Great little breakfast spot(lunch too). All their bagels are homemade daily, and they’re delicious! Good coffee, good service, worth the stop!

Tthe other day I was in and ordered the chicken salad over a bed of lettuce, it was brought to my table, I was eating it, when all of a sudden I find in my mouth a chicken bone. I immediately showed it to the owners daughter. She had a real attitude. She took the dish and high tailed it into the kitchen, with such an attitude. I asked her if she was mad I showed it to her, she aid«no don’t worry about it», I said you see very annoyed, she said«don’t worry about it». Never, «I’m sorry, we’ll check better next time» or anything. A real turn off for me. I write this review not to be vindictive but to warn others to be careful of ‘what could have happened to me’

I came to Kingston to visit my mom and she took me to this cute little bakery. They have great food for reasonable prices. It is also family owned.

Delicious breakfast! I had breakfast here with my husband and my parents this morning after listening to my parents rave about the great food and this small bakery and restaurant. It’s a wonderful small, family run place. I had the red white and blue Belgian waffle special. Homemade whip cream, beautiful fresh berries and an amazing from scratch waffle. I also had a great mocha smoothie, served in a mason jar(so cute!) the waitress was very friendly and the service was quick. It’s not fancy or pretentious at all– don’t expect this to be bread alone or some fancy café. Very reasonably priced. Oh and the owner makes everything, and I do mean everything, from scratch-bagels muffins everything.

This is a cute little place I just discovered today, on the recommendation of a friend who knew I would love it. Very unassuming place, with pretty red ceiling fans and red toile wallpaper accents. The food though, was the selling point — delicious, fresh, homemade soup like your grandma used to make, a sandwich, and a side of homemade pasta salad for five dollars! Then homemade bagels and bialys, and can’t wait to go back for breakfast, and try Eggs Benedict with homemade English muffins!
