Great place for italian when in Kingston. I was up there on business and Unilocaled this place. It was not a disappointment, fresh bread, fresh zeppoles in the bread bowl, what?! The food was on the money as was the service. Spoke with one of the owners, the wife, who was super friendly and actually helped wait and bus the table, thats great when everyone pitches in to make a great dining experience. The only drawback I could mention is the atmosphere was a little dark, it would be great for a date night, but we were a bunch of dudes out for a business dinner, so not great for that. If you are in the area I highly recommend.

The menu is extensive. The meatloaf is really good. I most recently tried the chicken cordon bleu which had a light cream sauce and mushrooms. This was delicious. I went with a party of 10 for lunch– which they easily accommodated. Everyone was pleased with their meals.

Hearty Italian pasta and seafood. Straight up fine dining. Small homey, family-friendly Italian. Great for couples as they have clothed tables and carpet. Slightly darkened, intimate experience. Dishes include manicotti, stuffed chicken parmigiana and salads to start with. Christina’s is the place to share and laugh. Not much of bar and drinking scene. Could capitalize on more variety of wines and after dinner liquors. not to mention trained waiters. Fun all around convenient locale. Prices medium, you get your bang for the buck!

Been here twice! First time just my husband and I and the second with our 8 year old daughter. Both visits were excellent! Food is amazing, staff is attentive and friendly. The prices are very reasonable especially for the portion sizes which are HUGE!!! I ate my entrée for 3 days and it was just as great the 1st day as it was the 3rd. We’ll continue coming back.

While the food was wonderful and the environment beautiful, the place is understaffed, waitstaff was inattentive & the three course meal took two hours to serve(that’s not an exaggeration).

I’m so happy this place kept the amazing food and not to mention the amazing bread basket that I always talk about which includes pita and hummus, bread, and zeppol’s! I was worried after they got new owners and changed the name. Prices are also amazing as well as the portions. My mom got mussels over linguine and it could easily be shared between 2 if not 3 people, not to mention it was also part of the early bird special that came with soup, salad, dessert AND coffee. The salad was great. Choice between 4 soups, which I got the chicken and rice. Way to peppery for me but amazing broth otherwise. I don’t know why I always tend to get the Eggplant Parm whenever I eat Italian because I never like it. Being Italian myself it’s hard to beat my own, so I’m not going to remove a star for that. I also had a choice between pasta, potato or veggies for a side and I got the veggies. They did not disappoint. It’s been a while since I was served FRESH vegetables at a resturant and not previously frozen. Service was great and attentive even though we were a party of 10 loud Italians. They also had a nice outdoor seating area. I wish I didn’t move away from this area because I’d continue to come back.

While I cannot say the food was something I’d go back for, the service was top notch, very attentive and a very sweet girl. We were a party of 10 so I know it can get hectic. Even though they were closing, we weren’t rushed out. The entire staff was friendly and always smiling. That was very welcoming. The food, meh. Chicken and rice soup was super super salty and I could not finish a cup. Ordered their shrimp cocktail, was good and consisted of 5 very large shrimp. Had penne Bolognese for a main course, waaaaaay too much sauce and wasn’t very tasty. Portions were huge. Ordered tiramisu for dessert, tasted like it was a frozen dessert that was thawed. And no espresso or cuppucino? WHAT? Never went to an Italian restaurant that didn’t have that So, a regular coffee ordered and it was a good cup of coffee. All in all, a causal friendly place that doesn’t serve very good food but they sure make you feel welcome.

We enjoy dinner here used to come all the time then they closed and remodeled we came once and just forgot. Now back in our rotation we eat out allot so will come here much more like before. Their soups are always good, salad wonderful, dinner garlic steak, shrimp pasta all good. And then dessert all for 18.95 coffee and tea early bird until 6:00. Never try anything else for dinner this is to good.

Went for my Fathers 80th birthday with a party of 12, Huge portions, service was good. We had 2 food allergies and they cooked their food in a special oil to ensure there were no problems. Recommend the meatballs, penne a la vodka and chicken with mushroom risotto or chicken parm.

$ 16.95 a plate for average pasta. The salad was very small but the breads were decent. My martini was great but my girlfriends Cosmo was weak. The service was excellent. I don’t think I will ever go there again. In my opinion this place is extremely over priced for what it is.

Was here for Christmas Eve, reluctantly, with family. I cannot stand that they have such an odd limited menu. The food that night is clearly prepared in advance, typically mushy, and im my case I was given an offensively small number of Lobster Ravioli which were clearly frozen pre-formed ravioli with imitation lobster meat in them. That didn’t stop the owners from charging a lot for them and only giving me something like 7 of these small ravioli. Overall not impressed with Christina’s and even less so when compared to the world-class cuisine in Chicago. It’s too bad, I used to love Guido’s food.

Good Italian food. Accomodating, huge portions, decent prices for entrees and specials. Garlic Bread Fondue app is really great. The atmosphere is light and open(the total opposite of its predecessor, Guido’s).

We were at Christina’s on New Years Eve and had a wonderful experience. Our service was excellent! My brother had a white sweater on and one person knocked over a glass of red wine — you guessed it — on the white sweater. They took the sweater and treated it and totally removed the wine. Food is always outstanding here. Their homemade soups are to die for and don’t miss the chicken parm! Outstanding and easily enough for two meals. I had prime rib which was outstanding too!

They have excellent service, tons of good authentic tasting food. My only pet peeve with restaurants is when they charge so much for soda or iced teas and don’t offer free refills. Well guess what this is one of them. Otherwise the servers are excellent! :)
