I had the brisket and it was good but small portions for the price. Plus the time it took for my order, after I was bumped for a large order placed after mine, made me late returning from lunch. Definitely don’t have time to wait again.

I’ve had the pulled pork sandwich and the P-funk salad and I have to say its pretty amazing!!! I have told a couple of people and they also agree. Service at the window is a bit off, but I go the for the food!

So good!!! We had meat on a mission cater our wedding. Best decision. Everyone loved it so much! The pulled pork is just so good. AND he makes all his own sauces. Everyone has different sauce preferences, he has one to suit all.

Meat on a Mission is hands-down my favorite BBQ! Absolutely delicious, tasty, tender, and the most mouth-watering BBQ I’ve had in my life. The sandwiches are delicious, the tacos are amazing, and everything else that I’ve had was great as well. Definitely recommend the sandwiches most of all!

I had the smokes carnitas tacos with soiliel sauce(salsa verde). The meat was smokey but a bit dry. The sauce was okay but did nothing for the meat. It was definitely missing something.

If you’re into run-of-the-mill, chewy, flavorless pot roast like brisket that is so common in the Northwest, you’ll probably be disappointed. If you like smokey, beefy, tender brisket that is hardwood smoked, just the way that God intended, then look for Scott and his truck Meat on a Mission. This is not one of those places you go back to because the sauce is «so good». Frankly, if you leave a BBQ place talking about the sauce, they did it wrong. This is the place you go find again because the meat is the true star, as it should be. The flavor of smoke and a hint of the tangy, spice sauce lingers long after the the last bite leaving you craving more. Bottom line is this: Scott has a real gift with meat and you should give it a try.

Sampled both the P-Funk and the tacos. Both Delish!

MEAT!!! I think their mission must be instilling fear into cows because they roast it so well! You can smell the smoky bbq before you can see the truck. The first time I was going to get the burnt ends but they were out by the time we got to the front of the line, so I ordered a p-funk to split with a friend. I was a little nervous since it was $ 13(I consider it steep for a food truck) so it had a lot to live up to. But now worries! It was tasty. It tasted really fresh from the herbs and the pecans added a nice textural element and slight sweetness. The beef was tender and flavorful and soaked up the vinaigrette nicely. The portion was enough to split, neither of us were really hungry so it worked out. The next time they came around, I ordered a brisket sandwich with half burnt ends and half sliced brisket with Otis bites sauce. Delicious. It came on a fluffy soft brioche bun that served a perfect role of absorbing the juices so eating the sandwich didn’t feel like a bloody mess. The Otis bites sauce was tangy and slightly spicy and had chunks of onion in it. Really loved the sauce. And the meat was amazing! Super smoky and tender. In fact, the smokiness lingered hours after I finished the sandwich — like real Texas BBQ.
