I found Cardinal Heating and A/​C via Google and remember seeing their vans driving around town. I reached out to them and immediately they were able to get me scheduled for an estimate to have a Heat pump installed. Tom H. showed up right on time and was thourogh and very informative with his advice and input. I had a lot of other companys «no show» on me and I know that its a busy time for A/​C work, but they made sure to fit me in a value me as a customer, and not just a number.
I would recommend Cardinal and Tom to anyone reading this.

We were recommended to Cardinal by friends as we were going to get a new furnace and A/​C installed. We had already received a quote from another company. Cardinal came in more competitive price wise and were able to start work just a few weeks later. Their friendly team (Dave and Nick) arrived right on time and worked very hard for two days. Our new system passed its inspection without any issue, and the inspector commented on what a good job they had done! I have already recommended them to friends and will be using them for a regular furnace service.

Our Capitol Hill furnace stopped working on the Friday night before Easter, putting us squarely in the $ 400.00 for the first hour weekend service call zone. We found our warmer sweaters and toughed out the weekend because we are cheap. When we called on Monday morning, Cardinal sent a service guy out before 9:30 AM. He worked hard to speed up the process and get the needed replacement part back from Kirkland. Even with a trip across the lake to get the part, we had heat again by 11:00. Better still, because we had yearly maintenance from them that involved replacing a related part, Cardinal did not charge us for this repair. I love people who stand behind their work and come when they say they will!

Man its cold in here. Today my furnace took the day off. Called Cardinal at 1:30, a repairman arrived at 2:00 and at 3:00 the heat is on. Seems it needed a new come-​on baby light my fire.

I’m an architect who has worked with a number of heating sub contractors over the years. I called Cardinal when I had a venting/​condensation issue in my own home, and set up a time for Cardinal to look at the problem the following week. Tom called me prior to his arrival to let me know he was on his way, and was there prior to the scheduled time. He quickly diagnosed the issue, and was able to resolve it within a couple of hours. I found him to be very knowledgeable, professional, and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them.
I’ve also had the opportunity to work with them over the past couple of years on a large job, and they’ve shown the same level of professionalism and skill on that.

I recently had a a few simple questions regarding updates to our existing home heating and thermostat. I called around a half dozen places in town and was told I would need to pay between $ 180-​$ 230 for professional assistance. Cardinal heating was the only company that spent time discussing the issue with me and provided a thoughtful and thorough email explaining my options that allowed me to complete the work on my own. If you had ten stars, Cardinal deserve them all. The entire staff, especially our installers Dave and Nick, we’re professional, very courteous and the hardest working technicians we have ever had work on our home.
We installed a new Mitsubishi heat system and the work was done perfectly, timely and the job site kept immaculately. That group gets our «Best-​Ever» award for a job well done. Ten stars!

The technician was one of the most knowledgeable technicians I have ever met. He came to our house, and gave us a second opinion about work we were thinking about having done from another contractor. The technician found a lot of problems with the other estimates, and gave us great ideas about how to install our new heat pump. If you want the highest quality installation done, I recommend this company.

They installed my furnace in 2002 and their service was phenomenal. When I called recently to set up an appointment to look at my furnace, Robin did a great job coordinating the maintenance visit so that everything came together smoothly. The gentleman (I wish I could remember his name), who arrived and worked on my furnace was pleasant, professional, and very informative. Everyone that I’ve dealt with has been wonderful, and it’s obvious that they take pride in providing excellent customer service. I will not hesitate to use them again!

Cardinal came to my rescue when I needed a quick A/​C fix during this hot summer. Their prices were middle of the road for the service I needed and they quickly responded to get my system fixed. Everyone I talked to was very professional and helpful. The rep they send out was so nice and answered all my questions. I’ll definitely be using them in the future!

I have only had wonderful experiences with Cardinal Heating and A/​C. This entire team is quick to respond to inquiries, extremely knowledgeable about HVAC, and so incredibly friendly. I will be using Cardinal for ALL my HVAC needs. Could not recommend them enough!

I had a great experience with Cardinal. I was converting my home from oil heat to natural gas, and pretty much had to start from scratch (getting the gas line dug from the street, etc etc). I got quotes from three different companies, and Cardinal was right in the middle in terms of price. However, they were at the top in terms of clear communication, honesty, and trustworthy «vibes.» Tom came to the house to prepare the quote, and unlike one of the other companies I had come out, I did not feel at all like I was being oversold on items that I didn’t really need. Additionally, during the vetting process, I had MANY clarifying questions for Tom (why their quote did or didn’t include something that the other’s did), and he was VERY prompt with his responses. At the end of the day, Cardinal actually came down in their estimate a bit to be more in line with the least expensive of the quotes I got, and handled securing all of the available rebates.
The Cardinal team was on time each day they were scheduled to come out, very polite, cleaned up any of the mess created in installing the new furnace. I would highly recommend using them.

Apparently, Cardinal is quick to sell you something, but not so quick to fix it when it breaks. Cardinal installed multiple Carrier furnaces and AC units in my recently-​purchased home, but one of the furnaces stopped working last night. It was close to freezing outside and the fancy digital controls Cardinal installed in my home registered the inside temperature in the 50s. I called Cardinal first thing in the morning when their web site said they were open, but had to leave a message for the service department. When no one called me back for two hours, I called Cardinal back. I got through to the service department and was told they could «fit me in» sometime next week. The person suggested I call another Carrier service provider, but when I asked who to call I was told to look at Carrier’s web site. The person I spoke with was not helpful and was unfriendly. I told Cardinal that they had lost my business and the person actually told me that was my problem.

Probably one of the most complete yearly services I’ve ever had on my furnace. The rep took the time to look at the whole system and point out possible improvements and problems down the road. I like that its not just the look over without really doing the work. I’m going to keep these guys!

Had an amazing experience with this company. After not being able to get a few outfits to give me a quote in a timely manner (one company quoted me 4 weeks!), I scheduled with Cardinal. Tom was incredibly polite and professional and was able to replace my furnace within just days. The price was very reasonable, and the installation was seamless. Tom put up with my barking dog and my four year-​old son’s inquisitiveness! He even let my son hold his flashlight for him which made my little one’s day. They did not try to up-​sell me a furnace that was larger or fancier than my needs, and I really felt like we were dealing with honest, good people. Would not hesitate to recommend to my family and friends!
