I’ve been coming here for years and I had the worst experience ever. Came in to wash some blankets and saw two Chinese men trying to figure out using the machine. They were trying to use the big commercial washer washer with only few t shirts and a pair of pants so I showed them they can use the small washer which is much cheaper. I was showing them how to us the machine and this worker (Vietnamese lady) starts to yell at me and starts to tell me I can’t talk to the customer and not allowed to help someone??? And threatens me to take my wash out and kick me out for helping someone because she wasn’t because she was too busy watching something on her phone… I know she is not the owner and she is telling me that she is… No Words… me and my family will never come back here. I have relatives who owns dry cleaners around this area who come here to wash their blankets…

The management /​staff of this place is cruel and un-​kind to customers, I have witnessed this multiple times. Today I witnessed an insane yelling match that went on for over 25 minutes between «Louie L» (see below) and the staff. The staff has been abusive to me also here. I don’t know how customer are meant to be treated or if laundering clothes is such a desperate activity but this is not how people should be treated in the Seattle area or any other city. Yes, they have machines, yes they work — but you can expect to be treated like a 4^th class citizen and potentially abused verbally.
And the parking is always horrible too.

The laundromat itself is fine. It’s the lady working there that is having me wishing & hoping I never have to return. Just completely unpleasant, rude, unhelpful & mean. I’ve never experienced anything like her & I can honestly say I don’t think I would return if I knew she would be there.

I go to this place frequently, and had a minor issue before with the lady behind the counter when I needed some change turned into quarters, she told me that she could not because she doesn’t have that many in a aggressive manner as if I should have had quarters. Now today, literally less than five minutes ago (I’m writing this while sitting waiting for my clothes to dry). I notice a customer (a lady) needed help and asked the worker/​owner a question, the owner became loud and aggressive again, the lady remained calm and an argument ensued, the worker/​owner kept interrupting the woman who wanted to finish what she was saying, but became louder and began pointing her finger and asked the woman to take her items from the dryer and leave. Then she came to my area of the store and say «these crazy people». Since when does someone who runs a business not understand CUSTOMER SERVICE. No matter what is being said, you can politely ask a customer to leave without pointing finger and speaking unprofessionally. The owner is rationalizing her actions as «the customer was too sensative». News flash — it doesn’t matter how sensative a customer is, you don’t yell at customers and call them crazy, especially in front of other customers. Why do I have to give a lesson on Unilocal about ethical business practices. Customers come in all different shapes, sizes, perspectives, attitudes, personalities. That said, as a business in a local community, you operate with consistency in a respectful, professional, and curteous manner. Poor practices we shouldn’t have to put up with. Now the customer left and she continues to rationalize her behavior toward that customer with other customers; just sickening. To the owner: no matter the picture you try to paint to other customers or yourself, you do not act that way toward any customer, no matter what, you dont interrupt, you dont point your finger at a customer, you dont call customers crazy, and you sure as hell dont yell at them; you have to be the bigger person and kill them with kindness, there are ways to ask someone to leave nicely. Thats the foundation of ‘very’ successful businesses. I should be charging you a consulting fee for this information. I will be looking for another place to do laundry going forward.

I went early in the day when it was almost completely empty. I was the only one using their extra large load washing machine. I left to run an errand and I came back an hour after the load was completed. The attendant had taken my comforter out and thrown it in a basket that was less than clean. When I asked her why she did that, she said someone came in needing to use ALL of the extra large load washing machines — ALL 9 of them! When I returned, there was only one extra large load washing machine running. Also, there were only a couple of dryers running. What she told me did not make any sense at all. I won’t be returning and I won’t be recommending this place.

It’s a pretty solid place. Cost is roughly five dollars for a huge load you can get a decent sized one for 2.50. Dryers are a reasonable 1 dollar every 16 minutes. They have a lot of machines and the place is pretty decent. It’s not modern by any means so don’t expect television or wifi but on the Eastside I guess they expect everyone to have a washer and dryer. If you don’t have change don’t freak out they have a change machine and if you need to use a debit or credit card they only charge you one dollar. Plenty of parking here too.
Hint: use the washers designed for bigger loads they really clean your clothes well. It’s worth the money just bring a big load so you get your money’s worth.

It’s a laundromat. It seems clean enough. So far it’s doing a fine job on my comforters. No televisions, no vending machines, attendants seem nice enough. It is what it is. Glad I don’t have to always do my laundry here. If I did, I’d need a laundro-​bar.

Pricey place. Four load sized washers are
five dollars to use. Large driers are 25 cents for four minutes. It took at least 40 minutes to dry my small down comforter. And this was on high heat.
Would not come again.

It was my first visit yesterday and I am pretty happy with my experience here. I already took a few quarters with me since washing cycle is 5 $/​cycle and drying is a quarter for 4 mins. Since I had a little idea how to run it, the guy stationed there helped me with how to do my stuff. Number of machines are plenty and they are all in good shape. I wish they had some more chairs, games, magazines or TV in the waiting area. However I come here to get the work done, so I brought my own book. I would definitely come here again.

Seems a little pricey but the washers and dryers can hold huge loads. There are a lot of them and they seem well maintained. Although it was busy when we came in, there were plenty of machines available and we were able to dry our load of laundry in about 20 minutes.
Although we rarely have to use a commercial laundry, it is great that there is still this option. We had to use it when the power went out in our apartment for the entire day (power outage occurred mid load too).

Pricey for a load of laundry. $ 5 for a front load machine (not the commercial size) and $ 2.50 for the standard. Machines are well maintained, however. $.25 for 4 minutes on the dryer, but they hear up well and only have costed me .$ 75 for a complete dry load. I’ll be happy when my washer and dryer are replaced at home. This trip has nearly costed $ 20 for 3 loads of laundry washed and dried.

As far as laundromats go, this one is the best in the area. I drove to multiple locations and was relieved when I found this one. After my washer broke, I had a ton of laundry to do. I was able to get it done within half an hour. I was also happily relieved that they the lady at the counter will let you withdraw cash for the coin-​operated machines. Sure, it had a 1 $ fee associated with it but seriously, I just wanted the whole ordeal over with.
Dryers were 25 cents for 4 minutes, and they dry pretty well. The place is mostly clean, almost all machines are working. Not crowded, and there are places to sit and laundry carts available to help you move your laundry.

I’ve been to a lot of laundrymats and I think that this one is well kept, good customer service, and close to lots of other things so I can continue to go about my day. I came here to wash all my comforters, before you knew it I already spent 25 it can be pretty expensive but all worth it and I will be back to this location again

The attendant was super nice! Place was clean. Enough washer and dryers for the amount of business. 4.25 for a double washer. I didn’t use the dryers but I would definitely go back there again!

I just came back and it was fast. My washer is not working but my dryer is so I only used the commercial washer one and it was 4.75. Twenty minutes later I was back in my car and driving home. It was clean and the girl behind the counter was super nice. I brought my own detergent. Thanks.

When your 30±year-old washer suddenly goes on strike, it’s time to saddle up and head for the laundromat. Waves of Suds is reasonably near my place and open at workable hours, so off I went.
I visited in mid-​afternoon, before people started getting home from work, and things were pretty quiet — only a half-​dozen customers. There’s an attendant on the premises, a change machine and a laundry products dispenser if you forgot to bring the Tide. This is the first laundromat I’ve visited where the majority of machines were in good working condition. You have your choice of standard washers, high-​efficiency washers or the ultra-​huge commercial washers that can handle big items like blankets and quilts. At the time of this writing, the cost to operate a standard washer is $ 2.50; the commercial washers are $ 5.00.
Can’t tell you anything about the dryers, since I didn’t use them (my home dryer works, at least for the time being). Overall, I can think of worse ways to kill 20 minutes.

If you ever find yourself sulking around a laundrymat because your W/​D is down, you could do worse than here.
I had NO idea how expensive it’s gotten to do laundry since my college days … 19 Quarters ($ 4.75) just to wash one load if you want it done in 20 minutes. The driers are good, but they will cost ya as well.
We are able to get in/​out in under usually in 1.5 hours w/​5 loads of laundry but we usually spend $ 40 doing it using the good machines.

First off, this isn’t the best place to go to, but the service and machines make up the difference.
Here’s a breakdown on prices:

One thing to note is the older washers can do a load in as little as 20 minutes, while the newer washes can do the same in 40 minutes. They cost the same and the only difference is quality of cleaning. If you have nice or fine garments, use the new washers, as they provide a gentler wash.
If you’re running late (Suds closes at 8pm, last wash load by 6:30pm) you can drop off your clothes and Suds will finish the job for you at an inflated cost. Costs vary, so contact them for more info.
I think this place gets a bad rap because most people aren’t laundromat folks. The lady behind the counter was quick to answer any questions and when I became confused when using a machine for the first time, I looked at her and before speaking she said «Press the Start button.» It may sound derpy, but the stacked dryers are not the most user friendly, and you’re time (from money insterted) doesn’t show up on the dryer until you press start. And the place is very clean and remains that way throughout the day.
I always come here and do around 5 – 7 loads and leave in two hours. I don’t know about you but as a busy person, it’s a great luxury. If they didn’t close so early, I’d give them 5 stars.

Was severely disappointed when I called and asked how late they were open. She stated 8, but that if I could make it in time, I could do a rinse cycle, which was fine, since that’s all I needed. I arrived at 7:40, plenty of time to rinse and spin, and she then informed me that it was too late, because the last load was to go in at 6:30, and all she had left for me to rinse my clothes in was the most expensive machine. It’s really too bad there aren’t more laundromats in Kirkland, since I REALLY don’t want to visit her again.
