This is my go-​to salon for my paws and claws! The entire staff is so welcoming and professional. There are so many colors to choose from, all of them high quality and beautiful! Yen is the sweetest, she is always so willing to do whatever design I ask for, often adding her own unique twist, and always exceeding my expectations :)
Customer service comes so naturally to everyone who works here, I have never seen someone leave unhappy. If you choose this salon, expect to leave feeling pampered :)

Just had my daughter’s nails and mine done here. They did a great jobs with our nails. I had a nude polish, which a lot of places can’t do well. They were also very patient with my little girl. I definitely recommend them.

Everyone here was super nice! I saw this place and just walked in, and they were able to accommodate me right away, which I hear is abnormal! It’s obviously very small, but I didn’t feel cramped or rushed in any way. The only thing that was weird is that they didn’t file or cut my nails at all, nor did they ask me if I wanted them to be. All in all, it was a good experience, but I wish I would’ve asked for a nail file!

This place is alright, I guess? I’ve never had a manicure before, so I don’t have anything to compare it to. I do know it wasn’t the relaxing, pampering experience I was hoping for. It’s a tiny little space, very cramped, and between the music and the noise from the tv it was really loud. No one was super friendly to me, and the person doing my nails didn’t tell me anything about what she was doing, except that I was putting my hand too far into the light-​box thing. Also I had broken one of my nails, so it was shorter than the rest, and she cut all the nails to be the same length as the shortest one then told me I should wait to come in until my mails are longer next time. They prefer you tip in cash, which I wish I had known beforehand, but there’s an ATM right across the street. Even though I got a shellac manicure, I noticed a chip 2 days later, plus a lot of little bristles from the brush in my cuticles. So even though I don’t have anything to compare it to, I don’t think I’ll be back.

I love Yen and her staff are ALL GREAT!!! Yen is very passionate about doing the best job to leave one feeling pampered each time the leave her business. I have been a client/​friend for many years.
Although I could go to other places and pay triple prices, her quality is always better. She is also great at providing wonderful waxing services.
Best to make appointment as they all get verrrrrrrry busy, they do accept walk in customers as well.

This place is awesome.
I’ve been all over and by far this place hits it out of the park. They do amazing. Great customer service. Timely. Only down side is that it’s small in there but my shellac will stay like 3 weeks.

I usually don’t write reviews for manicure salons because 1. I’m never really satisfied with service (how do I put this. they not really nice people) 2. Price is so cheap so why bother writing a review if I didn’t like something. But these ladies are super nice and sweet!!! I finally found my spot!

I will go absolutely nowhere else besides this salon! Over the past year and a half I have tried about seven other shops and none compare to this one. For about six months I was looking for another nail place based on Unilocal and where other friends had gone, but after finding Lake Street Nails Bar I will go nowhere else. The pricing is affordable and the results are always reliable. I’m extremely picky about my nails but I’m also pretty rough with them. I’ve always had shellac that lasts much longer than anywhere else I’ve ever gone to (usually about three weeks and my nails get too long so I need them redone). The color selection is incredible, there is over 400 shades of normal nail polish and somewhere around that for shellac as well. Xena is the nail tech I consistently see but the other staff is always friendly and skilled as well (Yen is the other woman I see when Xena is unavailable). The results from this salon are always at a high standard and I find myself always leaving happy. I would recommend this clean and friendly salon to anyone looking for a basic manicure to a shellac pedicure!

I called them for a last-​minute appointment and within seconds of calling, Yen returned my call. I was able to quickly make my appointment and made it in for my birthday the very next day.
I was actually looking for new nail salon to go to (my current go to nail salon’s service became so sloppy) and I think I found my favorite salon! I sat down promptly when my appointment started with Tiffany. She was very sweet, friendly, efficient, gentle, and detailed. My nails look so AWSOME!!!
I had to go to my hair salon appointment and the time was very limited, even though they did an AMAZING job. Look at my nails!!!

A small nice salon with friendly staff. I asked the lady to design a maple leaf on one of my nails. She did not exactly draw what I asked her but I ended up liking it very much.
She also took care of one of my shorter nails very professionally and made it to look as long as and as natural as the other ones!

I LOVE this place! It’s hard to find an immaculate salon, with lovely staff who do great work. I’ve never had my shellac peel since coming here. Everyone is so nice, Xena is my favorite. My nails are always on point when I come in, never had shellac peel or my toes chip. This is the place to be if you want your nail game to be A+!

I called a week in advanced to make an appointment for my boyfriend and I. Since I was meeting him there, I got there first and was able to sit down immediately.
Upon walking in, you’ll notice that the place is really small. It’s cramped and the employees bumped into each other a lot.
Everyone was extremely friendly! Even though I’m used to talking to individuals with a Vietnamese accent, everyone here spoke English very well.
Make sure when you either make your appointment or walk in and choose your colors to tell them EXACTLY what you want. I came in and chose two colors (a blue base and a sparkle to go on top), but I wanted these as shellac tips. She started working on my hands already and then did the sparkle first. I got confused, so I told her that I wanted a shellac tip. She looked frustrated at first, maybe she was new, but her co-​worker told her how to do it and then she seemed fine again.
Pedicure was awesomeeeeee. They used hot stones on my legs which felt really good!
All in all, this place is small, but does quality work! Prepare to tip in cash or they’ll give you a weird look. =)

AWFUL! Rude Staff, dirty floors and over priced! I came in 2 days ago and I’m still annoyed with my experience. I can honestly say I’ve had over 100 mani/​pedi combo in my life and this was the first place I went that did my nails at the same time as a pedi. When your paying $ 55 for mani/​pedi you expect it to be nice and relaxing. This was a $ 20combo experience priced at $ 50+. Anyways… So while lady is scrubbing and giving worst foot massage ever, shaking my body all over… the other lady working on both of my hands at same time is huffing and puffing that I’m moving to much and telling me to keep still. Mind you I have one arm crossed over my body while she’s trying to work on it while the other lady is asking me to raise my legs so she can work on heels. I actually laughed and told them this was the most awkward experience of my life in a nail place and the lady finally shut up and just finished my nails. Then I could tell she felt bad and was probably worried about tips so she tried to compliment me «I like your sunglasses… Bag etc» FINALLY the crappy experience is done and instead of putting pedi flip flops on she asks to hold my hands to walk me over to foot drying station. This must be normal because she knew I would slide all over the DIRTY tile with my just lotion feet, which I did so good thing she was holding my hand. Then after sitting for 20min I put my shoes on and the lady freaks out and calls me out in front of everyone. At this point with the crappy job they did and experience I didn’t care if my nails smudged. If they were not so cheap and gave me flip flops in first place I wouldn’t have stressed her out so much. Ps… The only reason I came here not prepared with my own flip flops was because I was meeting my cousin at short notice and was not expecting to get nails done until I was already driving to meet her. Save your money… Save your cuticles from throbbing and bleeding. Also when I get shellac it lasts 2 weeks. Mine is already chipping probably because she only did 2 coats. Also the color is uneven. I’ll try to upload pics. Highly do not recommend!

I was in from out of town for a business meeting and overdue for a pedicure and gel polish redo. I found this little treasure on Unilocal and felt I should return the favor of my fellow Unilocalers by rating this salon. I called in the morning, booked an afternoon appointment, was greeted with a friendly smile and taken right in to get my pedicure started.
A very nice gentleman gave me a fabulous pedicure which included a few «extras» that are not included back home — like hot stones on my legs and feet which felt heavenly.
Then, my gel polish by the owner who was willing to try a few different things for me to make sure I was pleased with the results.
I never felt like they were in a hurry to get me in and out even though they were completely booked with a constant flow of walk ins and phone calls.
I would recommend you give this place a try if you are looking to have a mani-​pedi.

I’ve been going to this salon for a year and half now. I’ve gone around Kirkland nail salons. None of them I was very happy with. Then I found this one — to be specific — I found Yen. I am very picky — if i’m paying my hard earned cash, the service has to be worth it. And Yen and the ladies deliver.
Now I’m one of the regulars. I usually get Shellac manicure ($ 25 +5 for nail art) for every 2 – 3 weeks and then pedicure ($ 25 +5 for nail art) for every 3 – 4 weeks. I’ve seen girls come and go but right now, the 3 ladies — Yen (the owner), Ming, and Xena (pronounce: shena) are really good. Yen always knows what suite me when I don’t know what color I want. She’s detailed, awesome and super loving. Ming whom I’ve only done acrylic with for once is meticulous. I am very picky — like PICKY. I have never said «perfect» but that day, she made my very short nails look perfect. It was exactly how I wanted. Xena whom I’ve had a pedicure experience with is also very skilled and detailed. She’s always smiling and sweet.
The advice I would give is that be very clear on what you want and don’t want. Don’t be whishy-​washy about it. Be on time, but also understand that sometimes service can run a little longer/​shorter and you may or may not have to wait a bit. They may tell you they can’t accommodate you; don’t feel bad about it, and don’t take it personally because Yen is just honest about how things are and how much time they have. Please know that all the ladies in the nail salon want to make you happy. I went to this salon on the days breakup happened, or when I was sick, or had a bad day at work. Whenever I get out of there, I always had happy nails and a happy face. Prices are reasonable, they do amazing job, and most importantly these are good ladies.

Amazing service today. Got exactly what I wanted and then some. The ladies here are so beyond nice and give great detail to their work. I drive 30 minutes just to get my nails done here. So so worth it.
The place is small but extremely cozy and plenty of space (make appotment if you can). They have so many colors and are wonderful at designs. A lot of other places I go to can’t do designs very well but this place puts them to shame.
I brought a friend with me today and she was also very impressed. She said it was the best nail expirence she’s ever had.
