Small little park on Kirkland’s waterfront. Not as busy as Marina Park, but just as nice and more peaceful. If you’re looking to have a small picnic, then this is the place to go. You can see the beautiful sunset from here. There is ample street parking, and it’s pretty close to 520 if you’re coming from Seattle.

This was my favorite park when I was growing up on the Eastside. It was small but the perfect water front escape among the houses and condos. A large willow type tree to lean against, a few benches placed for enough apart to avoid overcrowding or over hearing other’s conversations. There is an awesome dock with its own benches that provided the best view of Seattle, day or night. I would come here late at night with a book, read a little and gaze off into the lights across the water.

Packed! 9PM on a Tuesday evening in June, this park was jam packed full of people. Regardless, one of my favorite places to chill out with a friend and catch up. Easy parking, close to all the bars/restaurants.

This small park is one of the many parks(Marina Park, Waverly Park, etc) along the water that is within walking distance of downtown Kirkland. Cool place to walk/hang along the Lake Washington waterfront. The park includes an extended dock, picnic tables, large grassy area and benches. The parks are also decorated with public art displays like the«The Water Bearers» sculpture boasting a water feature. Went for a short break on the dock and soaked in some rays and had a small snack. On a warmer day, be sure to wear some swimwear and take a quick, cool dip in the lake at the end of the dock. Parking is along Lake Street and seemed to be plentiful.
