Excellent surgeons, but don’t dare complain if anything goes wrong. I had knee surgery(outpatient) and it went well until the 2nd week of therapy at Theraworks next door. Pain hit so badly I could barely walk using a cane or crutches just to get around. I went back to the surgeon & he didn’t have a clue what was wrong & didn’t show any compassion. He just kept saying, «You aren’t the same man I knew». Well, no, I wasn’t. When you are in pain 24/7, you change, and not for the good. He even released me from his care even though it was obvious something was severely wrong. I complained to their main office & they set me up with another appointment with the same doctor. He ordered another test & discovered I had been injured during physical therapy & there was nothing they could do without more surgery. It took two months to recover. I sent another letter to their main office stating that the surgeon was not at fault and even complimented him. A year later, my wife came down with a knee problem & I recommended the same surgeon. She went to him, had an MRI and paid for her visits with him just to be told that he would not operate on her because I had complained about him and she is married to me. There are other surgeons out there. Find one. These people can’t take a complaint at all. Can you imagine a business refusing to do business with everyone who filed a complaint? These people do not understand that a customer who complains is giving them the opportunity to make things right. That is taught in every business course I have taken.
