My fiancé and I just purchased our first home here in St. Louis. With the help of your store, we were able to get two beautiful sofa and chair sets for our home. We could not be more grateful to your team for helping us feel comfortable in the quality of the pieces we chose. The whole experience was white glove service — could not be happier! Thank you, Stash!

Great products and over the top service. Lisa the service manager knew I was in a jam and even delivered my furniture herself personally to make sure I had it in time for a event.

I could live here! I saw many things I liked in this store. I had just eaten lunch prior to my visit, and I kept wanting to crawl into one of the cozy-looking beds to take a nap. Stash opened toward the end of January 2015 in the old Phillips Furniture building. I had never been to Phillips, and I was really surprised by the large showrooms. I don’t know if Stash added on to the building, but this place is HUGE. My experience was similar to that of Cherie O. I came here with my mom, and we had made our way through nearly half the store before anyone greeted us. Like Cherie, I was cool with that. However, the saleslady that ultimately greeted us was very pleasant and helpful. She gave us a little background information about the store: –Stash began in Memphis and currently has four locations. –The St. Louis store is their largest. –The other three locations are more like boutiques. –If you see something you like in the store, do not hesitate to ask if it comes in a different size, color, or print. She also explained how the style categories were organized in the store. They definitely had a variety of styles, but much like Cherie, I had trouble figuring out which section was which. You probably won’t find too many simple, traditional pieces here. By this, I mean that nearly everything has a look. For example, I saw several items with a distressed wood finish. It’s not your grandma’s furniture, unless your grandma is into that kind of thing. :) The store had some interesting accent pieces. One table was covered with bottle caps. Another had legs that looked like tusks. One small table had a crank on its leg, which gave it a steampunk look. They also had a couple of lines of customizable chairs that I believe included a recliner or two. You pick the chair you like, and then you pick the fabric. Stash has a «high style, low price» philosophy. I do not know enough about the furniture industry to tell you just how low the prices are – or aren’t. All I can say is some things seemed overpriced while others didn’t. Isn’t that the case everywhere? Head over to their website to get an idea of what you might find in the store. If you like what you see, check ‘em out next time you’re in K-wood.

I was in the Kirkwood area and had been hearing commercials about Stash on the radio so I decided to pop in and have a look. New furniture is on the horizon… so I’d figure I’d see what was out there. Apparently, this used to be the Phillips Furniture store, but is now Stash Home. Stash bills itself as an unique, high style, and value oriented furniture store. They have other locations in Memphis and Mississippi. Apparently, the store is divided into five rooms featuring furniture in distinctly different styles: Traditional, Modern Luxe, Market Square, Bungalow, and Eclectic. Hm. Well, it definitely was sprawling and there were definite rooms, but for the life of me, I can’t figure out which room was which. I only know there are five styles because I was reading up on Stash in the St. Louis Magazine. Honestly, they all looked pretty much the same to me, except for Market Square. Market Square is pretty easy to pick out because there were signs and it looked pretty disorganized down there still. Should have named it Bazaar Market. So the furniture is pretty trendy and modern without being too showy or ostentatious. There are some unique pieces such as a highback sofa or a desk made out of two pretend kegs, but as a whole, they all have pretty much the same design with the difference between the fabrics or composition of a piece(ie…canvas sofa vs a more velvety one… keeping the upholsters in business, I tell you.). Prices are definitely not«value oriented». I’ve been looking for floor cushions, and they had East Indian style poufs… for $ 199! Uh, yeah, I can sew that for cheaper. A writing desk I admired was $ 1999. Similar prices on the sofas. Was in there for about 15 – 20 minutes walking around. Plenty of staff members. Not one greeting(which is fine because I dislike pushy salespeople and was in a perusing mood… but it really felt like a tomb in there).
