Best pizza and I’ve eaten A LOT of pizza all over the US. We loved it. Stopped by randomly and couldn’t believe how tasty it was. We asked our waiter(Peter) for suggestions and he listened to what we liked and provided great options. We will be coming back!

Took friends visiting from my home – hawaii and although we were loud as we didn’t see each other for 20years! This place served good food. A good place to have a date for 2 and lunch. We were there for Dinner. Food amazing, the wine was great and dessert, my friend wanted spumoni, not on the menu and our server delivered! A memorable evening!

So we walked in here on a whim, and without any doubt it was a major, major let down. First off, when we were sat down, I was surprised at how empty the restaurant was for how busy it should have been(6pm on a Friday with busy sidewalks and long waits at other restaurants nearby) I honestly can’t remember what it was that I ordered, but it was very poorly prepared, unappealingly plated, and included food items I have an allergy to, after having made my food allergy not only known, but a focal point of the ordering. The server, who wouldn’t offer their name(even at our request) was very audacious to make racist remarks which were inappropriate and uncalled for, after accusing me of cultural appropriation, but only after I made a complaint. I was very pleased that there was a short line at Wendy’s after we left.

My girlfriends and I came here last Sunday for appetizers and drinks after my best friend’s wedding dress came into a shop around the corner. We were full of excitement after seeing her wedding dress for the first time which was quickly deflated by the terrible service we received at Vista Lago. Our waiter, Peter D., acted as if we were the biggest inconveniences to him. The energy exuded was that of distain and he treated us as if we were bothersome. Took about 15 minutes before we got our beverages after waiting about 10 minutes for him to actually come back and ask if we would like something to drink. Food was decent but for how we were treated it was absolutely ridiculous. I understand that people have bad days but to us it seemed as if because we had a party of 6 he knew he was getting his 20% gratuity so why would he waste a second of pleasantry when he didn’t have to actually do anything for a tip. Very disappointed overall, we will be back to get her dress sized and won’t be going back.

First two times with our dog were lovely. We sat outside on the patio with the rest of the patio diners. Third time, we were treated like lepers. Not good enough for the patio and relegated to a table far removed from the rest. Waitress cordial but unsmiling and obviously wanted us gone as soon as possible. If you’re going to advertise as being dog friendly, BEDOGFRIENDLY, and don’t turn your nose at dogs’ humans. Pretension and snobbery are uncalled for, and you’re not that special. You lost us as customers. Change your dog friendly status since you’re anything but.

Enjoyed a lovely, romantic dinner on the patio here the other week. Our server was fantastic and the plein air seating overlooking Lake Washington was divine. We shared some bruschetta, penne rose, and Ravioli. All were very tasty(lots of garlic– but I like that!) and arrived pretty quickly. The wine list wasn’t much to look at, but what they do feature is solid, well-known and mostly local. My only complaint is I wish they had patio heaters or at least some candles on the tables for when the sun goes down. Come during the summer months and sit on the patio for sure!

My mouth still has that stinky feet taste in it. I ordered the Linguini Gorgonzola with Pistachios. I’m absolutely positive it was made with Bleu cheese not Gorgonzola. We had to beg for a basket of bread with our meal and asked 3 times to have the candle on our table lit. The customer service was terrible. You should not feel neglected when the server only has three tables in the entire restaurant to wait on. Granted my wine was good and my kids’ pizza was delicious… I was super disappointed in our dinner at Vista Lago.

Perhaps this place is better known for its pizzas because we weren’t super crazed about the food. It was decent, don’t get me wrong, but we most likely will not return. It’s dimly lit and has a quaint, romantic atmosphere. But you can kind of smell the bathrooms as you walk past them to get to your table. The good: The bread tasted freshly baked and was warm and yummy. The calamari was not your typical deep-fried and greasy, but was the meat itself served in a lovely red sauce. Our server was pleasant. The bad: I got the seafood linguini and kept running into grains of sand. It happens occasionally when eating shellfish and seafood, but this was more than any seafood meal I’ve ever had and really ruins an eating experience. The menu mentioned«homemade croutons» on the salad, but they were definitely from a bag. My husband’s white sauce quickly separated into a puddle of oil which kind of put him off his appetite. We were one of 3 total couples in the restaurant(and the only ones there by the end) and they still got some things wrong — I asked for dressing on the side for the salad, my husband asked for his drink on the rocks and they didn’t get those right.

I don’t normally write reviews. This experience warranted it. I was having drinks at Flatstick Pub(highly recommend) and wanted some food so I ordered a pizza to go from vista lago. This was my first experience at the restaurant and the food was okay… pepperoni Italian thin crust. Didn’t think highly of it but pizza was worth 3 stars for a $ 15 price tag, but some of their other items might be better. I checked my bank statement and realized I was charged a dollar more than what the check was for — no big deal in terms of actual amounts, but I don’t think people should be charging you something different than what I agreed to pay for(call me crazy). I called the shop and spoke to the individual and let him know the situation and got a bit of attitude that is was«only a dollar» and he can«bring me a dollar bill if it is that big of a deal.» At that point I was a bit agitated because all I was asking for was a simple refund of $ 1. The individual eventually texted me with a photo of the receipt and said he messed up and asked if I would like a refund and I told him I would. A week later, no refund actually came and I have to call my bank to dispute the charge. Its sad this situation came up because I love Italian food and this place shows promise for authentic Italian food, but I wont be going back.

Great little Italian Bistro near the gazebo parking lot in Kirkland. We are always seated in the back room near the big screen tv. We love that our waiter always turns it off for a nice romantic environment. We had a few couples get together for the evening. Very impressive service throughout the meal. Mark(our waiter) kept an eye on our table and provided drinks, bread and food throughout the evening without us even feeling interrupted by his presence. Never an empty wine or water glass. So nice that he helped us serve our bottles of wine. An impressive selection of Italian Wines, BTW. We are trying to work our way through the delectable menu Love the diversity of the selections. We started off with the Calamari Tirrenia and then the Fettucini al Frutti di Mare and the Orecchiette Funghi for our entrees. All delicious and good to the lap bite as usual. The only input to the owner is that we need DARKCHOCOLATE as a dessert option please! Will absolutely be back!

Super yum classic American Italian fare! This was our dinner spot on a girl’s night on recommendation of a local bartender and we were so pleased! We sat outside where you have a view of Marina Park. The vibe is causal and relaxed. There are plenty of Classic Italian dishes to choose from. We chose a rigatoni pasta with a pink sauce and the chicken Parmesan to share. Both were solid and left us wanting more! The service was fantastic and friendly. We purchased a bottle of wine at the wine shop next door so our corkage fee was discounted which was great! Overall great choice tonight! We will be repeat visitors, no doubt!

Good thing Vista Lago has patio seating, because it doesn’t have much else going for it. I can’t speak to the food, just beer/wine, but service was basically non-existent considering we were only 1 of 2 occupied tables. I hate to see what it’s like when it’s busy…

The best thing this place has going for them is the location and service. The food wasn’t knock your socks off good. Just pretty normal. Good sized portions: enough for lunch the next day. was fun going here on a sunny weekday evening, enjoying dinner outside on their cute patio I’d love to go back one evening for homemade dessert and coffee.

Pretty mediocre all around. The food was plain; not bad, but nothing special and certainly priced above it’s quality. They don’t bring bread or anything. My friend’s chicken was completely raw on the inside, so she ate after we had already finished our meals after they remade her food. They didn’t discount her meal or offer her anything to make up for that. I was not impressed.

Visited on a fantastic beautiful day. Lasagna was terrible. Overlooked and covered in cheese to cover over the taste. They also forgot my wife’s pizza and 40 minutes it arrives. Didn’t comp it. Overpriced and poor service. Avoid it.

The only reason this place gets one star is because the Gorgonzola sauce was good. I don’t usually complain but today I should of. We ordered off the happy hour menu $ 10 pizza and $ 10 orecchiette. I ordered a Stella. 1) 10 minutes after ordering my beer my server nonchalantly set my beer down and states he had to top my Stella off with another beer because the keg ran out then walked away. Um excuse me? I drank the beer and kept my mouth shut not to cause any trouble. 2) when he delivered our food he placed the pasta down which was clearly regular spaghetti noodles and goes«I know this is wrong but it’s okay, right? Or do you want me to take it back» IMSORRYBUTINWHATWORLDISTHATOKAY. I use to serve and I would NEVER bring my table the wrong dish and ask if it’s okay. That’s so awkward. We didn’t want our food to get messed with so we just said it was fine. Orecchiette is a specific pasta NOWHERENEAR similar to regular spaghetti noodles 3) and not best for last — as I’m drinking my beer I notice tan build up on the bottom of my glass. As I examine closer it appeared to be build up from them clearing the Stella keg. They obviously don’t properly clean their lines between kegs. I felt incredibly ill at that point and just wanted to go I have never in my life not tipped but my server was MIA90% of our visit. Never asking how our food was. He did refill waters okay but even a busser can do that. I’m sad to say that patio is going to waste with this place.

Nice little restaurant in the back facing the parking lot at the Kirkland waterfront. The good part about facing that way is that the sun is right on you! It’s a nice home like feeling to visit when it’s little and classy. The service was excellent and friendly. Very polite and courteous. Also the waiter knew a lot about the menu, drinks, and pretty much everything else! I ordered the Cesar salad and vongole e cozze. The salad was refreshing and tasted good. The vongole was also very good and the sauce was amazing. Perfect with that toasted bread pieces they give. The cozze however was very ocean tasting. Kind of musky dirty salt water. Not that great of a quality which also gave the sauce that same flavor. Next time I am ordering it with only the clams. The drinks were fun and flavorful. Note that they can make ginger flavor by hand which is much better than any ginger beer or ginger ale. We had no reservations but were promptly served and had a great time. Thanks!

Okay experience. The waiter seemed genuinely stymied when I asked for butter for the bread. He said he didn’t know how they could accommodate me because they only used butter for cooking, and it was refrigerated and not suitable for table use. Didn’t know what to say to that so I just kind of threw up my arms. He brought a little container of butter and it worked fine so I’m not sure why he was dismayed, except I may have not been continental enough. The filet was good, as was the chicken Parmesan. Weak link was the calamari appetizer that looked and tasted like it was served in ketchup.

The food was outstanding… I enjoyed every single dish. From calamari, pasta, bread, pizza, and mussels. The waiter was very attentive! By the lake in kirkland. I miss living there so much. If I ever crave for Italian food. I will be heading to this joint for a romantic. Family evening

I can’t really speak for the food because I just had one appetizer. Mozzarella and prosciutto and a special request for olives to be specific. It was OK. Fresh mozzarella is always nice, but better as a caprese IMHO. I wish they had a more firm cheese that would have gone better with the prosciutto. The bread and olive oil was good though. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco. Unfortunately, the selection was limited to almost nothing. The wine list was slightly better but not by much. Although, the bottle came chilled, the waiter just placed our bottle on the table instead of bringing us a bucket of ice. We had to ask for the bucket. I’d assume this would be a given being Prosecco is meant to be consumed chilled and it was a hot summer afternoon. Apparently not. The positive was being able to sit on the patio during one of our short lived Seattle… or I guess in this case Kirkland summer days, sipping on a nice glass of Prosecco while people watching. Another positive would be the hostess. She was nice, sweet and friendly. Greeted us upon arrival and before we left. Expected but nonetheless a nice touch.
