I have tried going there 2 times now and they have been closed. What the hell?! One was Sunday morning around 7am. The other time was Monday at 9 am. Come on, if your a coffee shop you NEED to be open in the mornings!!!

I’ve been driving by this dead corner of 116th and 100th for years, and finally something worthwhile! Kameha’s Cup is a great coffee house… I’ve sampled the Pipeline latte and Honey Cinnamon, along with my normal vanilla… all very smooth and delicious. I’d like to see some couches or furniture to give a more«cozy» vibe — that’s the only reason review wasn’t 5 stars! I’ve already redeemed my free coffee after filling up my punch card…

Coffee is smooth. Staff is friendly. The bun with cheese is very tasty. Nice décor.

I stopped in here Friday and got a Breve latte. It was very good! Coffee was robust and smooth with some chocolate notes. The shop has a very nice quiet ambiance. I’m hopeful this shop will thrive on this awkward corner next to Michaels. I took off one star because of price. At just over $ 5 for a 16 oz latte, plus a tip, it’s not affordable except for a special treat.

Nice place inside, but its expensive… almost $ 5 for a 12 ounce vanilla latte? Not sure I will go back, it was OK but not great and getting out of the parking lot was as expected… a nightmare.

This is a lovely little spot just across the street from Juanita Village. Even though it’s just a little shop, the inside is pretty spacious and there’s plenty of seating. There are quite a few Hawaiian blends of coffee they have, plus some Hawaiian-flavored coffees, like macadamia and coconut. Their standard list is pretty decent as well, and there’s a pretty good range of pastries and whatnot to have with the coffee. I’ll have to find a day to come here when it’s not right after breakfast… For non-dairy options in your coffee, the almond and soy milks are both quite fatty and are prone to curdling. This happened to us, but the barristas were more than willing to make a new cup. They were very apologetic about it and also were quite creative in trying to overcome that problem! Also, all their shots are double, so if you order a coffee with an extra shot, that’s 4 shots of espresso.(They can do three shots, but that just means one gets wasted. Or you could get the extra shot in a separate cup and give it to the nice homeless guy across the street, if you’re feeling generous. :)) There’s a little lot in the back, and even though the spot is next to Michael’s it doesn’t seem to share the nightmarish parking problems that that shop has.

My first thought when seeing this long desserted building is now a coffee joint was. really? Another one? How many does Juanita Village need? I can count 5 places you can get some decent coffee at now that Top Pot is here. But trying it out for the first time, I can see where the void was and why this place can be successful. Walking in there is a sense of peace. That island vacation feel. Somehow they pulled it off. Probably helped that we were the only ones there but I applaud their décor and layout. They have 2TV screens. One had sports and one had a surfing video on that my 1 year old son was absolutely fascinated with. It added to the island ambiance and kept our son calm so we could enjoy our latte’s. This is a HUGE plus for us. Would be awesome to see a coffee place take it further and have a little kids corner for parents like us. Now for their actual product. We had the Pipeline Latte with coconut and the Island Honey Latte. For food we had the spinach and cheese bun and a bear claw. The coffee was great. Very subtle flavors. Not overwhelming. The espresso could have been a bit stronger and the latte itself hotter. It got cold pretty quickly sitting by the window. The spinach cheese bun was ok I guess. The bear claw was unusually dense and tasted like it was a day or two old. I believe they are closed on Saturday’s because that’s when they do their roasting. So it would make sense if some patries were sitting there a while. By the time we were done, our little one got restless and started crawling around on the carpet. Luckily mommy was paying attention and found pieces of broken glass on the ground before he did. There was a lot of it and I made them aware before we left. I doubt many kids are in there crawling around, but it only takes one instance for a baby to eat a piece of glass and Kameha has a nasty lawsuit on their hands. They’re working out the kinks. It could be successful. I hope it is. If only so I don’t have to see that stupid chicken logo that was there for so many years.(There is still one old sign leftover which I hope they take down soon.)

This corner is somewhat of a legend here in Kirkland. Businesses don’t seem to last long here, and it stays vacant a long time between reinventions. It was rumored a coffee shop was coming a full year, maybe longer, before Kameha finally opened. The interior is nice and though the vibe they want to be is laid back and relaxed, it’s almost lost on the much too fancy new chairs and everything being so shiny. It’s, almost sterile in a way. So the murals and décor seem at odds with itself. As they get settled in, I imagine(and hope) that they settle into themselves. The ceiling map painting is kind of neat, though it’s clear a lot of it was free-handed(at, least, I don’t think longitude lines are supposed to be that wavy and crooked). Good selection of treats: muffins, pastries, cookies, bagels, etc. I met up with one of my Board Presidents for a nice chat. At around 11:00am, it was relatively quiet in the place, though as it got closer to lunch a steady stream came in. Smooth and mellow shots, lovely drinks and a great selection of options in roasts and styles. I’ve heard good things about some of their other drinks and look forward to more visits to check them out. I have high hopes for Kameha to settle in, make a name for itself and carve this cursed corner into it’s forever home here in Juanita.

Best coffee that I’ve had on the east side, easily. The woman working was really friendly and helped me navigate the menu. The furniture and decorations are beautiful(make sure to check out the ceiling). I will absolutely be back.

New rad little spot in Juanita Beach! Coffee is good and it has a really good vibe straight from the islands. Made my wife and I feel a little warmer on a cold day. Some cool action sports on the TV and some comfy chairs. They have a really cool mural of the Hawaiian Islands on the ceiling as well to top it all off. Good job

I usually find Hawaiian coffees to be a bit bitter for my taste, but their roast was pretty dang smooth. The décor is very pleasant. If passion and friendliness keeps a business running, this place will be around a long time.

Great shots, delicious coffee, friendly staff, relaxing interior. Butter croissant was great; it didn’t last two minutes. I’m not usually a fan of medium roast coffees but this place changed my mind. Order the Island Honey or the beverage with sea salt– both were just dynamite. I’ll be back, Kameha!

Good coffee — lovely shots, no astringency or bitterness. The chicken pesto sandwich was good, too, and I look forward to getting there NOT at 2pm and trying some of their pastries! Also, it’s adorable inside with a good amount of cozy seating and natural light. The staff was lovely too. Coffee was no more expensive than anywhere else — prepared sandwiches were slightly higher than what I’d be able to get at a similar coffee shop. Good though.

I love that this building(next to a bus stop!) is no longer vacant and that they serve tasty coffee! They have plenty of small tables and plenty of space, so it seems good for small groups or big groups that want to take over a corner. My 8oz mocha was good. I didn’t try any food this time, but heard good things about the cookies. I look forward to visiting them again!
