Market On Central

Coming from California, I found this place strange.
Under one roof is a Subway, fro yo, and a convenient mart. They also had a great selection of beer and wine including growlers. Service was super nice and I received some recommendations about local ciders.
I don’t see myself frequenting this place too often, but I did like the wine/​beer selection.

This review is for the Froyo here. If you’re looking for froyo, steer clear of this place. The yogurt is not frozen but a slush of liquid mess. There were only 4 out of 6 flavors stocked when I visited. The toppings are either completely uncovered (in not the cleanest environment) or covered, but stale. I had a bad feeling as soon as I walked in and saw how dirty the place was, but I thought I’d at least give the flavors a try. The trouble is, once you’ve put any in a cup, you’ve got to pay for it. So don’t make my mistake. Try somewhere else for Froyo!

How convenient! A Korean run mini mart, subway restaurant, AND sufficient yogurt stand all in the same building… What a pleasant surprise… They got tons of slurpees, sodas, beef jerky, wine, chips, beer, milk, candy as well… haha definitely a great place to go to buy snacks and a sammich…^__^y

First impression as I walked into the store was… «wow, this place has an action. So much going on in here!» It’s like a little indoor European style market in a village.
Freshly baked chocolate chip cookies — Subway Deli — frozen yogurt — good coffee & hot coco — sunny/​bright bay windows — comfortable space to sit — free WiFi — good quality wine shelves — authorized Verizon Wireless corner — convenience store in center.
Very clean, clean, clean and well organized. Usually it’s hard to be neat and organize if so many things are jumbled up together in limited space.
Here are few positive inputs for your possible future visit.
* the sub prep guys are very professional at what their doing from beginning to the end.
* their veggies are soooo fresh and if you keep telling them «more… more…», your sub ended up soooo «fat-​sub”^^
* Their specialty: WINE selection: fantastic choice of wine at reasonable price. If you can’t find what you want, they special order it for you at good price.
Oh, well. I can smell baking of bite size of choco chip cookies in the morning on my way to walk… Hmmmm Yummmmmm. Gotta have it w/​sipping at my coffee…
