Salix Juanita Village

Great complex and people that work here are great as well! Kelly gave us a great move in special. The complex is a little bit more expensive then what we planed but we love our place. We had a work order and it was taken care of next day by Jasur who did a great job.
The only cons we have is the noise in the area especially in the morning (trash).

Daniel really makes the Salix property shine! Sparkling clean and smelling good.
His work ethics always exceed 110%. He always goes one step beyond expectations of his duties.
Daniel is kind, respectful to all residents.
You can surely tell Daniels day off.
Greystar management would benefit to recognize Daniels wonderful customer service efforts.
It be wise to implement this winning behavior through out the company!!!

We’ve been here for half a year now and, overall, we’re pleased. I’m in the «E» building (which is the one above the gym, as opposed to the one above the leasing office.)
The good:
No noise issues from other apartments, service requests are resolved within a day (and we’ve also gotten follow-​up calls, which I appreciate.)
Reasonably well-​equipped gym that’s large enough even at peak times.
Pretty cheap underground parking, especially compared to what I’ve had to pay for outdoor parking elsewhere — I’ve never found it full at night, but the really good spaces seem to be taken by people who rarely drive, so as a commuter I’d say a reserved spot is necessary.
Floor plans aren’t particularly exciting but are sane — no weird nooks or other wastes of square footage.
Pet friendly and no trouble so far with aggressive or otherwise poorly behaved pets. (There’s a bit more poop than I care for but it’s in the pet relief area, not somewhere I’d actually step.)
The front desk team and service teams have been easy to deal with and there’s an online portal to handle rent, utilities, and requests.
The less good:
There’s a bit of road noise and obnoxious stereos in the summer — the windows stop it, but there’s no A/​C or ceiling fan so that’s not an option, of course. The Starbucks across the street leaves all of its lights on all the time — seriously enough light to read by. Put together, I’d recommend one of the courtyard-​facing apartments if the option is available.
Elevator wait time was sometimes awful but we figured it out — move-​ins were locking the elevator and not returning the keys /​turning off exclusive mode. The front desk team was able to handle it and apologized.
Front desk (and therefore the ability to get packages) closes at 6pm and isn’t open on Sunday. Entry to the building is via NFC tag or via call box; there’s no entry code, so Amazon Fresh requires attended delivery, etc. Additional NFC tags and keys are only available to people on the lease — it’s possible to have an approved list who can sign out keys at the front desk, but those keys need to be returned before the desk closes for the day.
I’m personally not a fan of most of the food options within walking distance, nor is there a supermarket; pretty solid options are a short drive away but due to the layout of Juanita it can be difficult to escape during rush hour.

I’ve been here for 1 year and we have recently renewed our lease.
My wife loves it, awesome staff, quality apartments and location, oh man, location is just priceless, restaurants, sbux, juanita beach and Kirkland downtown 5 min driving.
The only thing I have to say is the pet station is always with dog poop, however, I really can’t blame management for that, there’s always lazy people that does not clean up after their pets, not much management can do here I guess.
Anyway, would I recommend this?, yeap, definitely. It is a great place to live.

I’ve been here 5 months and I have nothing but good things to say about the place. The apts compare favorably on price and quality to other buildings in the area, and I like the quiet view I have of a courtyard with a nice garden. The management team has also been very responsive to a couple of minor repair requests with a smoke alarm and a leaky faucet.
I recommend Salix Juanita Village without hesitation.
