As far as ranges go, this place was pretty mediocre. The one thing that does stand out however, all the guys that work there that I spoke to seem to be genuinely nice guys.
But here’s the negative. The range areas are pretty cramped. The range stalls aren’t too bad in width. Where it gets cramped is behind the range stalls. So, if you go there with anyone, there’s no table or anywhere to do any reloading. Space is cramped and you really have very little room to get out of each others way. So for that reason, this place could use a little help. Even putting a table along the back wall to put your gun bag, your coat, do your reloading, etc.
Would I go back? Yes, I probably would. If I had a choice to shop around, I probably would do that though too. I go here because this is the range that a friend who lives down there, which I visit from time to time, belongs to. With a little bit of work, this place could be a lot better.

Knoxville, TN
Frontier Firearms has a very friendly, knowledgable staff and a nice, clean, up-​to-​date firing range. I live in Knoxville but drive to Kingston for this gun store because the selection is the best around (unless you want to drive all the way to Benton). Frontier keeps more inventory (of everything) than T.A.C. (off Lovell road), and it is far superior to all the other shops in Knox and Blount counties (especially Gunny’s in Maryville. .. don’t even get me started talking about that place).
