Gary came by on VERY short notice with his son and did great work quickly. Reasonably priced too. Big bonus: Gary’s a super nice guy. Would recommend!

Yes, this is an actual locksmith review! It CAN happen!
I started using Brinks when my former locksmith became ill and referred his customers to Gary at Brinks Lock.
Periodically through the years I’ve owned my home I’ve needed to re-​key my locks due to bad roommates. Also, my original «came with the house» locks have failed me at various times. Plus being a landlord I’ve also had to handle the tenants lock issues.
All told, I’ve probably had Gary out on average once every other year, so about 5 visits. He is always professional, prompt, courteous and not exorbitantly costly. Yeah, there are other things I’d prefer to spend $ 90 on, but if you can’t lock up your house, you may have other problems.
Plus he understands why I keep buying cheap Home Depot locks: I really don’t want to make more holes in my door. Having said that, I was a bit unhappy not to have been consulted when the tenants front lock failed & it was determined that there way no fix for it. I wasn’t upset that it couldn’t be fixed but because this huge new hole was drilled to install a ginormous deadbolt. But that is more my tenant not checking with me first. Apparently she just let him do it so I can’t blame him for that one.
