I visited today and had a half-pound burger with tater tots and it was very good. I had bacon and cheddar cheese on the burger. It was definitely a half-pound burger and cooked just about right and very well seasoned with spices. This is not a fast food place, and they aren’t just cooking frozen burgers, they make quality fresh burgers cooked on the grill after you order one. They also have something I did not try, a two pound burger (made of four 8 oz. burger patties) challenge where you get it for free if you eat the quad burger and fries in 9 minutes or less time. Definitely worth eating there again and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a good burger. I found it by typing «best burgers in Kingsport, TN» into Google.

Local diner with cheap eats and friendly staff. We were staying at a nearby hotel and decided to try it. I had the tuna melt and fried pickles, both were great but a salty combination. The tuna melt was served on Texas toast. My fiancé had the chicken parm sub which were two fried chicken breast topped with marinara sauce and cheese. He enjoyed it!
The city of Kingsport is small and most places are quick eateries, if you want a filling lunch or early dinner at a low prices, try Sloopy’s and they have ice cream and shakes too.

Not a single bad item on the menu. The burgers are the best in East Tennessee. Absolutely amazing burgers. Perfect sweet tea. Great fries and great onion rings. One of the best places to eat in Kingsport. Awesome staff too. Two thumbs up!

I saw another review that stated that Sloopy’s had the best burger in Kingsport. I have no other point of reference in Kingsport so I have to agree. Sloopy’s makes a very good cheeseburger. They offer two sizes of burger 5oz and 8oz. I went with the smaller burger and enjoyed every bite. They also had crinkle cut french fries, my favorite, and they seasoned them with a delicious seasoning blend. The building is fun and exciting. The colors are bold and the walls are adorned with classic advertising. I will definitely be back.
