I wasn’t impressed. The staff was courteous and the coffee was okay (I had a latte). It was pricier than I expected. At 5 AM though it’s either here or the starbucks across the street.

My favorite coffee drive thru. Great tasting coffee and friendly service. The only drawback is the lines. They do their best to keep up, but the coffee is so darn good people flock there.

So, let me start off saying that this based solely on the Kirkland location; Redmond location is awesome and is 5 star quality. The last few times I’ve been to the Kirkland Mercury I have been disappointed. This last visit is what is promoting me to write this review. First, I used a coupon and upon giving it to the barista she seemed offended that I would use it. She and the other barista exchanged looks that proved my suspicion. The other barista prepared my drink and chatted bitterly (about music, the weather) it was so random– to another barista just standing there looking irritated. When I finally got my drink, no «thanx for stopping by» «have a great day» nothing, she just handed me my drank and sent me on my way. Now, what really got me was the taste of my drink! I took a big sip from my iced mocha and got a mouthful of powder! She didn’t stir in whatever it was she had prepared it with. After I gagged, I stirred my drink and attempted another drink, yet there was this residue that stayed in the drink. Needless to say I’m glad I used the coupon! Definitely would have been more upset if I paid full price. Also, I did tip even though I felt like it wasn’t deserved it was a hot day out and I get we all have bad days. The reason I’m giving 3 stars is because probably 4/​10x you’ll get a good drink and a friendly barista, but it’s really up in the air w this location! If you’re wanting to try mercury’s coffee try it at their Redmond location! I’ve never been disappointed there and I frequent their shop much more. Hopefully management trains the Kirkland baristas on customer service and how to properly prepare their coffee!

I tried a few times now. But confirmed coffee is just not good. Seems like a corner store or fast food quality. Lacking is cup of hearty full smooth, rich roast… it always tastes like tepid leftovers, or someone forgot to add fresh coffee grounds and used the old ones or something… the staff havr great attitudes though as the weather can be harsh they are practically working outdoors and at the crack of dawn.

I’d love to give this place five stars, but they consistently mess up my drink — coffee is good 80% of the time, some of the baristas have not been properly trained, I’ve started going elsewhere.

Drink was average– barista had an attitude. Tell your order to one employee, then they repeat it to the next three employees before it’s even made. Like a bad game of telephone, then wanna have an attitude with me when I see them making it differently. Passable location in my opinion.

Very smooth coffee, love their latte! Something about going there to grab coffee is very soothing :) great service too.

I always order the iced caramel Macchiato with almond milk. Twice, I’ve seen them put regular milk in my drink and I’ve had to stop them. Mistakes happen-​no biggy. They were happy to fix it. Always good service. Their coffee is organic too! Best coffee I have ever had. They never hand out receipts (I wish they did) and their prices are high.

Amazing coffee with unique flavors like the snickers mocha, caramel mocha, hazelnut, etc. Available both in hot and cold. I like when they give you chocolate covered coffee bean on your drink.
They only have pick up option along with a drive in. Last few times they have screwed my coffee. I hope that doesn’t happen again.
I love the snickers mocha both hot and cold and its strongly recommend.

The service here is superb and the coffee is always delicious!!! I get my latte here nearly everyday!

Love the coffee here. Tried quite a few places before discovering this one n my search ended here. Though I drink only cappuccino as I prefer little more caffeine in my coffee, I have taken few friends there n they tried some smoothies n they loved it too.

I come in on Mondays, especially off of a good Sunday night, and the Blended Red Bull — Banana does it for me. Their Hawaiian silk is also a treat when you get that extra shot ;) The staff here is super friendly and personable :)

Whenever I’m in need of a pick-​me-​up, I head to Mercury. Their espresso’s and latte’s are one of the best I’ve had. I always get a Breve, hot or iced, and the taste is smooth as silk. The latte is full bodied but not bitter. They have many choices and one day I’ll try them, but for now I’m all about the Breve.
The staff is attentive, they have free shot day Monday and double stamp Tuesday, and the ease of getting in and out is superb. And they give you chocolate covered espresso beans! My coffee loving heart has fallen deep for this coffee place.
FYI — it’s a drive thru set-​up so if you’re looking for a coffee house to spend some time, grab Mercury’s coffee and then head to Lake Washington to enjoy the view, weather, and incredible coffee.

I love Mercurys. This stand is almost always great, but today’s visit wasn’t that great. I loved my coffee but my blonde barista was very condescending. Rolled her eyes when I asked if I could buy a cup of water. Pretty poor customer service. Anyway, I still recommend this stand because the other baristas are nice. The espresso beans they use are great.

I came here for breakfast today. It was around 7am and the drive through was getting busy, but it only took five minutes to have our coffee and breakfast ready. A nice lady walked up to the car to take our order and she even grabbed dog treats for our pups in the back seat.
I got a vanilla latte and bacon breakfast sandwich and holy smokes! They were amazing! The latte wasn’t too sweet and the milk was velvety and smooth. Though I got two espresso shots the espresso flavor wasn’t bitter or too strong. The sandwich was on a bagel and had melted cheese on top. So gluttonous, so good!
Two coffees and two breakfast sandwiches cost $ 20, a bit more than I expected to pay. Even so, I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the neighborhood to treat myself.

Hunting for a great local espresso can stop. Mercury blows the doors off Sbux across the street. My drink of choice is a 16 oz double shot Americano, which requires good espresso to taste good. Mercury does it well, the beans are not over roasted to give you the bitterness that haunts Sbux.
The lattes and blended concoctions are all very good. Although, if have to request organic to get it. The stand has to drive up windows, but is crazy busy most of the time. Don’t count on a quick stop, you’ll be here a bit in line.
The baristas are all friendly and welcoming. Although sometimes a bit too chatty when folks are sitting in 6+ deep car lines.

If you are a coffee connoisseur like me and are looking for some good coffee then you must try Mercurys Coffee. I had their espresso and it has a full body, with some slight chocolate and nuttyness, with very little acidity. The roast is nearly, if not perfect, so you’ll enjoy every last drop of your drink.
My girlfriend enjoys a latte and they hit it perfectly with the mixture. No too much milk and you can still taste the espresso in the end.
Couple this with a friendly staff, this is a great place to stop and and enjoy your beverage of choice as I don’t think you can go wrong with anything they make.

I love it !!! Organic fair trade coffee is amazing & makes me happy. No tricks or gimmicks. Much better option than Starbucks. The yummy chocolate espresso beans are so amazing. A nice treat. The service is always friendly.

After being told that Mercury carries a similar drink to Canada’s Blenz, Belgium hot chocolate drink, I had to check it out! It’s close! But I will still drive up to Canada for my drink.
My go to drinks– Milky Way mocha and chocolate swirl. Give it a try!

This is a great drive-​thru coffee shop. It’s along a busy road, so it is often quite busy, but they’re well-​staffed and keep things moving.
The selection is what I like best: a great variety of hot and iced coffees, with interesting offerings like Snickers and Mexican mocha. There are also red bull blends if you like that sort of thing. I may be addicted to their iced coffees now that the weather has turned warm.
The staff is super friendly and the interior is clean and new — even though you never leave your car, you can see your drink being made in a nice, clean environment. It’s a great stop.
