China Palace is amazing. They sprinkle drugs on the food so you get addicted… that good, i recommend the pepper steak, peanut chicken, teriyaki chicken and lo mein. Cheap, tasty, flavorful, memorable…

Hummm — this place has been in Kirksville for a long time. Friends ordered delivery when we were there for dinner. NOTGOOD. Delivery took over one hour longer than they said on the phone. After two follow-up calls to find out where the food was, it arrived 1 ½ hours after it was ordered. The food was just about cold and real mediocre to boot. Not edible. Would not suggest this to anyone. Nasty food and poor service.

I love this place! There’s always a big debate about which Chinese place on the square is better, and I’m definitely on Team China Palace. Granted it’s your run-of-the-mill Americanized Chinese food, but I love it; the place is very clean and the buffet food is always fresh.

This restaurant is kind of okay. There’s nothing special about tthe food. If you order to go, you’ll get a lot of food, but there’s a lot of vegetables so don’t expect to see a lot of meat. This is one of the few eateries in Kirksville so the waiters are not very friendly.

Great Chinese food in a good location. Lo Mein, fried rice, and chicken were all delicious. Some of the food was a bit cold, and the Happy Family was undercooked. Staff was very nice and the bill was cheap, clocking in at $ 20 for three people.

I’ve heard many times that fat is flavor. If that’s true then this place is an exception to the rule because the food is 50% grease with about 25% of the flavor of traditional Chinese food. Also beware, the ice cream bar is less than sanitary. I’ve seen kids lick the scoops and put them back on more than one occasion.

This place is not very good. There are several good review for China Palace on Google, so I was willing to try it, but they must be outdated. The dinner buffet had several dishes. The fried rice was crusty and dry, and the two shrimp dishes were old. They had a little bit of a bad smell and they tasted awful. The texture was off, too. The lo mein was OK, but it was not fresh. Most of the chicken was not fresh, so it had a weird flavor. The egg drop soup was too thick and it lacked any flavor. The spring rolls were fresh and tasted fine. There’s a cooler full of individual ice cream servings for dessert that’s cute, haha. The staff was a little rude, the ambiance was lacking(I don’t really mind, but some people are curious), and the prices for the buffet would be fine if the food wasn’t so bad(about $ 6-$ 7). Overall, very disappointing.
