Ok work. Agree with rudeness. Makes me feel like he is doing the customer a favor by working on stuff. Used him two times as like giving work to small businesses but not here again

I have been going to him for years. He greets you as you walk in even when he’s with a client to acknowledge your presence. You get what you pay for and each time I leave completely satisfied with the results. Sometimes it’s best not to cut corners.

Very, very rude. The man was aggressive and rude. I would NOT recommend this business. In fact, I now plan on telling my friends to avoid this tailor due to the attitude of the man. I would rate this a 0 if I could.

The tailor here is pretty old school and low tech. He does a good job but he’s not going to pamper you.

I took two pairs of Dockers in to be hemmed. The cost was $ 18 per pair. The actual job was ok but the man used tan thread on my green pair of pants. It was as if matching thread was not a part of the proces.

I needed a quick turnaround for a trip out of town.
Seven Tailors was able to accommodate my tight schedule.
I would definitely recommend them.

When I would go in, Boris always did a good job.

I had to tighten the bust area of my prom dress. He did a good job but I wish it was tighter. It was $ 25 which was reasonable. I can see how he could seem rude but he was kinda funny

I found the tailor was rude. I was very unsatisfied with the work he did. I actually question if he even did any work on the sleeves. He did not give me my a receipt. Never again.

I have a stack of 12 shorts that need ¾″ hem. The nature of the short requires the original hem line to remain the same, just a narrower hem. I took one pair for a trial run, and was later told by friends that his $ 17 charge should have been $ 10-​$ 12. He did a fine job, however I had hoped he’d fold over the hem twice, not just once, leaving a rough edge exposed on the inside of the shorts. I’m an alterations newb so didn’t know what was to be expected.
I took 2 more pair to him, and he did the double fold this time, so the hem was nicer on the inside (he did this without my asking or bring it up, so that was good, but I’m not sure why the difference…). However, one of the pairs was a darker shade of fabric, and while he got one side of the stitching perfect, he used a brown that looked horrible with the shorts (on the side that showed!). I pointed out the error, and he said it was the same color. I had to gently argue with him to get him to agree that indeed he used two different colors.
Now, it wasn’t me. I am easy going, easy to please. Either his eye sight is going, or he knew they were different and he just didn’t feel like fixing it.
In either case, I noticed that he must have caught the fabric with his seam ripper as a small area under the seam was frayed. Essentially, the shorts won’t last due to this rip that I believe he put there.
In the end, the tailor did finally reluctantly offer to redo it with the proper thread, but said that it wasn’t a big deal and no one would notice the thread, and clearly did not want to have to redo his work. Well, I would have noticed the ugly thread… ever time I wore them. I took the shorts and left, I don’t want to have to fight for what I want when I pay a higher than usual price for a service, I want the tailor to want to do it right the first time, and have enough pride in his work that if I’m not satisfied, he’s not. Is that asking too much?
I won’t be going back. He was nice enough, and I hate to knock a man doing business for himself, but this is what happened to me. I had only the one other review to go by from his «long time customer» who has nothing but nice things to say about him. In my hunt for another tailor, I’d appreciate more than the scant reviews I am finding.

I have been using this shop for many, many years. I buy many suits and other clothes online and then take the items here to get the fit right. The guy who runs it is a Russian man who lived in New York for thirteen years, and now has been in Kirkland for thirteen years. He does a great job, and I have always been very happy with his work. He also has consignment here, so if you have a teen age son who may need a suit, but will grow out of it in 3 months check out what he has. You may be able to save some real cash in the consignment stuff.
Tailors are hard to find! Here is a good one!
If you stand at the back door (street) to Taco Del Mar you will see this shop across the street, it’s easy to miss… so look for it.
