The part the erks me the most about a company like this is when you have to hook up service or have a technician come out to the house, they give you a 4 hour window. FOURHOURS! Yea, I have nothing better to do on my work day or day off than to sit around and wait for the tech to show up. Very frustrating.

I don’t typically write negative reviews, but Suddenlink Communications deserves my ire. I am now a happy Dish Network customer due to the incompetence of Suddenlink staffers. I went for weeks with little to no internet service, had multiple conversations with tech support about the issues, and was told that it was on the company’s end, but I still had to pay for a service call. When I went to the store, I was told that they were working on the issues, and were sending out new modems free-of-charge to all their customers. I had never been given that little tidbit of information, but was told several times that I would have to pay. When I told the receptionist that I had talked to several different tech support people, her response was«don’t ever call tech support, call us.» What is the point of tech support, then? To top it all off, the cable was subpar anyways, and I had a nice monthly charge for an additional receiver added to my bill, but I only had one receiver in my home. I tried for months to get them to remove the charge, only to get the run-around from various people. My monthly TV /internet bill is cheaper now, and I get much better service. Stay the heck away from Suddenlink. It’s not worth the headache.
