We have tried this spot twice in the past few months. The first trip involved seeing some poor sanitation situations and seeing staff have plenty of time to play around but not keep our beverages refilled. A complaint to the manager was made and we were assured a future visit would show improvement in these issues. We decided we would try another visit to see if things were better. The service was decent but the wait time for food was ridiculously long. This was on a Monday evening… not a busy night. It took 40 minutes to receive our food and when it arrived the food was lukewarm at best. To top things off, when the food was served, one plate slid sideways and part of the food went into the floor. The server apologized but didn’t offer to replace the food… or even pick it up off the floor. The food remained on the floor throughout the meal and never was replaced. Several servers stepped over it but didn’t even mention it. There was no manager out front to speak with at the time we left. Also very inexperienced staff, not attentive to the needs of our table. Again we contacted the corporate office. A call from the manager indicated that she had been making rounds through the restaurant and must have missed our table as we were there over an hour and never saw a manager. We are done with this restaurant. Too bad as it did offer a reasonably priced location without having to leave town. Our advice– skip Texas Steakhouse and go to Greenville for a nice dinner out.

Food was horrible. My husband took me out for our first date night in months. Somehow I expected more. No romantic ambiance there. Bright track lighting in your face, bright white walmart tile under your feet, old dirty chairs left from last two restaurants and servers cutting up and being loud while sweeping under our feet. Steak WAY over cooked and DRY, salad poured out of a grocery store bag salad. Hunted for a tomato but found none. The waitress we had was very kind, however she over charged us when then tried to correct it by CHARGINGUSAGAIN. Had to go back to manager the next day to get it corrected. First and LAST trip. Disappointed. It certainly is nothing like the Texas Steakhouses I’ve been to before. And definitely not worth the almost $ 40 bucks(really $ 80 after the overcharge). The manager was apologetic, empathetic and humble. He gave us a refund, but I still don’t think we will be back. You only get one chance to make a first impression.
