper covers on both the mattress and box springs which most likely is because they have had problems with bed bugs in the past or it’s their attempt to prevent an infestation. The woman at the front desk was nice and helpful. She apologized for the smoke smells but did not offer to move me to another room further from the smoking rooms. I will not stay at a Sleep Inn again because of the smoke and bed bug find :(

I stayed here for 2 nights with my brother while we were visiting family in the area. It was a very convenient location off of 81 and located near a Cracker Barrel and a few other little food places and hotels. The hotel had recently been renovated and that was obvious upon entering the lobby. The staff at the desk upon check in was friendly and directed us to our room on the third floor. The room smelled a little stale, but once we put on the air conditioning, the smell dissipated. The accommodations were nice and clean — nothing fancy, but certainly suitable for a 2 night stay. The bathroom was small with a toilet and stand in shower with little room for anything else(such as changing). The sink was outside of the bathroom. The room included a mini fridge and microwave. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were like little nuggets. They were very small, but, again, comfortable. The reason for the rating,(which I’d really like to give a 3.5) though, is because of some quirks within the room and hotel. For instance, when we shut off the main light in the room, it was flickering in the darkness. We had to unscrew the lightbulb to stop it. After showering, the sink outside the bathroom had no cold water; it was scalding. Also the fitness center, which only had 3 machines(a treadmill, elliptical, and bike) were not working at all. When the front desk was notified, they simply said they’d create a work ticket for the machines, and offered no apology for the inconvenience. As a final note, the breakfast was what you’d expect for a hotel and included a small array of hot and cold food choices. We would recommend the hotel, however if you’re looking to squeeze in a quick workout during your stay, you may want to look elsewhere.

Apparently this hotel has gone way down hill since those last reviews. We checked in and first impression was good, entry way clean. Nice friendly clerk checked us in, $ 76.00 for the night. The room was clean. My husband turned on the air conditioner. I opened the microwave to heat a snack. The inside was rusty and smelled strongly of someone else’s meal. The more I thought about it, I couldn’t understand why this Sleep Inn would have such an old smelly microwave. For the cost of my one night stay they could buy a new one for $ 49.00 and still have pocket money. Then during the night when I was trying to fall asleep the air conditioner kept making strange noises. I’d just be dozing off and it would kick off again with another annoying noise. My husband mentioned that the mattress was rather old and worn out. My opinion is that the owners of this Sleep Inn are more interested in their guest’s money rather then guest’s comfort. I would not recommend this hotel. I do have to say that breakfast was ready by 4:30 am. The hotel had an employee ready at all times to make sure everything was well stocked and appealing. There’s a sign outside announcing«Newly Renovated», That sign has been up for more then a YEAR!

This place was an amazing mid-road trip surprise. After a day in the car with 2 children, I just wanted a place to sleep that was inexpensive and clean. I’d never stayed in a Sleep Inn, but based on the previous review, I thought I’d try it. I didn’t expect much but the room was not only clean, it was comfortable and elegant. Everything looks new, the staff is friendly, the beds and pillows are perfect… my only complaint is that I have to get up early and get back on the road! I’ve stayed at much more expensive places that weren’t nearly as nice. I highly recommend this Sleep Inn.

We tried this hotel as our usual choice in Bristol was booked and was very pleasantly surprised. This is a new hotel that is very nicely appointed. Mini-Fridge and Microwave in each room, HDTV, nice desk and chair. Free breakfast. Set behind a small hill from the road so no road noise, but also still very close to the interchange. Plenty of parking. Accepts pets. To find a similar room at other brands would have cost an extra $ 30 a night, the rate here was very affordable for what we received. It will make me look for other sleep-inns while traveling. Highly recommend if you need to stay in this area.
