I have been to this gas station many times when I go upstate. Always good sandwiches, made to order and fresh! Good coffee, tea, slushies. They give free coffee, snacks sometimes when you are on their Facebook. Staff is pretty friendly and I think their gas prices are always a bit cheaper than anybody else. For me it’s always a must stop when I get up there.

Slightly after I began to learn the benefits of saving money on gas by using their discount card, I started to come in here. It was fairly common to notice me in here buying gas after I stop off for my weekly sandwich at McDonald’s next-door. I’d stop off and give them some money to pay for discounted gas. I rarely had a line here. Things seemed to move fairly quickly here. And besides myself stopping here, of the two places in Kingston, my mother and parents seem to use this station over the other one 7 miles down the other side of Kingston(officially in Lake Katrine, NY) Besides that, they also sell miscellaneous things that make this a good stop for common staples of American life such as milk and butter and sandwich utensils. Surprise, surprise, there’s even a sandwich making location here along with a self-serve drink filling location here. The aisles are wide and I have never seemed to find a problem coming to this location. I’ve only found the sandwich they make to be disappointing. The sandwich they make for the price they use, is definitely a disappointment. You get a much bigger sandwich at Subway for a much smaller price. I do like though the style of bread they use for the 6″ sub. They don’t use just half-rolls as the 6″ roll Subway uses, however(the only plus about the breads they use for their sandwich). Also, I do like the self-service technologically-advanced ordering station. Makes things a breeze to order exactly what you want in a short period of time. Although I’m currently taking a break and using another Quick Chek down the road for my gas purchases, I currently keep this one in my thoughts and will use this station in the future.

Home in Kingston for the weekend and I noticed something new at the end of the street. Wait, could it be? It kind of looks like a Super Wawa! I have to check this out. Alas it wasn’t to be, Quick-Chek is just a cheap imitation of a Wawa. Don’t be fooled. Coffee — Not nearly as good Breakfast Sandwiches — Suck Premade Sandwiches — Certainly no Wawa Drink selection — Nothing special and nothing comparable to the liquid crack that is Wawa Iced Tea I’ll bet even Wawa’s gas tastes better. Fuck you fake Wawa!
