The El Cubano Sandwich is pretty damn good. Had this place for lunch while waiting for the ferry… And damn surprised. I will be back!!!

I had a fancy-boy burger to go on lunch, and with my first big bite I tasted dirt on it. I thought it might be something wrong with bread(gluten free type) because I could easily imagine it went bad with mold. So I decided to remove buns and tried the second bite. Nope. It was not buns had problem but something wrong with hamburger patty or sauce. That being said it is not even about if burger tastes good or not but it’s just not even edible… My side was coleslaw and it tasted not good either. At this point I miserably gave up my lunch.(Yes, I’m still hungry) I should maybe call the store to complain about this but I don’t know if I really want to go back trying it again after this experience. I just hope my stomach will be OK…

Their burgers are really good. They remind me of Red Mill in Seattle but I maybe even liked my burger a bit more than a Red Mill burger! It’s the perfect size burger with fries. I had the bacon cheeseburger which comes with American cheese as the default. I normally don’t go for American cheese but I decided to stay with it and the melty cheese with the bacon was a great combination. The buns both got soggy though which isn’t great when eating a burger. Fries were crispy and pretty good. It’s counter service only and you bus your own trays. It was about 34 degrees outside and quite chilly in the restaurant. I would definitely eat there again. It’s extremely casual and low-key and their burgers are great!

Great little road side place. Good basic burgers and fries. Don’t bother with the onion rings. Nice selection of shake flavors. Some times a little inconsistent in service and quality especially if the group of young men are working. They tend to screw around a little more than the girls that work there.

I love the Grub Hut, Always great food, had a cracked cup one time and got some ice tea on myself but that was resolved quickly and 10% taken off of our meal. Ordering goes quick and you get your food fresh and quick. If you haven’t eaten here, you have to go. Friendly service.

Grub Hut has tasty burgers and fast service for busy workdays. Their Sun Dried Tomato Goodness burger is amazzzzzing, but they have many delicious varieties if you’re looking for something more mainstream or a little out of the box. My boss loves their Chicken Gyros and their hummus plate is pretty tasty too. Their fries are pretty hit-or-miss. When they’re a fresh batch, they’re perfect. But when you’re getting to the bottom of the batch, they can be a bit rubbery. The sandwiches themselves are big enough to help you overlook this.

Great little place. Stopped with my family on our way north. We shared the fried pickles– awesome! We also shared a burger, can’t remember the name of it but it was perfectly cooked and we loved it. Service was very friendly. We got lucky and got a table, it’s a small place and looks like it gets pretty crowded. I’d definitely stop here again.

As soon as you walk in, you’re hit with a wave of delicious smells. It’s intoxicating! Nice, simple menu makes it easy to decide.(Although everything sounds good…) Staff are very friendly & food came out quick. I got the BBQ burger and my fiancé got the Hangover Helper. The fries are seriously perfectly cooked /salted. & The burgers were both very yummy. I would definitely make the long drive out here again. So worth it.(I also really love their music!)

We walk in and the place smells great and they were playing Bob Marley. I had a hard time ordering my burger because there is so many and they all have funny unique names. I finally decided on the silly Californian. It is 1⁄3 pound of beef, bacon, avocado, jalapeños, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and garlic mayo. The burger comes in a quick manor even though it was the lunch rush and OHMYGOD! It looks like a burger commercial! The best part is it tasted just as good as it looked. The tomato slices were so huge just like they should be. The avocado was very large slices and the perfect ripeness. The bacon was a very thick slice and cooked to perfection. Wow one of the best burgers of my life! As for the fries, they were average but I’m still giving 5 stars because of the burger!!! Also they have a very good selection of fun and unique hot sauces as you can see by my picture. ****bonus! They brought over a free peanut butter milkshake which was unexpected and delicious.

Everything I’ve had here is wonderful. My favorites are the hangover burger and the chicken gyro. The child menu options are a great deal at $ 5 a pop. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is fun. My kids especially love the funky salt and pepper shakers that are different on every table. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Jamaican gyro, hamburger, BLT all yummy. Not a fan of the fried pickles or the onion rings but I am still working my way through this menu. It will take awhile

The food was okay, We had the Shroom burger and classic cheeseburger. It could have used some seasoning. The prices are great for the amount of food and also they give military free drinks. The place was clean and had a great atmosphere to it.

Great burgers, sandwiches and salads at this local favorite. Despite the fast food style, everything is cooked to order and the burgers are the best in town. Popular with families and often fairly busy. Pretty much everything on the menu is good.

The Name says it all! If you want a mound of frozen, pre cut fries drenched in bright yellow nacho«cheese» ladled out of a 5 gallon pail, then head on over to the Grub Hut and order the«Pound O Fries» special. The other items on the menu are of similar culinary merit. Burrrrrp! EZ John

This place is great! I had a BBQ burger with fries. The portions were more than generous. The fries were seasoned perfectly. My burger was incredible! The garlic mayo really makes the burger. I live in Poulsbo, but I’ll definitely be driving back to Kingston just for this place.

Just ate there today. When walking in the set up is a little confusing… There is no big visible menu only specials– I think they would benefit overall with a big visible menu– instead you have to awkwardly locate a paper menu while the worker girls kinda look at you like«have you not been here before?» Ha. Overall, I got the«silly Californian» burger. It was good. Delicious. All that a burger should be. The fries were basic to me… I also ordered the fried pickles because any place with fried pickles is my type of place… Ha. I like them better when they are chip style but they were still pretty good and the ranch was tasty too. I also think the place would benefit with a separate women’s/men’s bathroom… But perhaps it makes it more«homey» without… Overall I will stop again for a burger.

My husband and I ate here and it was Delicious! The fried pickles are amazing, the burgers are huge and the atmosphere is fun and friendly! My husband had the mushroom burger. While I feel mushroom burgers are pretty standard anywhere you go this one was pretty good! The beef patty was cooked perfectly and they did not skimp on the toppings on the burger! I can’t remember the name of the burger I had but it had spinach, olives, pico de gallo, avocado slices and provolone. It was fantastic! This place is a cute little hole in the wall. Overall we really enjoyed it! The only reason we wouldn’t give it 5 stars is the fries aren’t fantastic. The regular fries were a little lacking in flavor, other than that you should try it out!

WOW! Fun surprise in Kingston to find the Grub Hut! We don’t get out this way often, but this place is a must stop here. We had the Caesar’s Gyro and the Uncle MacGyver’s Burger with the Navy Bean and Ham soup and Potato Salad. Seriously great tasting food, don’t miss it!!!

Thank god for this funky little hole in the wall! They are what a hamburger should truly taste like, unlike all those other wanna be burger joints and restaurants running around this town! They use beef from all grass feed cows and this means you will get a great tasting burger every time. They have a crazy selection of burgers to chose from too! No worries if your not a burger person because they also have chicken sandwiches, philly steaks, gyros, salads, and lots of starters to choose from, not to mention 29 shake flavors to pick from! What tops this deliciousness off, is their prices, are all cheaper than you can get a burger elsewhere. Yay for Grub Hut!!!
