First off, the staff is amazing and friendly and deserve 5 stars. Dr. Campo is very nice. My daughter and I have both been here. Her experience I’m happy with. Mine, not so much. I have NEVER had an experience at a dentist like I’ve had here, and I have been to plenty of dentists over my lifetime thus far. My experience started with a tooth that I was told needed a root canal. Unfortunately, I moved out of state right after that and needed to find a new dentist. Dr. Campo is close to my house so I went there. X-rays were taken and he said it didn’t look like I needed a root canal. Okay? I did however, need a filling on another tooth. First appointment, couldn’t get my mouth numb. That’s never happened before. I had to make another appointment to come back. After that appointment was rescheduled by them a few days later, I finally got back in. Second appointment, 6 shots later, I was able to have the filling. Now, onto previously mentioned root canal-needing tooth. I was told it had a crack in the filling and that was probably the cause of my pain. Cool. Fill it and send me on my way. Oh I wish I was that easy. Now that they know I need«special» numbing agents, here we go. Pain. While. Drilling. Yes… my worst nightmare. After frantically typing a note on my iPhone for him to STOP, he said, «Yes, this tooth needs a root canal.» Gee… thanks for confirming what my previous dentist suggested and what I figured was true to begin with. Let’s call an endo specialist and get me in for an emergency appointment. The office gets on the phone with them, I’m scheduled to get in the next morning, wait… what is this going to cost me? Debbie, the insurance biller, was VERY vague in telling me what my portion was going to be and only AFTER I pressed the issue she finally told me that I had used up most of my benefit because of the previous dental work(that I didn’t need I might add). Great. Cancel emergency appointment. I have to wait. Root-canal tooth finally got worked on a few weeks later only due to the fact we got new dental insurance. I go to Dr. Campo for my crown. Go in for first appointment, crown should be here next week, make an appointment. Okay. Temporary crown until then, don’t eat on that side basically. Okay. A couple of days before my appt. I get a phone call that someone needs my spot and would I be willing to reschedule. I guess??? Get rescheduled for the following week. Get a call again that the assistant was out and I needed to reschedule again. Really? The temp crown was starting to come off and I was told«just put a little vasoline on it and it will reactivate the glue.» How about, get me in when my appointment is!?! Finally, after having a temp crown on for over 6 weeks(they’re not supposed to last longer than 2 – 4 weeks TOPS), I get in and have permanent crown put on. Now, it’s time for my cleaning. Appointment was set MONTHS ago. I get a phone call needing to reschedule AGAIN. This was now the fourth appointment that I had made ahead of time that needed to be rescheduled for whatever reason. When I brought it up, I get«I know» and nothing else. I’m done. I canceled all of my and my daughter’s remaining appointments and we’re going to someone else.

I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Campo and his staff. They have been very meticulous when I have had any work done on my teeth. They are very honest and I never feel ripped off. Plus, they are nice enough to watch my 1 and 4 yr! Bonus! Great job Dr. Campo!!!

Looking for a new dentist is never fun. I feel I got very lucky with this one! After a year of multiple visits, I feel confident leaving a 5 star review. The office is nice, the staff is incredible and the doctor is awesome. They all have fantastic senses of humor! My biggest hope was that I’d find a doctor that would become my families doctor(starting a family this year) and after seeing Dr. Campo with the kids coming in his office, I was completely sold! Kids love him! Who likes going to the dentist right? It’s apparent that these kids look forward to it and continue to visit him as they become young adults. I’m happy to say that we have found our family dentist. Thanks Dr. Campo and staff! See you next week for those fillings. ;)
