Lindeman Weddings & Events

We started working with Erin in January of 2014 for our wedding in May of 2015 in Paris. We met her at the Seattle Wedding Expo and thought she was the perfect choice for us. And we were right on so many levels!
Erin started by scouting several locations in the city and personally going there to check out food, décor, quality of service, and ease of finding a hotel nearby for our guests. Once we made our selection she handled all contract and communication between us and the hotel, sending us weekly updates of all the outstanding items we needed to decide on and the upcoming deadlines.
Erin prepared a variety of checklists, guides, and «inspiration» boards to help us with all of the ceremony and reception design, as well as photos. Finally, in the week leading up to the wedding, she helped organize guest itineraries and hotel arrangements for those in our party who were not as comfortable or familiar with Paris to do all of it independently; took care of all final vendor logistics; and kept everyone more or less on schedule.
A couple of things I want to highlight that we really liked about Erin:
— She was very clear about the quality and variety of services we would get within specific budget ranges for each type of vendor, and once we selected our budget range she helped us get the most out of each vendor.
— She was able to take our general directions about colors, flowers, and ceremony and handle all of the specific details with each vendor, coming back to us only when we needed to make final decisions that we didn’t cover earlier.
— We moved 9 months after we started working together. In that time we weren’t able to correspond as much but she kept everything on schedule and we were able to pick up without any problems after the move.
Our day was perfect – not a single issue, and it was exactly as we imagined.

I did not want to get a wedding planner because I know exactly what I want… and if it isn’t what I want… then you know someone will get in trouble.
I am glad that my husband (then fiancée) convinced me to hire one.
We interviewed 3 planners but I knew before I met Erin that I wanted her to be my planner. Her website and portfolio embodies the type of wedding I wanted to throw and her knowledge and taste of what I needed was what I was looking for.
Erin was instrumental to making everything leading up to our wedding perfect, especially for THE Day Of. I have heard that no wedding is perfect, but despite the rocky start we had with our makeup artist (she was an hour late with no warning), our ceremony and reception WERE perfect.
Erin gave great advice, made my life easier, and went above and beyond on the day of. She and her assistants were FANTASTIC in making sure everything was perfect for the most important day of our lives (so far). We can easily see that her expertise wedding coordination and she’s the best planner we have come across (have worked with other planners for friends’ weddings and they were a bit disorganized the day of).
Everything was well orchestrated and when things hit a snag or we were running an hour late, she improvised and the guests didn’t notice a thing. We really appreciate all of her assistance from helping me bring my vision to life with your experience, idea for something different on the invite — the wax seal, bringing in the window panes, setting up the centerpieces, placing the name cards in the sand trays to contacting the vendors when we were running late, helping us stay on time as much as possible, and being so positive the entire night. My guests noticed her as the «woman running around gathering everything» but in the background, not distracting from the wedding itself.
Her and her team worked tirelessly on the day of, and were constantly smiling and happy to be there and pull everything off. Because we were an hour late in arriving to the ceremony venue (again, makeup artist’s fault) — we missed what the ceremony looked like before guests were seated and we were walking down the aisle. However, Erin was SO thoughtful, taking a photo of it before anyone got there and stepped on the runner with the petals, so that we could get a sneak peek.
We also had no idea what to expect for the décor in reception hall and were taken by surprise when we made our grand entrance. I had communicated how I wanted to alternate flower centerpieces and beach lantern centerpieces, but didn’t have time to give her specifics. Erin and her staff took initiative in alternating the décor for the tables wonderfully. It was breathtaking. And I forgot to bring candles, but somehow she managed to get them and add that much more to the centerpiece look. I was really impressed by how Erin took everything in stride and didn’t pepper me with small detail questions to make sure we didn’t stress out.
Erin’s work for the day of really brought to life what I described and so much more. I can’t even begin to express how wonderful I felt when I walked into the aquarium. Her positive can-​do attitude and support was really encouraging, especially when I was upset by the makeup artist’s unprofessional demeanor. (see my review about her shortly)
Many of my friends commented on how calm I was a month before the big day. Having Erin as our planner was the reason why. Although I did get a bit stressed 2 days before the wedding (who wouldn’t?) because there was a lot to do, it was reassuring to know that she was available and offering to help with anything left over after the rehearsal. However, I would recommend all brides to lean on their friends during this time as they are willing to help.
Her recommendation for the florist was spot on. She did a beautiful job. I was stunned by the beauty of the arbor, the gold orchids that popped and her attention to detail. She was so accommodating in every meeting and email exchange we had with her, and delivered gorgeous bouquets, boutonnière, and corsages beyond my expectations. Most importantly, she made the last minute addition of having aisle flowers unique.
I am definitely recommending that my friends use a planner, and if they do, they should no doubt work with Erin. I don’t give compliments without meaning it, and my friends know that when I give endorsements or recommendations, I am strongly convicted in my opinions. I firmly believe in her abilities to pull off ANY wedding, no matter how complex, or how demanding the bride may get. I also believe that she always want what’s best for the couple and is truly passionate about her work. Erin continued to amaze me, helping us find the right décor for our big day to making everything perfect for when we showed up. We had the most amazing wedding we have both been to and a lot of our guests also told us the same. It would not have been possible without Erin and her team!

Erin made my wedding day the funnest and least stressful day of our lives! She kept me calm and made the day flawless for me. Her services were PRICELESS to me and well worth every affordable penny! I highly recommend her, I didn’t have to lift a finger or make any decisions about the little things during the day. Erin made the room flip in the same venue for 135 people seem like a breeze. All I had to do was sip champagne and talk to our friends and family as well as a little dancing to soak in every moment. Erin was very organized and had all my stuff/​goodies in our car at the end of the night. like magic! I said my goodbyes and floated away like a princess. Erin made it all possible! :) thanks again for making my day fabulous!

One of the most consistent recommendations my fiancée and I received at the outset was to hire a wedding planner. As my fiancée is a professional project manager this seemed like an unnecessary expense at first, but we quickly learned how wrong that initial reaction was. We hired Erin to plan and coordinate our wedding, and I think this might have been the best decision we made around the entire event. Erin made our lives extremely easy during the process, and it was clear interviewing our other vendors that the simple fact we’d hired her put their minds at ease when considering the months of work to come. Not only were Erin’s design recommendations perfectly in-​line with our tastes, but her suggestions for making the day unique and unforgettable (e.g. having an artist, Sam Day, painting the event on canvas through the night) still get brought up regularly by guests and friends who’ve seen the wedding photos. As for the day of, I can say without question that it went off without a hitch, and we’re still hearing compliments months later.
For any couple planning a wedding while managing busy professional lives I’d recommend a planner, and to fill that role I’d highly recommend Erin and her team at Lindeman Weddings and Events. We feel very lucky to have had Erin as such an integral part of our wedding, which was the absolute best day of our lives.

If you are reading this, you are probably in the market for a wedding planner. Search no more… Erin is the best!!! She was the best investment to our wedding. She found the perfect location for us after speaking with us for a whopping 30 minutes.
On the day of, I didn’t have a single worry in the world. She was extremely organized, happy, very knowledgeable and all around awesome! I can’t stress enough how great she was. The months leading up to it, she kept us in line and all our other vendors appreciated her. She was worth every penny.

Erin rocks. I don’t actually know how she does it all, because I know she has a million things going on. She was so amazing in helping to put together our wedding. We originally hired her for day-​of planning only, but then later decided to have her do all of the décor and floral for us as well — GREAT decision. The details turned out absolutely amazing and she helped to keep us on budget as well. If I ever plan another event Erin is the first person I would go to for help with décor and arrangements.

My husband and I decided to hire Erin after a rave review from none other than the former editor of Seattle Bride Magazine. She lived up to our expectations and more! Erin was such a pleasure to work with, such a great listener and really got to know us, and what we loved. The result was our dream wedding, and it was flawless. We could not have done it without her. I really don’t know why anyone would plan a wedding without a planner, more importantly without Erin and her team, especially if you’re on a budget! They saved us so much money, time and headaches, and gave us ideas and resources we would never have imagined. She paid for herself with the savings she negotiated for us! It’s a no-​brainer! While I love the planning and detail work that goes into a wedding, I was not looking forward to the last minute headaches. Enter, Lindeman Events. Erin and Kristi were fabulous to work with and I never regretted the decision once. She is very accomodating, and her pricing is very reasonable. She is willing to step up and handle certain vendors if you don’t want to, but will also allow your own creative vision. My wife and I went with Lindeman after giving up on another wedding planner. Erin (the owner) is great at listening to you to find out what you want for your ideal wedding. One of the first tasks she helps you with is venue selection by taking you to the venues in the area that match what you are looking for. She ended up saving us quite a bit of money by leveraging wedding planner’s discounts with other businesses. She works well with other vendors, even if they are not her preferred vendor. Day of coordination went great, allowing us to focus on having a memorable wedding, not stressing about everything that needed to make it happen.
