Kinnelon Eye Care

Very professional. My 5 year old son is a patient and she works great with him.

Doctor Barbara Koslow is professional and a great doctor, I have been going to her for about 7 years. I went to kinnelon eyecare today to purchase a $ 400.00 pair of glasses. I walked in to where the glasses are displayed looked around for about 5 minutes patiently waiting for someone to help me, there wasn’t anyone that came to help. I went to the front desk and asked if there was an optician available. She responds well you just walked by the front desk, I didn’t know you needed help. That response was rude, what do you think I was doing in the store. She gets me an optician, he pulls me up in the computer then tells another employee can you take her I am going to have my eyes checked now by another employee. She starts to help me, I am looking on the computer at color options for glasses and she gets up and walks over to another customer leaving me sit there for ten minutes. I tell her I am sorry are you going to help this women because I am here waiting, she replies yes we are short staff today. I would have waited another 20 minutes for her to finish up with a customer that came in after I did. She told me I would have to wait, I told them they were rude and I will no longer be a customer there because the staff is always short and rude except for Barbara the optician she is very professional. To bad the doctors have to lose client for something they have no part in. There were other opticians there in the back room talking and laughing one of them the husband of an an eye doctor there and the other one was having his eyes checked. Apparently
the employees don’t care about customers because they will make you wait while they are kidding around in the back room. I know the employees there cause I have been going for many years. So they basically lied and said they were short staff to take care of there own selfish needs. Customer service used to be good here years ago but not anymore. I
never writes reviews but I just had to this time.

Everything about this office is wonderful! I have seen both doctors, gotten glasses and contacts, and interacted with almost all member of the staff. Every experience surpasses expectations, I highly recommend them!

Everyone here is friendly and most of all professional. They do a great job from the front desk all the way through. I see Dr. Barbara who worked with me extensively to get my contacts right. Glasses are quite expensive if you choose to purchase them, but you are getting top quality and service. Based on my experience other places, I can not stress enough how competent and professional this place is. They do NOT pressure you, and do work with your budget. They were very patient with my daughter as well.

I had a great experience with Dr. Barbara, as well as the staff. I didn’t feel compelled to buy glasses there so I didn’t. No pressure. I felt they took the time to go into detail. (my 13 year old got contacts) i don’t understand the 1 star reviews

I don’t understand the negative posts here. I’ve never had to wait more than 10 minutes when I show up for my appointment. Dr. Patellis has been SO helpful and patient with all my questions. The follow up exams have always been very thorough. I don’t know what else to say. I moved almost 50 miles away and I still come back because of how nice everyone is and how comfortable I am that I receive quality care.

Everything just seems like a big deal at this office. Nothing is easy and the staff is not particularly helpful or nice.

My wife and I took our 14 yo sone here after our school told us he may need to have his eyes checked out. My self I have never had to deal with a opt. So I felt like they were very helpful with us trying to learn something we knew little about. I learned a lot and feel like we got great help.

Their prices are ridiculous, their selection of frames leaves a lot to be desired, the sales clerk cannot negotiate the price of glasses and refers you to the boss. The boss in turn says he’ll discuss it with the sales clerk and no-​one ever gets back to you. Not sure who actually works for who.
Avoid if at all possible!

THE WORST! I’ve been coming here for years and the service has just gotten worse and worse!!! I had an appointment at 10:15 and am still in the waiting room, it is 11:00. No one has said anything about what the hold up is or anything. I’ve been having problems with my eyes since March of this year and the doctor has only been able to help through trial and error. The lack of respect and knowledge of the eye are appalling. I don’t understand. Getting my files and finding a new doctor. I suggest you do not ever come here!
