Apple Montessori Schools

My son has been attending Apple Montessori for almost 2 years. He started at 16 months old in Wayne and then transferred to Kinnelon in January 2016 when we moved to the area. I cannot say enough good things about the teachers he has had and the administration. Even when I had an issue at both schools, it was immediately addressed and brought to resolution within 24 hours. There are always going to be issues that arise in childcare, and it is so important to focus on how they are handled. Mrs. Miller, my son’s teacher at Kinnelon, is second to none. She is extremely intelligent, passionate and communicates with me very regularly on the progress of my son. I have had multiple people comment to me how verbal and bright he is for his age and I really do attribute this to his education at Apple Montessori! I am looking forward to my younger son attending as well when he turns 2!

I would ABSOLUTELY NOT recommend Apple Montessori. Our younger child had a bad experience there, and we found the administration to be very difficult to deal with. Both of our children left after only 3 months of attendance.

I chose Montessori based on it’s reputation. I looked into Apple because it was nearby as another type was here too. I felt more comfortable with Apple. I definitely made the right choice. My son who is now in 1 st grade went there from 2 to kindergarten. He started half days 3 times a week and we worked our way up to 5 full days. He absolutely loved it. Loved his teacher. He learned manners, simple chores, and academics. He is at the top of his class in math and reading now. My 2 nd son now is in kindergarten and loves it there. Different teacher but just as great. They learn addition, multiplication, reading, science, geography and how to learn from other students when they are little and then how to teach when they are older. I could go on and on. This was definitely the best choice I have ever made for my kids. Next year I will miss Apple kinnelon Montessori so much.

My daughter has been going here for a year now (she is currently 3.5) and I couldn’t be happier. Her teacher, Mrs Miller, is so genuine and caring. We love the team, the school, and the Montessori program.
