Well, we were so impressed and satisfied with the first job Kirsch Landscaping did for us that we decided we would go one step further and have the backyard landscaped. Again, Tonia of Kirsch Landscaping listened to my requirements,(ie, levelling, sodding, stump removal, stone edging etc) gave me a price, told me what time they would arrive and hey presto I received the same excellent service as before. Prompt arrival, courteous work crew who understood exactly what their job entailed, who worked extremely hard, hardly taking a breather and doing a very, very nice job leaving my yard immaculate. I cannot extoll their virtues enough. Thank you for a wonderful job well done. «YOUHAVETRIEDTHERESTNOWTRYTHEBEST»

We hired Ken of Kirsch Landscaping to spruce up our yard(front and back) before putting our home on the market. We had some areas of grass in both the front and back yard that was looking thin and unhealthy, so we had Kirsch lay new sod in those areas, which came to two pallets laid in front and two laid in the back. We also had him put some fresh color in the yard, as well as addressed a drainage issue we had on the side of our house, for a total cost of about $ 4,500. Kirsch offers a one year guarantee on materials and labor, but with the exclusion of items deemed to be damaged by «acts of God»,(too little or too much sun, rain, wind, etc.) which he apparently uses to his advantage whenever necessary. Our front sod did fine, but for whatever reason, the sod he laid in the back never thrived. We did have a lot of rain, but if that were the issue, it would seem that the front sod would have failed as well. The biggest issue I had was the dismissive attitude and unprofessional way our complaint was handled. Ken Kirsch, the owner who came to our home and oversaw the project, wouldn’t even call us back directly to respond to our concerns, but would only relay his responses through his secretary. We weren’t in any way demanding or nasty in our request to merely have someone come to look at the grass to try to assess the problem(we only live 10 minutes from his office). Needless to say, we were just rather shocked when Ken finally did call us back; but instead of offering to come by to try to assess the issue, he just blatantly refused, stating that he’d seen this problem many times recently and he deemed it to be due to too much rain, and therefore, was not covered by his warranty and all he could offer was to replace the sod at FULL price($ 1,200). Ken was aware that we were preparing to move out of the state, and it just seemed obvious that he didn’t see any need to try to appease us, as there wasn’t any chance of us giving him any further business. For a company that claims to have up to $ 5 million in annual revenues, they certainly behave like they have very little experience in customer service.
