Marie Wanamaker

When I moved to Texas, I had a series of hair coloring disasters. Two at the hands of professionals and one self induced. My hair had reached a point of multiple un-​uniform colors and the roots had gone black with attempts by another colorist to bring it back to normal. I had the good fortune of reading a review of Marie Wanamaker on a local website for someone in a similar situation and I made an appointment hoping for the best. Marie works out of Arturos Salon in Kingwood, TX.
What I walked in with for Marie to work with was a total train wreck, and what I left with after her work was exactly what I wanted. I got back to uniformity that was close to my natural color, while covering my few grays and preserving just a bit of highlights that had been done years before. In addition, she gave me a great haircut that took advantage of my natural waves, but gave me a nice amount of flexibility.
If you want a hair stylist that really listens, while being realistic about what she truly thinks is best, then Marie is your woman. She is an expert colorist, not to mention a pleasant, humurous individual who brings intelligence, insight, and experience to her craft. I used to dread going to get my hair cut or colored, and now I look forward to my appointments with Marie because I’m completely confident that I will be happy with the results.
