I’ve had Cat as my hygienist, and hubby has gone to Dr. Thacker for crowns. We both rave about the experience — unusual for going to a dentist office, no? Cat is a lovely woman who knows her stuff. She always gives me a great cleaning, but also answers questions, has good suggestions and is very mindful of my overactive gag reflex. Hubby said when he first went to Dr. Thacker to replace his crown, he was wary, as every time he’s had this done in the past with other dentists, it hurt for weeks afterwards. Not this time!
We’re big fans — of a dental office! Who knew?

I am not a real fan of having to visit the dentist. Being a military brat I had become used to the fact that it was gonna hurt. It was gonna hurt the day that you went in and it was gonna hurt for a day or two afterwards.
Well, I am happy to say that it does not have to be that way. Dr. Thacker and his staff manage to do a great job without inflicting pain. A novel concept indeed.
Judy, the hygienist, is also fantastic.
If you need a good dentist in North Kitsap County, you would do well to consider Dr. Thacker.
