Food is great, but takes a little long. They have many TV’s, and they will put on the channel you want to watch I front of your table. Service is lazy sometimes. Every time I go there no one is there, and it seems like the employes think its a time off. Overall 3 out of 5.

I’ve been here a few times and the there’s always some disappointment. Its called a bar but the bartender doesn’t know a thing about cocktails. The food quality and taste is down IMO from good to just ok. Recently they changed the lighting throughout the restaurant and now you need your phone flash to read the menu. Probably not going again.

Came here with my wife for an Indian curry and was pleasantly surprised. Mixed appetizer for 2 a bit plain and overly fried, but entrees had great flavor and large portions. Chicken Tikka Masala had good flavor and not too sweet. It could have used a bit more chicken and less sauce. Lamb vindaloo was properly spicy and okra was really nice. Owner told us they have new chefs so willing to give them another try as they work out the kinks. Plan to come back.

I go to this place a lot & most of the time, they deliver a great experience. They messed up my catering order for a family Xmas gathering yesterday, hence 3 stars. I even called in the morning, hours before picking up to reconfirm my order & was told we are all set. Drove down 30mins to pick up the order. My mistake I didn’t double check my order before leaving. When I got home, I realized I was not provided what I ordered. I called to let them know I was missing xyz, I got a ‘we had a communication gap’ excuse. However, I clearly stated I wanted xyz & was willing to pay for it. My recommendation to fellow Unilocalers: Double check your orders before leaving & reconfirm your order details before picking up. My Xmas party dinner went on but was frustrated & disappointed w this whole mishandling of my order.

The food was ok but the service today was just terrible. it took an hour to get us a menu then almost another hour to even get the food. It took is about 2 hours 30 minutes to get out. They were totally understaffed to handle the customer volume. If they knew they wee so busy they should have just turned away customers vs seating everyone who walked in. Overall a very miserable experience

ThUs far the best Indian I have had in the area. I ordered take out(as usual) and picked up within 10 minutes. I got the garlic naan and palak paneer mild and both were wonderful and rich in flavor without overdoing it. I’m happy I listened to a friend and ordered from them and will try to make it in to sit down for dinner.

Pind is a solid 4-star with good food, good décor, large place with a nice bar area, adjoining sports bar, plenty of parking, and a wait staff that could be slightly more smooth. Went with a large group of 9 but they handled our order and service in a timely manner. Food was really good. Mixed veggie apps had samosas, pakoras, and spiced idilis. The spiced idilis are a must have. Never had anything like this before! Pappadums were crisp and fresh. Entrees of yellow lentils, potatoes + cauliflower, and mattar paneer was A+. We ordered medium spicy and found it just right for the palate. Word to the wise — order a side of Raita to cool off the spicy heat. Tandoori rotis(flat bread) were charred to perfection. I like it without butter, it sweeps the taste of the sauces much better into your palate. No place for dessert after a heavy meal but always a room for Masala Tea. I actually liked their tea — tho, it was not steaming hot. What gives with lukewarm tea? Most in the group also ordered plan lassi — seemed like a hit, folks went for seconds. And yea another tip, avoid sitting at the end of main hall against those circular bench seats. The sofa-back is almost vertical and very uncomfy. We switched over to the more traditional long table setting in a jiffy.

Yesterday, we had our son;s graduation dinner party. Overall the food was Excellent & we were pleasantly surprised at the taste & quality, having done many such events at other desi places around. The Banquet hall was spacious, clean, isolated(from the noisy Bhangra party going on next door). The bar outside was handy, accessible & pretty reasonable. We had gone crazy with the menu, with unusual stuff like Khandvi, Undhiyu, Salmon Tikka, Dhoop Chaao, Chicken Chettinad, Persian Falooda, Kesari Shrikhand etc. amongst other regulars. But boy, did they deliver. Service was outstanding. A special shout out to the Manager, Mr.(Cool Dude) Prashant, he is your man, if u ever need a party organized. Happy.

**ACTUALRESTAURANTREVIEW**(the sports bar has its own page) This is a pretty standard Indian restaurant. The food was actually very good. I had the paneer masala. While the flavors were there, the paneer had a very interesting, almost rubbery, texture. It was unlike any other paneer I’ve ever had. The naan was standard with a good chew. The major fault I found was the service. First it started off with the ordering process. I don’t know if the waiter wasn’t listening, but he got it wrong. And not like a little wrong. Like my dining partner ordered a coke and the waiter took it down as naan. He also brought is diet cokes instead of regular, which is no big deal. It was fixed immediately. Besides that he was no where to be found until he came to clear plates and give us the check. When he gave us the check, he stood maybe five feet from the table and waited. I found that a tad strange and unnerving– maybe I just like to have space and not be watched as I’m shuffling through my wallet.

Place was huge, weekend buffet was very well laid out with excellent selection. We were the first people there(5m after they opened) so some of the food was not yet hot. The place looked like an awesome hang out for a drink. C-Sanitation rating was a little concerning but didn’t seem to effect our decision to eat or the experience.

Great food and staff. A full bar is the added plus. I like it. Been there more than a few times and still top of my list for tasteful Indian cuisine. Have got catering done once as well, everyone loved it.

Definitely praiseworthy. It’s a huge place with some good décor. You have the option to sit at the bar or at the restaurant and both are great. Went for a Saturday lunch buffet — not very crowded. The food was good for the veggies and the non vegetarian — excellent lamb and chicken dishes. The standout was the Gulab Jamun(sweet balls) desert .the softest and tastiest that I have had in the U.S. A must try . They also had quite a few beers on tap which is always great !

Came for a baby shower event. We were in the banquet room to the left when you come into the door. Beautiful lighting fixtures, very bright and lovely accents to the walls. The food and drinks were delicious. I’m not close, but not too far away and I would definitely come back for a full dining experience.

The food is great but the staff at the bar are running around like a chicken with their heads cut off on a night that wasnt so busy. Took a while to get my drinks and food. They couldnt play the game I wanted to eatch at the bar so I got my food to go which took way too long. I ended up missing the first 4 innings of the game waiting an inordinate amount of time for a few sliders and paneer.

I have come here for happy hour/after work drinks at their sports bar and have had dinner here on multiple occasions. The service is great and food is consistently delicious. Recently I tried their Bhindi Masala and assorted naan. The bread was fresh and bhindi was flavorful with the right amount of spices.

Great Indian food. Their sports bar menu is also pretty good. Bartenders make drinks on the stronger side which is a plus. AND one of the bartenders even does magic tricks sometimes. If that’s not heaven than I don’t know what is

I will say that some of the people I encountered here were genuinely helpful, and tried to accommodate my friends and I, but overall, service is uneven, the menu is a little odd, and the whole vibe here seems to indicate that the place is run by people who have good intentions but not the restaurant expertise to pull it off. It’s too bad, because the Pind has 2 nice big bar areas that could easily accommodate a band, as well as a restaurant/banquet area. A group of us came for drinks, appetizers, and a few entrees. The person who seemed to be the bar manager was not especially friendly or helpful, which is odd because my friends and I made up about 90% of the bar clientele that evening. I did not sample the food, but my friends who did came away thinking it was just«okay» and the pizza with shrimp? Well, it was a little weird. There is a good foundation here, but it seems the Pind/Kixx is struggling to attract a steady crowd and perhaps has an identity crisis? It’s an okay spot for happy hour if you want plenty of room and no big crowds. From 4−7pm the house wines & draft beers are reasonably priced. Beyond that, I can not heartily recommend the Pind at this time. These guys need a plan to attract a larger crowd, and offer more consistent, friendly service.

Only ever been here once. A few months ago for a private event. The private banquet hall to the left was booked for an Indian wedding event and these guys naturally did the food. GOOD food.

I came by for an event in banquet hall. The hall is beautiful and big enough for a party of 100. There is a dance floor in the center and couple of elegant chandeliers hanging. The hosts picked all vegetarian options, and I was not disappointed. For appetizers we had samosa chaat and tava paneer — both delicious and very flavorful. For lunch there was vegetable korma, dal makhni, paneer tikka masala, pasta and garlic bread, and a few other items. I tried all of these and I enjoyed it all. My eyes are often too big for my stomach when there is a buffet available, but I actually finished my full plate of food because it was so good. There was also gulab jamun for dessert, but it was a little dry and too sweet. I know, I know — gulab jamun is supposed to be sweet but this was really too sweet. The service was also excellent. Although the food was set up buffet style, the wait staff was continuously clearing the tables, which was really nice. I’d like to try it again during my next visit to NJ.
