Jiffy Lube

I had a bad experience at the 85^th st so I drove past them this time to hit up the 124^th street location at 4:49pm on Sunday the 31^st. I was not trying to get it this close but I was toting a four year old so stuff happens. In an empty garage they turned me away saying «we already took our last car for the night». So do you close at 4:45? Or 5:00pm?

Was long overdue for an oil change and luckily Jiffy Lube was able to help me out last minute. There was no wait and the whole process took less than 10 minutes. Marco was extremely nice and helpful and made sure to give me the best oil for my car. They also checked the rest of the car, vacuumed the inside and cleaned my windshield. Will be coming back again!

I feel like every time I looked for a place to change my oil, there was a massive line. I stopped by this shop right after work one day, and they got me right in! it was quick service, they were all nice guys, it was a relaxed environment, they even helped me brainstorm new cars with me, as I happened to be in the market. I was in and out with no hassle, and no annoying upselling.

I had forgot why I don’t use Jiffy Lube any longer. It had been a couple of years since I had been to one. But it was close to where I was and my poor car needed it. So I stopped and got the oil changed. While I was giving him my info he asked me what package I wanted I didn’t know, so he explained them to me. And he said we have a rebate and told me the totals of the packages and the rebate totals. So I went with the $ 93 dollar oil change, like I said my poor car was a little overdue for a change. And with that would have a $ 30 rebate. Cool only $ 60 not too bad! He told he he would give me all of the info about it when I paid!
Well time to pay and I had to remind him about the rebate. So I pay, he prints me out another recepit and gives me the ppwk for the rebate.
WAIT WHAT!!! The rebate is for Jiffy Lube. To me a rebate is MONEY BACK! Nope I was totally duped and mislead! I was livid. THIS is exactly why I stopped going to Jiffy Lube! There is ALWAYS extra work your car needs, or parts that it needs. DId I mention I was told I needed an engine flush for $ 40, oh but they could make it $ 35 for me. No thank you!
Got home and called the corporate #. Was given a refernece # and the district managers name. Was told I would get a phone call back within 72 hrs… Yea that was on the 15^th, this is the 28^th.
Thanks but no thanks Jiffy Lube, and you can be sure that I will tell EVERYONE that I know how horrible you are and misleading. AND you have no follow thru… Not exactly that way to keep a customer or get new ones!

So spoke to the new dist. Mgr and he was very nice and very apologetic. Offered a more than fair deal to make it right! I just have to get in and get it done! Thank you Tracy!

Cheap and fast service. I’ve been taking my car here for years, the full service is epic.

Came here for a quick oil change. He suggested I get my tires rotated. Since they have never been rotated I thought it was worth doing. The car is only just over a year old. As I was waiting, the technician came in and said that one of my lug nuts had been stripped and asked if I had extras? Why would I have extras? I said no, and he offered to go to discount tires and get one. I said «do whatever you have to do». A few min later he comes back in and says his manager won’t let him because the nut was stripped when I brought it in. I said that is not true, because it’s a new car and those tires have never been off of the car and it had to have been stripped when he took it off. I asked to speak to the manager. When he came in He continued to argue with me about how it HAD to be stripped before I got here, and then abruptly said, «it’s fine I’ll buy you some new lugs». Then he walked out and threw the stripped lug nut across the oil bay area. What happen to the customer is always right. Even though I KNOW that lug was not stripped when I came in, he did not need to be a dick. The technician was very sweet, and didn’t charge me for the tire rotation. When I left he told me that it was not my lug nut and that the stud that the lug nut goes on was bad and I needed to go to the dealer to get it fixed.
Last time jiffy did my oil they left the oil cap off and a mile down the road I had no oil!
Never again.

I called and was told it would be 30 $ for an oil change and when I got there they tried to charge me 65 $! What a waste of time. Obviously incompetent, I’m going somewhere else.

I came here a few months ago when my car was overheating and they took me in right away and were very pleasant and helpful in figuring out what was going on with my vehicle. I work nearby so they let me drop off my car while I left for work and then picked it up afterwards. They didn’t pressure me to spend any money or have anything done on the vehicle at that moment and were honest and upfront about what needed to be done and what didn’t technically need to be done to get my car safely running. Everyone was really genuinely kind and I’d definitely recommend this location.

Really?!? $ 70 for a fucking oil change when the dealership wants $ 48, and the mechanic up the street wants $ 50?
Whatever happened to Jiffy Lube being the cheaper/​faster alternative? Also, it’s generally a bad idea to still press for a sale after the customer has bitched about your excessively high prices.
P. S. You don’t need my address etc to do an oil change. Don’t gripe when I tell you no.
Hopefully this place goes out of business soon. What a rip-​off.

They charged me over $ 80 for a regular oil change and although the employees were nice, there was no clear way to see why it cost so much. Safe to say ill be changing my own oil from now on.

I absolutely love this Jiffy Lube location. The technicians are always so nice and efficient, the waiting area is decent enough for a quick oil change, and it’s always been a pleasant process. They are also great about making sure you’re taking advantage of the latest deal, and never pressure you into buying additional things for your vehicle (unless you absolutely need it!).

I have been coming to the Kirkland Jiffy Lube for over 5 years. I have always gotten in and out quickly with excellent service and a fair price every time. I get the signature oil change with full synthetic. They never give me any problems for top offs and keep impeccable records of my vehicle history. I would highly recommend the Jiffy Lube team!

This location is awsome. I always have a good experience here. I think it’s stupid for people to get all worked up about the $ 29.99 oil change sign — it’s FROM $ 29.99 — if you have a tiny car and you always get the cheapest oil possible. If you drive a bigger vehicle and want decent quality oil (synthetic), you pay more for it, get over it. It’s WORTH it. Also, they don’t just change the oil — they do about like 30 other checks and vacuum/​clean. Some people are so cheap! I’ve compared with other places and you get what you pay for. If you want a good job done, decent quality oil, convenience of not having to drop and leave your care for 2 hours, and a vacuumed car with all the checks they do, go here. Also, sometimes folks, you DO need to have flushes etc done. It’s standard car maintenance and it isn’t free. Love this Jiffy Lube.

I got my oil change a couple months ago. I only wanted an oil change and of course, they went through their usual your engine needs this, because it looks like this. I declined, even though the person who was telling me what I needed, didn’t seem so concerned, very scripted and monotone. It cost about $ 60 for an oil change for my 2011 Subaru, even after I used my $ 5 off coupon.
A few weeks, I got my oil change and car serviced with a Subaru dealership, because it was $ 30 cheaper and they informed that my oil was leaking! I’m wondering why Jiffy Lube didn’t tell me anything about that and it concerns me for future cars that go into any Jiffy Lube location. Other than my oil leaking, they said my engine was fine.
I would rather go to a student learning car mechanics than go back to Jiffy Lube. At least they actually care about cars and would want cars to be working properly.

Arrived at 7 am and they were just opening. Service was great, efficient and friendly. I’ve been very happy with every oil change here, and I trust them to do the best job.

I will not go back again. They tried to charge me twice as much as dealer. When I questioned the price I was told Jiffy Lube is like a 7 – 11 and I should expect to pay more? Once I produced my last 2 oil change receipts at half of the price quoted the manager got involved. Total attitude was not called for. He wrote the price down to meet the other quick lube prices. I appreciate them fixing the problem but my guess is that a lot of people are being overcharged. I will steer clear of Jiffy Lube based on my experience today.

I pulled in when I saw the sign for $ 29.99 and of course they tried to sell me wipers, coolant, etc. pretty typical.
The thing that really got me was they tried to tell me it cost more because I have a 4×4, and when I got the bill it was over $ 60! I pointed out they had their sign out for $ 29.99, but he insisted that because I had a 4×4 it was more money, because according to him 4×4’s use more oil. As soon as I asked to speak to the manager it dropped down to the advertised price.
When I went to pay they actually tried to tell me again it was more money ($ 60) because I drive a Chevy Tahoe, which is a 4×4, and they use more oil! I wonder how many people actually fall for that?!?
I couldn’t believe it. I asked they guy if that worked on everyone — then explained you can’t advertise one price and charge another. Needless to say I paid the advertised price, after explaining it’s against the law to «bait and switch» but I wouldn’t send my mom there to get her oil changed!

Efficient service today. The mechanics were very courteous and respectful. Expensive but worth the convenience. I will bring my car again here because I now no longer need to rent a car because they are so fast.

I was prepared with how to deal with pushy salesmen, but it was totally unnecessary today. They didn’t try to force me into buying anything like I am used to.
Best part, they should probably win an award for world’s fastest oil change. I was there less than fifteen minutes total.

Friendly staff, but they have let in some pushy and shady window repair company. He made me get out of the waiting room by saying «I need to show you something on your car.» This led me to believe there was something wrong. As soon as we get to the car, he starts into the sales pitch and after three «no thank you“‘s. I finally walked away and went back into the waiting room.
This may not have been a Jiffy Lube employee, but they are just as responsible for the poor treatment by allowing these people on their premises.
