I needed a strapless bridesmaid gown taken in a full size. I took it to Liza just a week before the wedding and she did a fantastic job on it! I would definitely go back to her, and I’ve already recommended her to my mother-​in-​law who needs gowns altered for an annual ball.
The shop is a tiny little store front on a residential street and there’s not a lot of room to wait, so I would not recommend taking your whole wedding party for a fitting. But I don’t think you’ll find a nicer person to work with than Liza. When I brought my dress in, she was working patiently with an elderly woman who brought a pile of pants to have hemmed. She made quick but expert work on pinning the pants, then fit my dress before moving on to a bride’s gown and another woman’s cocktail dress. I’m guessing Saturdays are usually a busy day for her, but the wait wasn’t super long, even with all the work, and the atmosphere was comfortable.
When I picked up my dress, Liza had it ready as promised and it fit perfectly when I tried it on. The alterations were VERY reasonable, and the work is great. I’d definitely take anything I needed altered to her.
