Dr. Robin Fuchs replaced my right knee one year ago and my left knee in December. What a difference it’s making in my life. Dr. Fuchs explained everything that would happen and what to expect. I am so glad I got this done now and that Dr. Fuchs was my surgeon. If I had a third knee, I wouldn’t choose anyone other than Dr. Fuchs.

My husband had knee surgery here. We were very happy with Dr MacCallister. He didn’t talk down to us at all. His assistant was friendly and answered all our questions. My husband hopes not to see them ever again Hope no more surgeries. Thanks

Shoulder Surgery Protocol
Doctors that preform shoulder replacement surgery do not address the risk of Pulmonary Embolism (blood clots). Most hospitals address this risk for any surgery while the patient is in the hospital. After the patient is released from the hospital it is the doctors responsibility to address this risk. If you are contemplating shoulder surgery and you ask your doctor the question! «Do you address the risk of Pulmonary Embolism after shoulder surgery»??? If the doctor ignores your question or the answer is no, don’t walk but run for the door and find a doctors who will address the problem. My wife and I did not ask this question and the doctor did not address this risk. The result was it cost my wife her life!

Met with Dr. Fuchs and he was very informative on my options for repairing my torn distal bicep tendon. Gave me both options and outlined all +‘s & -‘s for having or not having surgery. I never felt pressured and opted for surgical repair. I highly recommend them and endorse Dr. Fuchs and staff. Much love for treating me as more then a patient.

Unimpressed the medical assistance ruin the whole place

My experience with Proliance, the Evergreen Orthopedic Clinic, and Dr. Addison Stone is definitely NOT recommend amenable.
My experience and knowledge with spine procedures and spine care is above the average consumer. I have been through several spine surgeries. I have knowledge of bulging disc, irritating or compressing nerve root (s), bone spurs, stenosis, spondylitis, degenerative disc disease. I been through years of physical theraphy, chiropratic care, massage, rehabilitation, MRI’s, CT Scan’s, EMG, and myelogram.
Against my better judgment (instead of going to the emergency room), I waited, suffered through the pain, and went to my recommended Evergreen Orthopedic Clinic, Dr. Addison Stone appointment. Dr. Stone was more focus on my referral, occupation history (now retired) and apparently not my care. After a «brief» physical exam Dr. Stone recommended a previous procedure which had already been unsuccessful. Apparently he did not take the time to review my medical history. He attempting to quickly end the conversation. When attempting to question his recommendation I was quickly escorted out to the (no privacy) hallway to continue our medical discussion while reviewing my MRI images. I was questioning the area surrounding my herniated disc and his lack of empathy at the time amazed me. I quote «oh, that’s JUST arthritis on the bone». Well, yes, I know I have arthritis; spondylitis and/​or bone spurs. This is VERY PAINFUL not to mention the arthritis I am asking about is near/​on the herniated disc into the nerve!
I tried to give Evergreen Orthopedic Clinic the benefit of doubt and called their office manager explaining the situation. I agreed to speak with Dr. Stone’s MA, after explaining the recommended medical procedure had been previously unsuccessful, she stated the doctor stood my his recommendation. Folks I had NOT received the referral yet, and was able to give the MA information of the referring doctor (physician whom had done the previous unsuccessful procedure) I had been a patient of the referring doctor for at least ten years!
After losing all confidence in Evergreen Orthopedic Clinic and Dr. Stone I am currently looking for a new provider with exceptional medical care, a doctor with empathy for their patient, and doctor you trust your life with!
Folks I recommend to anyone when having a test; MRI, CT, X-​ray etc. ask the medical provider to mail you the reading additionally «some» providers will give you a disk of the images when you have completed the test. This will give you additional knowledge before going to any specialist, surgeon. If needed you can take the reading and/​or the images with you to an appointment.

I found Dr. McAllister and his staff to be very professional, educated, helpful, and encouraging. His medical assistant, Rebecca was always available to speak with about any concerns or questions I had through my total knee replacement and recovery. Dr. McAllister and his physician’s assistant, Jeff, also made themselves available to me when I needed them. I never felt rushed by Dr. McAllister, never felt he was being dismissive to me or my concerns, and always felt confident that he would take care of me to the best of his very competent abilities. I had my total knee replacement exactly 2 weeks ago, and I already went to work yesterday for a half day. No knee replacement is fun, but if you need to have one I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. McAllister. The methodology he uses includes computer assisted and minimally invasive techniques which result in a much smaller scar, no cut tendons or muscles (they instead are spread apart to allow for the smaller instruments) and a much quicker recovery.
As far as Dr McAllister’s alleged «talking down» to his assistant, I never witnessed anything like that and all of his staff seem to adore him, and several made the point of telling me so when he was out of the room.

I had the best experience at Evergreen Orthopedic Clinic. Unfortunately, I had an accident and found out I broke my ankle after I went to Swedish Urgent Care. The doctor there said I need to get to an Orthopedic Surgeon the next day due to the nature of the fracture. I called a few places and everyone was booked solid for three days. Dr. Clinton’s nurse, Tricia, called me back the same day and squeezed me in for an appointment the same day within an hour of her call. I was very pleased to be seen on such short notice. At the appointment, I met Tricia, who is delightful, competent and helpful. Then Dr. Clinton came in to talk to me about my fracture. She was extremely knowledgeable, kind, caring and spot on with her diagnosis. She truly cared about me, my injury, and what the best treatment options were for me. We scheduled surgery for her next surgery day which was four days away. In the meantime, she set me up with a boot and I went on my way. Tricia, another nurse, the anesthesiologist and the scheduler ALL followed up with me about my appointment for surgery. The wonderful communication and caring I received helped put my mind at ease about the surgery. I went in for surgery and met two other nurses, Linda and Jenna. They were awesome! They joked with me, made me feel at home and were always checking on me. The anesthesiologist, Dr. Chan, met with me as well and he was very thorough and kind and answered all my silly questions. Finally I was ready for surgery and met with Dr. Clinton. Next thing I know, I woke up feeling just fine and was not in any pain. Dr. Clinton checked on me and answered all my questions and was very caring and professional. After I went home, Dr. Clinton and Jenna both called me to see how I was doing! It was such a nice feeling knowing that they cared and made the effort to check in on me. I had the BEST surgery experience I have ever had and I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Clinton and her staff for any surgical procedure. Right now I am relaxing at home and feeling pretty great for having surgery less than 24 hours ago. I can’t say enough good things about their office. I am floored by how professional and kind they all are. I’m a bit perplexed on the other reviewers’ accusations and responses. As for me, I would HIGHLY recommend everyone I worked with for my surgery. THANK YOU DR. CLINTON, TRICIA, JENNA, AND LINDA for making a not-​so-​good experience the BEST experience it could possibly be.

Dr. Camille Clinton did surgery on a torn meniscus for me. She did a perfect job diagnosing and repairing the injury. The nursing staff in the recovery room inappropriately gave me narcotics, which I am allergic to and had a RED arm band on, indicating that I should NOT receive narcotics. MY preparation of anti-​nausea prescription meds saved me from suffering the side effects of the narcotics but, that was something I arranged, NOT Proliance! Rehab was completely unhelpful. I researched recovery and found that a recumbent bike was a good option for rehab. It worked wonders and I’m doing great.
Dr. Samuel Koo performed shoulder cuff surgery on my husband. Again the surgery was extremely well done, HOWEVER, the pre & post operative care were a NIGHTMARE! The office staff is completely UNMOTIVED and are very, very poor communicators. My husband was nearly overdosed with narcotics, suffered a staph infection near the incision site, and had mystery foot swelling, all which landed him back in the dr’s office and the ER because we had no idea what was happening to him. We relied on his primary care physician to support the staph infection recovery, an independent PT to support rehab (Chris Wong), and an emergency room Dr. to understand the post operative swelling and excessive narcotics.
We found the support, administrative, and reception staff to be cool and indifferent. They had to be pushed HARD to be motived to be helpful. The call-​in hold music is a horror and the waiting room broadcasts unwanted television programming to EVERYONE but, clearly is there to entertain the reception staff.
BOTTOM LINE: Go here for good surgery BUT, BUT, BUT have your primary care physician queued up for support and obtain their pharmaceutical advice in advance. Find PT support elsewhere and research it for yourself.

I had an excellent experience here. I saw Dr. Clinton after seeing another physician for my knee problem. She took the time to explain my injury to me so that I could really understand it and then explain what both surgical and non-​surgical options I had. I ended up having surgery and am now doing great.

My husband suffered for over a year and half with spinal stenosis and 3 bulging disks! My husbands primary care doctor referred him first to a quack at some other office. After a year and some months, of him not DOING ANYTHING, we demanded that we get referred to another clinic. He referred him to a spine specialist up in Everett, who does not do surgery. One look at my husband and he said, YOU NEED SURGERY! Yeah, other than the MRI and my husband not being able to barley walk… you wonder why the other doctor couldn’t figure it out! Dr. Weaver the spinal non surgeon specialist referred us to Dr. Mark Freeborn. Hello… prayers answered!!! This doctor and his physicians assistant Ann, are the BEST! We have had zero problems with the office. My husband had surgery that lasted 2.5 hours, and he came out of the recovery room, no surprise with a zero pain level. Two hours later, zero pain level, 8 hours later, zero pain level, 2 days later zero pain level! It’s amazing to watch my beloved husband stand and walk without pain! I am so thankful and grateful for Dr. Freeborn and Evergreen Orthopedic Clinic as well as Evergreen Hospital! You guys are awesome! Thank you for giving my husband his quality of life back!

I have to agree with most of the review of this place. My mom broke her ankle and we when here to see Dr. Freeborn. He is OK but need to work on him time management like most doctors. One time we waited two hours in the room before he saw us. We been book also on the wrong schedule twice in the last two months and when we showed up the doctor was not there. Thank god we don’t have to go here for very much longer. Oh and I been on hold right now for over 15 min just to book and appointment.

I went in for a knee injury a few months ago and have since seen two doctors on staff there. One of which was retiring and barely interested in my injury at the time. The second doctor (Camille Clinton) was who I then preferred to see due to her Bio on the website. She was as helpful as I guess she could be due to the unknown actual injury. I cant say whether or not she is a bad physician because I dont think she actually is, I am just disappointed that my pain was not well managed or diagnosed. I have spent TOO much money since being hurt, so being told by a few doctors that they dont know what is necessarily wrong, is disheartening and frustrating.
Beyond that, the staff is great. Front desk is friendly. I am a cash-​pay patient too, so I was mostly relieved that my visits didnt cost more than 150 $ each time out of pocket.
