Oh my, that was a bad experience, a really bad experience! From service to food, it doesn’t get much worse than that! It’s a casino buffet and I’m rating it as such, not comparing it to a Vegas buffet either, just a normal, every day, Indian Casino buffet. It was horrible!
The cashier was straight up bored! There were three of them standing around talking and we «interrupted» wanting to have some breakfast. Wish we would have let them continue! We got seated, ordered some orange juice only to find out it’s $ 1.00 more for anything other than coffee or water! WHAT? How weird is that?!
The food, oh my, the food! Most things were out including the bacon — breakfast without bacon just isn’t breakfast. The scrambled eggs were dry, the biscuits were little hockey pucks and I had to scrape the pan to get any gravy. Didn’t try the sausage, it looked a little too gray! The pancakes were small but that’s okay, just take more of them right? If there were more! Only one half slice of french toast available. They said they were bringing things out… we waited… eggs… french toast… hash browns… no bacon, still no bacon!
Besides the bacon, what really got me was that the dessert bar was filled, cakes and pies and cookies and such, but we weren’t allowed to have any! We had to wait 5 minutes for the dessert bar to open for «lunch». WHAT? On customer appreciation day we have to wait 5 whole minutes? So what happens at 11:00? The dessert guy goes into the back kitchen and doesn’t come back out for 10 more minutes! Yep, he saw me get up to come get some lemon pie and he deliberately left for 10 minutes!
I will NEVER spend my money at this buffet again, I don’t care if it’s free! (Which it was!) Well, the orange juice wasn’t free so I did in fact end up spending some money!
