Solaro Painting

I hired David and his team to paint a second bedroom in my home. It was a bright blue from a previous owner, and I wanted to change it to a very light grey.
David provided a rough estimate over the phone and offered to come and look at the space to provide an exact quote. His quote was very reasonable and included multiple coats of paint to cover up the bright blue. David worked to coordinate around my ever-​changing work schedule and had the job completed within the week and in just a few hours.
David’s team was very professional, courteous and did a great job! No paint drips on the trim, nor floor. I am somewhat of a perfectionist and I could not find a single imperfection. Looks GREAT!

Didn’t go with Solaro b/​c their bid was 30% greater than two other bids we received. Went with Nickerson painting instead.

The board at our condo complex hired Solaro to paint our buildings and to be completely honest, I’d be hard-​pressed to find a single good thing to say about their work. First off, the colors they used aren’t even the colors the board had chosen. This was a major disappointment considering the board gave them the approved color samples. They left various paint splatters on the the buildings, they didn’t sand down the front doors before they painted them as instructed, they used a very light layer of paint on most everything, and to top it all off, they even got white paint spray on an owner’s black BMW. In short, a sloppy job that will have to be re-​done at the condo owners expense. NOT recommended under any circumstance.

David Solaro and his team did an excellent job when painting the exterior of our home. The crew is very detail-​oriented and will go out of their way to do things right, while Dave himself is a good communicator, very professional, and a pleasure to work with.
We also found him to be very fair and reasonably priced.

We recommend David Solaro for all of our painting requests, we are a General Contractor (Nordic Improvements) and we have not had one complaint of the quality of services David provides. He is well priced and very professional.
