Bruce a Johnson, DDS

One quick disclaimer about this review is that my mom is one of the hygienists, so I am a bit biased about her care of my mouth. :)
I don’t know many people who enjoy going to the dentist. The staff at this office, though, are very friendly and do a great job of welcoming you and help keep you at ease. The office, itself, is designed in a way that feels comfortable and calm: the rooms have televisions to distract you during your cleaning or procedure, the rooms are cozy, and the décor is tasteful.
Equipment is modern and staff are up-​to-​date on current procedures and options for your overall mouth care. I had to have a crown replaced and I greatly appreciated that the crown was actually made in-​house while I waited. I didn’t have to wander around for days with a temporary crown and then come back. I even got to watch the machine make my crown, which was really cool.
I’ve changed insurance carriers a couple of times since coming to this office and have appreciated that this office was a preferred provider on both.
My mom has been a dental hygienist for most of my life and she has worked in many different offices. This, by far, is my favorite one. The front office staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about what your insurance covers and payment plan options for things that aren’t covered, the dentist is fairly laid back about suggesting different procedures and it seems that if you really need something done outside of a routine cleaning, he emphasizes that well without being pushy, the dental assistants are very adept and are a calming presence if you do need a more intense procedure done, and of course, the hygienists are great too. :)
