made reservations for a day out for my wife and I as a surprise for her. We had a beautiful drive out to Kingston Springs (shorter than you’d think, just 15 or 20 minutes past Bellevue and right next to the state park). I was a bit concerned about the temperature, but not only did they have a warm drink for us, they had a wonderful campfire going to warm us before and after our zips. It turned out not to be a concern, as you are out of the wind for most of the ziplines. The guides were funny, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable, and soon enough all 5 couples in our timeslot were having a great time. The area is really gorgeous, so you have a great view while you zip. The gear was in great shape, the safety factor was high, and the fun level was tip-​top. My wife was apprehensive at first, but I didn’t see the smile leave her face after the first zipline. I would highly recommend this as a great way to spend an afternoon on a date, with your kids, or even a larger group of friends. They have a ropes course there that we didn’t try, but it looked fun. We are taking our college aged son when he comes home for spring break!

I sent my girlfriend and her family visiting from out of town to zip line with Adventure works. Upon arrival they were greeted by a very unpleasant character Cody, who told them that THEY DID NOT HAVE A RESERVATION, then proceeded to throw his phone, bouncing across the sign in counter in front of his 10 customers. Then went into the closet and continued to throw things around. They spoke with a lady with adventure works on the phone minutes before their arrival, who confirmed it would be not problem for them to come at 4:05
Cody then left in his truck. Fortunately the two other guides were very pleasant and finished the training with excellent service.
We spent over $ 500 at this establishment.

Spencer was our guide & was awesome! We got there about an hour before our reservation & they fit us in! We had a great time! It is more athletic than I thought but not too hard. I would make sure you bring bug spray, wear durable cool clothes (it rained while we were there), and next time I’d wear long shorts the harness actually kinda pinches. We’ll go again!

Michael was awesome!!! Funny, caring & a great coach. Request him (if you can) when you go for a top notch experience. Not to say that any other guides aren’t as good, I only worked with him & he was exceptional!
Overall, our group loved our experience. We did the high ropes course, quantum leap & swing. Each aspect was a great adventure & I can’t wait to go back again.
I didn’t get to do the zip lines this trip, but saw others doing it & plan to do that sometime, too!

Ok, so neither me nor my boyfriend have been zip lining before and I was nervous! I didn’t know how it was going to be! Well, it was great! One thing I did NOT like was the portapotties. You would think they would at least have some restrooms –actual ones. I hate those nasty stinky things. Gross. So anyways, our tour guide (forget his name) he was really good. He was young and funny. I really liked flying through the air fast! I was number one member of the Dirty Booty Club lol. I just couldn’t land right, so naturally, I drug through the dirty mulch. Oh! What made this an even MORE exciting time was the fact that it was raining hard the WHOLE time which I am so glad it did because we kept cooler and it was just that more of a rush! The scariest part of the whole thing (besides trying to land) was the slippery narrow logs we had to walk up in a net bridge going up to the tree house. My most favorite line was the double one so me and my bf could hold hands. If you’re nervous or scared, GO! It was fun and I think you’d really enjoy it :)

Great guides, small group and soooo much fun! I have never been before, it was my first time and I stayed clean!

This place rocked and I don’t quite agree with an earlier post about the rough landings. I am a 60 year old Mimi and could do it. Yes it did require some physical ability and strength; but I would not zip line if I couldn’t use my legs and feet to stop. The only thing I would recommend is the booking person in Nashville alittle more knowledgeable about lodging. Don’t stay in Kingston Springs those places looked scary; thank god we stayed at the Super 8 in Dickson even though it required a pleasant 17 mile drive there. Really fun, professionally done park. Great guides!

A quick phone call will get you booked, and the drive out there is really nice. Great lines, but our guide REALLY made the experience a whole lot of fun! Mike, you rock! Tour takes right between 1.5−2 hours depending on group size. They also have some other things to do there that I didn’t have enough time for that looked fun. Mike mentioned they do post specials from time to time on their facebook page, so check them out over there too!

SO MUCH FUN! We had never been zip lining before & we had a blast, but it left us wanting more & bigger & faster! I liked that the lines were all in wooded areas, so even though it was hot that day, it wasn’t bad in the woods. The facilities were kept up and everything was in good repair. There was a large (office) group ahead of us and they were preparing for a wedding later, so they ran a little later than our reservation time, but the wait wasn’t bad. The staff was very encouraging & super friendly. We’d definitely go again, maybe for the Halloween zip!

This place was amazing! We had a blast. We did all the activities offered. The staff was super friendly and supportive at every activity. If I ever go back to TN, this place will definitely be on my list of «To Do’s» again.

The facts that I have never been bitten by an irradiated arachnid nor am a Kryptonite expat have been two of the biggest regrets of my life. Because of my ordinary human constitution, I have been forced to make due with purely pedestrian modes of transportation, governed by the strict and often cruel mistress named Gravity.
Due to her draconian restrictions to terrestrial-​based travel, I have never been able to fulfill my lifelong dream of shedding my Clark Kent/​Peter Parker persona for the chance to don the metaphorical red and blue tights of personal flight.
However, thanks to my recent Adventureworks… er…adventure, I was able to overthrow Mistress G’s shackles and take to the air. Like a bird, or a plane, I would even dare say.
Being my first foray into the world of zip lining, I took some time to carefully review Adventureworks detailed and informative site, fastidiously pouring over the plethora of knowledge contained within. In other words, I looked them up online, saw the words «zip lining», grabbed their address and phone number, then excitedly proclaimed «Sa-​weet!» to nobody in particular.
Gave them a quick buzz, set up an appoint time with a guide for my buddy and I, then went to bed, eagerly dreaming of throwing of the weighty oppression that had plagued my transit for so long.
The next day, me arrived on location 15 minutes before our tour time, in order for a quick safety lesson, as well as to strap into a rather…“intense” harness, that left me wondering if I needed to establish a safety word first.
And then our adventure began, and once it did, our guide Chris emerged as the true superhero of the trip. As neophytes, my friend and I were clueless as to the intricacies of zip line based human flight. Chris, however, made us feel at ease, explaining everything in a clear and easy manner.
Now, as for the zip lining itself? Amazing in ways that would make even the Justice League envious. And since there was gratefully neither audio or video evidence captured of it, I am going to maintain my stance that no, in fact, I didn’t spread my arms and proclaim myself «king of the world» during one particularly titanic zip.
A word to the wise, however. When you decide to take your own airborne adventure, make sure to wear clothes that you don’t mind getting a bit messy. Inevitably, some of my landings were a bit more rear-​end based than I had hoped (a fact that was, unfortunate, preserved on video).
What can I say, though? Fighting gravitational crimes can be dirty work. But I’m happy to say that I would have made Superman proud. Or at least moderately bemused.

What a fun way to celebrate New Year’s Eve! It was a beautiful day and our group consisted of 11 people — two families and a couple (us). Ages ranged from 5 to 65+ (that would be us, too). It was such a great experience, zipping through the treetops, over ravines, and challenging my fear of heights. It was very safe and, although I did have to take a few deep breaths, I never felt that it was dangerous. The guide stays with you the entire time and, before each ride, checks your zipline before releasing you to fly through the air. We had a blast and are looking forward to doing it again.

OK… First of all, I have never done zip lining, so I don’t really have anything to compare it to.
I live in Nashville and this place is so close. I went on October 23, 2010, and the trees were changing, the leaves were falling and it was absolutely beautiful. The drive there is interesting as well with beautiful scenery in the last leg of the trip (give yourself some time to do some exploring).
The employees are friendly, informative, helpful, easy on the eyes (ha ha) and fun. I’m quite a character so I pretty much make anyone have fun.
They offer more than just zip lining… there’s an obstacle coarse (high in the trees that is), a «Quantum Leap» that sounds breathtaking… No, I don’t mean beautiful, I mean when you leap off a totem pole (that’s how ever many stories up) to ring a bell and you don’t land back on the pole, you’re going to lose some breath. There is only one way off that thing, and that’s down. There’s a big swing (No, I MEAN BIG). There’s a huge ladder up the trees (looks like something from the military, ha ha).
I went with several friends and plan to take my daughter back with me next time. I think this was the perfect place to go for beginners. There were young children, so it’s obviously not that scary.
I would like to zip line in Costa Rica, Hawaii, and California as Patrick S. mentioned… As a matter of fact, I brought that up while I was at the Kingston Springs Adventureworks.

This goes out to all my adrenaline junkies in the house! Adventureworks offers a canopy zip line tour and also corporate team building services. I’ve only done the eco-​adventure zip line and it was great. Now this of course doesn’t compare to the zip lines in Costa Rica, Hawaii, or California but it certainly makes for a great day trip at less then an hour drive from Nashville.
They have 9 zip lines total and it will take you about 90 minutes to complete. They vary in length and height: up to 450 feet long, and about 85 feet high. Remember closed-​toed shoes are a must; no flip-​flops. :) Another cool thing is sometimes they provide Smores and refreshments at the end of the tour. And last but not least, I recommend packing a lunch and taking a hike to the Narrows of the Harpeth since you’re already in the area. If your not sure how to get there you can ask any of the very friendly peeps at Adventureworks. Happy Ziplining!

Craving adventure, but don’t have the money or time to travel far from Middle Tennessee? Drive 45 minutes southwest of Nashville, weave back through the woods and climb up the hill from the river. There you’ll find 10 ziplines strung through the thick wooded hills just waiting for you to come fly.
I thought Adventureworks was going to be cheesy, over-​rated –another rip-​off tourist attraction. It completely exceeded my expectations. It’s clean, organized and safe. Our guide Adam may have been young and thin, but he outfitted us with helmets and harnesses and prepared us for what to expect before each line. His confidence rubbed off on us. It also helped that the first two lines are the easiest. By the third line, you’re climbing platforms and jumping off backwards or forwards with no hands and legs spread wide. Weeee!!!
Figure about 15 minutes of orientation and 75 minutes of actual zipline fun. The longest line is 1,000 feet and the highest you’re ever off the ground is 85 feet.
If you weigh less than 275 pounds and can walk two flights of stairs, you can do it. Which makes it a fun outing for anyone (12 and older) to enjoy.
Check their times and book ahead. Rates are reasonable. We paid $ 50 per person.
