This is another local favorite. This is my morning stop and I recommend them any time I can. Staff is always friendly and they try to move the line as quickly as possible. Their espresso is smooth and perfect with any flavor latte or mocha I’ve had. I recommend their oatmeal with walnuts and house baked apples. Their cinnamon scone is a great option as well… Actually… All their scones are really good.

This is the best coffee in kingston. Friendly service and delicious beans from Vita. Right on the way to the ferry making it a convenient and quick stop.

Great sandwiches, coffee and staff. The sit in area is quite and peaceful. Fast, staff too. Prices are fair. Recommend this over the Axe Handle, but that just my opinion.

I wouldn’t start my way any other day. I’ll always grab a bacon, egg, and cheese(half a slice of pepper jack) on a gluten free muffin and a drip coffee. They are fast and so friendly. Once they put the wrong cheese on it but they are consistent enough so I just shrugged it off. Oh yeah, the hot roast beef sandwich is something to drool over…

I can’t say enough good things about this place. I commute via the Kingston-Edmonds ferry and whenever I’m running late and need a coffee/breakfast sandwich to go, this place is exactly what I need. Great Seattle coffee, always super fast & super friendly service, and good food. They’re lifesavers. Thank you guys!!!

The staff at Cup & Muffin always greet you with a smile. I often start my day with a coffee here. Reasons you should come here: *Walk up or drive they option *A barista will walk up to your car to get your order started if you’re not yet at the window *Great bagels, muffins and lunch options *Prices are decent *Sign on the iPad when laying with card, you can add tip on there as well *Very short wait *Conveniently located in the heart of Kingston I can’t think of any reason not to come here, it’s such a great place!

I ordered a 24oz iced white chocolate caramel mocha to go before i caught the ferry to Edmonds. The staff were very friendly, but the services was so slow. I am sorry to report, but the coffee was pretty terrible. I do not know if they burned the shots that were pulled or if they were using old milk… but something tasted funky about it. I mentioned this to my boyfriend a few days later and he mentioned that he had a similar experience a couple months before. Sorry ladies!

I ordered a cappuccino and took a sip as I parked by the ferry and the drink was room temperature. It wasn’t even warm, I waited all day to try this place before we got on the ferry and it sadly was a waste. A cold cappuccino doesn’t taste so good!

Love this place. Very friendly, fast, helpful and great selection of food to eat while you sip coffee. The prices are amazing as well and there is a beautiful place to sit down in a garden with a small pond and fountain. Highly recommend coming here if your are strolling around Kingston taking your time or also if you are in a rush to the ferry but need food or coffee before you get on.(Yeah ferry food is never gonna be this good, this fast, or this friendly) Very very good value and wonderful small business for Kingston.

I am currently moving from ballard to the peninsula in which i must take the edmonds kingston ferry. I love the cup & muffin, just drive in and if there are more than a few cars there they come out and take your order to speed along the line I am a Iced Latte drinker and this coffee is the best on the peninsula. I tried a few others in and around my new area and to be honest i was thinking i might have to give up the luxury of the iced latte and even more, once off the ferry and you pull in, you let all the ferry traffic get way ahead of you, and makes your drive around so much better. so 5 stars it is, they keep their equipment clean and makes for tasty tasty coffee. never has it had that«burnt » taste Great Job

I’ve never had the coffee, so look elsewhere for an opinion there. I come here for sandwiches all the time, however, and the quality is superb. The Grinder is my favorite, and the breakfast sandwiches on croissants are my breakfast of choice. The staff is unfailingly courteous and capable. Call ahead and you can shorten your wait… and mine! I should add that if you’re a fan of real bagels, boiled in malty water like back East, skip these. They’re just bread.

It’s cute, it has drive through. Mediocre inconsistent coffee. I’ve been coming here on and off for the last 3 and a half years. Sadly I am reporting that the coffee has been disappointing in the last few months. There is just no consistency. One day I can get a perfect cup, then it tastes burnt, or watered down, or too dang hot to drink. Each day it is a different outcome. This little shop is super cute, but I really need to know what I am getting each and every time I am here. It’s a crap shoot, roll the dice and maybe you will get your perfect cup of coffee. If you like to gamble, take a chance on this place.

The Cup & Muffin has such a presence in our small town. Their breakfast sandwiches are very tasty and fresh. I’m not a coffee drinker, but they have an array of other drinks to choose from(I usually get either the coconut Italian soda or the raspberry/vanilla Italian soda). The staff is super friendly. Their salads are very good.

The friendliest coffee shop hands down! We stopped in since my sister bought us a gift card for Christmas. To my amazement they have a gluten free section on the menu. Everything we ordered was delicious. My first impression was a winner so I will be going back for sure!

Great little coffee/sandwich shop in Kingston. Close to the ferry, so great for driving through to load up before boarding. Very fast and friendly service, with employees coming out to cars waiting in line to get their orders started. They offer a lot of great sandwich options. The girls split a peanut butter and jelly, which was huge! I had the BLT with cheese. Really good, thick bacon, lettuce, tomato, and havarti on focaccia bread. My husband had the chicken salad, which he said was delicious… they advertise that it is their own recipe made fresh daily and it tasted that way. It came on a fresh croissant. The coffee was good, and they also offer breakfast sandwiches and pastries.

Amy and her crew just can’t be beat! If you’re heading to or from the Kingston ferry, do yourself a solid and stop by the Cup and Muffin. As the name would imply, it’s a coffee shop, but it’s oh-so-much more! Their menu is varied and whether you need breakfast(I recommend the breakfast sandwich, on a bagel, with canadian bacon) or a freshly-made sandwich(I like the black forest ham sandwich — always comes with lots of crispy lettuce and thick-sliced bread!), they’ll cure your cravings. The team is friendly and quick — and even though I’m not over here nearly as often as I’d like, they still remember me and greet me like an old friend. Not only do they serve up fantastic coffee and grub(OH! And granitas– which nobody seems to serve anymore!!!), Amy and the team give back to the local community — I always see their name on local events in Kingston. Way cool, ladies. Way cool. I’ll be back over again for the Fourth. Keep the granitas chillin’!

I go there all the time. Great coffee, great service and tasty food. Almost always the service is exceptional and when it’s not, it’s still good! When the weather is nice, you can sit outside in their little garden area. My favorite place for coffee in Kingston

I’ve seen The Cup & Muffin a few times on my drives to Port Angeles. I love the warm colors of the place and how inviting it looks from the outside. As I pulled up I realized that The Cup & Muffin had a drive-thru which served my purposes fine since I was beginning the last leg of a long, long trip and I was eager to just keep moving. I pulled up and(even in this weather) was able to admire the garden they have set up for people to sit at and while I did only order a mocha I saw that they had plenty of goodies for anyone looking for baked sweets and/or sandwiches. The mocha was good. They use Caffé Vita, and that’s always wonderful, but the reason I rushed home to write the review was THESERVICE. The Barista working there was so, so, so friendly and happy to be there that it was infectious. I left with a huge smile on my face and a yummy mocha to warm me up on the Kingston-Edmonds ferry. Thanks, Cup & Muffin! See you soon!
