They just couldn’t get it together, too bad. It was covenant when they would show up to the office. Cookies were great and loved the chicken curry on croissant. They took away tuna pasta salad which I enjoyed and definitely needed more salad dressing in salads. Prices went up but quality and service plummeted. I don’t buy from tjs and I don’t think they come to our office anymore. Missed opportunity on their part, farewell.

Dear TJ’s, I appreciate that you come by my office daily especially when I have forgotten to bring my lunch. I’ve only tried the salads but the sandwiches look great! However please provide more dressing, half the salad gets left because there isn’t enough. Please tear the lettuce into smaller pieces. Some are almost a whole leaf! And please use real bacon bits for the cobb. Those all chemical fake BB’s are gross. Thanks TJ’s!

TJ’s of Kirkland is a sandwich store that comes to the local business parks, like the one I work at. They are wrapped sandwiches, and in the years that I’ve bought them, they’ve generally been tasty and filling. Best of all, they are cheap. TJ’s going to get get bad reviews because they aren’t high end sandwiches. We live in a high-end food/coffee, lux-everything town, so they are going to naturally fly under the radar. They don’t have Boar’s head meat, or brand name bread. But, I’m never gotten a non-crispy piece of lettuce or cabbage(on the wraps). I like them, esp. for the price, small to medium-small size and flavor. They recently raised the prices on their meat-containing sandwiches from $ 5 to $ 5.50. That’s still a bargain. Veggie sandwiches used to be $ 3, and I don’t know what they are now. I’m giving them 4.5 stars because I wish that they were cut in half before they were wrapped. They can be messy to eat, and I’ve learned to cut them if I don’t want sauce all over my keyboard-typing hands. I’m rounding them up to 5, because they’ve come through for me so many times that I didn’t have time to make a lunch, or go out. I’m so glad that they’re here. For comparison… once per week, a couple of food trucks stop by our campus and sell good food. But, it’s annoying. It’s expensive, unhealthy(I sit at a desk all day, so I don’t need big food) and most of all, it take forever to get food at these things. That’s why TJ’s is a big deal to me.

This place sells its food items to other vendors in the Seattle area which I get it from a store in my building. I used to love the Taco Wrap. It had, lettuce, cheese, seasoned chicken meat, and a taco sauce packet. Now, they make it with cabbage. Why? Because cabbabe is cheaper than lettuce? The wraps used to be good, now there is little meat, and TONS of CABBAGE. I would have given them more stars, but the switch to cabbage, and over use of it, got them downgraded.

So, I must admit I only know of this place from the sandwich paddy wagon that visits the Eastside business parks. I cannot speak to the physical location, but definitely can speak to the food. This stuff is very good. There is a wide array of fresh made sandwiches with very primo ingredients including handmade mayo(pesto, sun dried tomato, etc). The lettuce is always crisp and not soggy, and the meat always tastes like they sliced it that day. Their pasta salads have been good in my experience, and have the same fresh appeal. This is a great lunch option, and even better if they are coming to the door of your office for lunch!
