This burger king is absolutely dripping with utter despair. There has been a meeting held at this Burger King for many years, a meeting of the down trodden and broken. It’s like a funeral home with Cheeseburgers — The TV is always tuned to HLN(That’s the home living Network) something that should signify immediately that they have given up all hope. I’m a bit of a liberal and I’m not saying you need to have MSNBC on, but I’d rather Fox News be broadcast than HLN. The choice of TV station sums up every experience I’ve ever had here(Why does this exist — what is Home Living? Why does it have a network? Why is everyone so sad at this Burger King?) Burger King might have a chance at being the best on the Kingston strip of Wyoming Ave, seeing how it only stands in the shadow of a mediocre McDonalds and a sub-par Wendy’s. One time I was at this Burger King location with my fat roommate who wears the robe, and he and I seriously wondered aloud if the cashier was going to be able to muster the strength to walk the few steps to the register and take our order. I don’t think I’ll ever see someone with that little energy again. The sighs as she eventually put Onion Rings into container made me feel as though, maybe I shouldn’t be here — maybe she isn’t someone who should be bothered. It took her so long to move about the restaurant assembling our orders, my girlfriend actually called me and asked if I was okay? Then just the other night, the same sort of person took my order through the drive-thru, it was as though they were straining just to open their mouths and say Welcome to Burger King. My brother and fat roommate who wears the robe were aghast when the woman became slightly angered when I didn’t specify which chicken sandwich I wanted — I said Original and then there was some silence, and I went on to the next window not confident that, that was the correct answer or if I was going to be receiving any food at all based on her total disinterest in taking the order to begin with. It’s such a sad dismal place, where they only employ sad, demoralized people — who you can see visibly want something bigger and better for themselves. It’s watching the American Dream die in the eyes of children who aren’t getting enough sleep. I don’t know what kind of organization Burger King is to work for, I can only assume it must be the most horrid experience ever imaginable. I hope all these people who work at this Burger King get to live some day in a world where they don’t work in this wretched place and find even an ounce of joy in their lives. Until then I’ll be dining at the Burger King in Wyoming, which is actually where it’s at, and has been at — for some time.

The tables are often dirty and rarely cleaned, Similar to the Bathrooms. The food quality varies. I’d say 70% of the time it’s fresh and the other 30% means the food tastes like it’s been sitting under heat lamps for hours. I have had the occasional messed up order but often times they are good at getting things right. The staff quality varies as well. Some times they are nice but often times they are rather cold to you and not very respectful either. Here’s a tip — If you work in a place where you have to deal with dozens upon dozens of people a day, It wouldn’t hurt to be nice every once and a while. I can’t say that I’d recommend this Burger King but if you need something quick then a trip through the drive thru wouldn’t hurt.

Just was served some take-out and received A turkey burger, cranberry apple chicken salad wrap, chicken tenders and a loaded tot. The salad wrap was served with disgusting blue-cheese dressing that was SOUR and the turkey burger had so much ketchup on it it burst everywhere when I tried to take a bite, disgusting to say the least. I haven’t been to a burger king in nearly five years and though I would try the turkey burger in a pinch for a quick meal. I will never return as a customer to any of their establishments again in this lifetime.

Never in my life have I encountered a more unpleasant cashier than at this Burger King. I merely asked whether the frappes came in decaf or not, and I was more or less scolded by the cashier for not knowing the answer. I cannot recall her name, but she had grayish hair and was slightly obese. On a separate occasion, I ordered a veggie burger that arrived cold and with way too much mayo. Never again.
