If I could give no stars on this review, I would. The manager at this store, Pam, is the worst to work with. I had two orders of over $ 150 each. I have to order tall pants so I do most of my ordering online. I was told that if I ordered online I could bring my recipes in and get my 20% of with my hospital ID badge. When I brought my orders in the manager point blank said«no, you can’t do that on online orders». No apology at all. She also told me I could not order from the store online to help me save on shipping. I know you can, so this infuriated me. She told me, all she could do was call other stores to see if they had items in stock. She was rude, unwilling to work with me, and very snotty. Everyone should avoid her if they can. I now drive 30 minutes out of my way to go to a different scrubs and beyond.

Only purchase if you don’t return any items. I did not like that customer is responsible for all shipping and handling charges on returns. I purchased items over the internet and then returned at a local store; I was expecting all S&H charges to be refunded because the Return Policy states«free of charge return service.» Most online retailers will either not charge for the original shipping and handling or only charge one-time if items are returned. I won’t purchase from Scrubs and Beyond ever again.

Scrubs & Beyond and Life Uniforms have recently joined together. I went to this Scrubs & Beyond location in Kirkwood and was very unimpressed by the customer service. They were having a buy one get one 40% off on Grey’s Anatomy brand scrubs and if you’re a healthcare professional, you know scrubs can get pretty pricey. This is a small building but offers a lot of selection. Because of the special, there were signs ALLOVER and it’s not hard to miss. I walked through the door with no greeting whatsoever as there were 2 sales associates on the floor and 2 other at the counter. There wasn’t even that many customers! I walked around for a good 10 minutes and finally someone cracked a smile. Once I picked up what I needed, I checked out, and yet again, no greeting(I even think it was the store manager). Because of the special, there were no additional percent off of my scrubs(you get a discount depending on which hospital you work at) and she rang me up with the full price. I acknowledged it and she pretended she forgot. Yes, it could have been a simple mistake… but it’s hard to miss when this special has been going on for at least a week. Why so pretentious? Anyway. Go to Life Uniforms off of Kennerly. EVERYONE will acknowledge your presence and will bend backwards to help you find what you need! PS. I even think Life Uniform’s scrubs are a couple dollars less than Scrubs & Beyond.

SIX customers in the store. Both saleswomen were too occupied to help anyone. They were discussing their dogs, diseases, and veterinarians, and then the topic of hunting with the delivery man. I made the horrific error of calling a particular shade of blue by the WRONG name. Thankfully, the saleswoman briskly put me in my place, with an eye roll to seal my stupidity. My friend found exactly what she needed, and will be purchasing it from another company.

I just got a job that requires scrubs, so we went here to pick up a pair, we walk in no greeting no can I help you nothing just ignored, when I asked for a room to try things on I was greeted with more attitude had I not needed them the next day and not been really tired I would have taken my business elsewhere. At checkout all the snotty girl with the short black hair did was mention embroidery no thank you have a nice day or kiss my ass she did mumble something as I was leaving but I dont think it was have a food night will take my future scrub needs elsewhere

A bright, clean and for once, not over stuffed scrub shop. Lots of selections and sizes, even talls! The woman helping me today was awesome and I wish I could remember her name. the bummer is that the prices for scrubs is INSANE. Not that any other shop is less expensive, I just laugh when I see how much one set costs!

My review is 2-pronged: I first stopped at the Kirkwood branch to search for my new scrub wardrobe. I’m a new nurse, so I was planning on buying quite a few pairs to get started. However, this staff was so unfriendly, and made me feel so uncomfortable that I bought only one pair — as it was a necessity for my first day of work. I left feeling defeated, judged and succumbed to the idea that I would be buying my new wardrobe online, where I would not need to interact with this staff again. Fully knowing I would not return to this store again. Scrubs and Beyond redeemed itself in my eyes when I discovered the branch inside of Barnes Jewish hospital. The staff here went out of their way to be helpful, kind and knowledgeable. I felt relieved that I did not actually need to do all of my orders online, and could in fact interact with staff and ask questions. I wish I could rate this store higher, but first impressions are important, and I can’t shake the feel of the Kirkwood store. My recommendation is to visit the BJH branch when shopping for scrubs… plus the in house discount if you’re a BJH nurse(not offered in Kirkwood) doesn’t hurt either!

If you’re a man and looking for scrubs, don’t bother with Scrubs and Beyond. When I went, I saw 6 or 7 racks of women’s scrubs neatly arranged by brand, color, and size. There was only one rack of men’s scrubs, all sizes and colors were mixed together, and the rack was a mess. The friendly, welcoming staff earns the store an extra star, but I have a message for Scrubs and Beyond: Men work in hospitals, too.

It seems weird that there’s enough of a market to make an entire store that sells only scrubs(and some medical supplies) successful, but then I think about how many nurses there are… and how many of the girls I went to high school with who wore scrubs religiously on dress down days, and the amount of people that want to dress up as doctors for Halloween… and I realize, ok, there is a market for this… shockingly enough. So…with that established, if you need(or just want) scrubs, I’d say this is certainly the place to go. They have everything from your standard blue scrubs to the ones with crazy patterns and teddy bears all over them. They have them in all sizes too, so no worries about that. Also, if you are just looking for basic, run of the mill medical supplies, this place has everything you could want. Just imagine what a sick Halloween costume you could make if you really wanted to do up the doctor bit right in this place.
