Outstanding skills and dedication to quality. He gave our piano a thorough working-​over and it sounds better than ever. Leif did not rush or worry about time, rather he kept working until he was satisfied with the result. A very skilled technician, personable, plus he LOVES pianos. Always a plus!

I highly recommend this piano tuner! He was easy to get in touch with and stayed in communication with me on the day of the tuning to let me know what time he would arrive. He was professional and polite. He stayed over an hour (longer than the usual piano tuner!) and did a careful thorough job with the piano for a reasonable price. He was the first piano tuner I’ve ever had that also cleaned the inside of my piano and used a product to help fix some keys that were sticking. I was very happy with the result!

We have used another good piano tuner in the past, but decided to give Leif a try. So glad we did! Leif Mathisen exceeded our expectations. He took the time and care to do an excellent job tuning our 1950’s Brinsmead spinet piano (tight!). He was able to get down to the root of that pesky click on middle E. His communication was great. He was skilled, careful, gentile, professional and reasonably priced. What struck me most about Leif was how much he enjoyed doing the job and how much respect and appreciation he had for piano design and music. Our piano sounds fantastically. Even our piano teacher was impressed. Highly recommended!
