I moved here from California and I have been searching for someone who KNOWS what they are doing when it comes to Brazilian waxing. Janet is amazing!!! Already booked my next appointment!!! Thanks Unilocal for the help finding a new gal!

Nothing scares me more than the words «Soft Wax» when walking in for a Brazilian. I once had a really bad waxing with soft wax which could be due to the tech or to the wax itself. I’m not sure but ever since then I’ve steered clear despite most tech’s insistence that I use soft wax. I’ve even walked out of an appointment before because I’m so terrified of it. I was relieved to find out that Janet is different. She listened to me and trusted that I know my body well. She tailored my waxing to my skin and hair type and I am very pleased with the results. She was fast and professional. Emphasis on the fast! Although she’s in high demand and was completely booked until the after the New Year, she was able to squeeze me in! And her prices are amazing!

Yes, FIVE stars– she deserves it! Don’t be one of those people who say, «I don’t give perfect scores because no one is perfect.» Ugh. Ok, end rant.
Five stars:
Service– Extremely nice and genuinely nice are two different things. Janet is genuinely nice.
Flexibility– she even works on Sundays and have never had an issue when I need to reschedule despite her bring in high demand
Quality– she’s very knowledgeable and does not rush.
Pricing– you will not find someone like her at this price point.

My first Brazilian Wax and I’m still alive!!! I did some initial research and decided to support a Small Business Owner. Janet was exceptional! Very personable. I felt like I was reconnecting with an old friend. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

So… this was my first experience with getting a Brazilian bikini wax. Janet did an excellent job! I waited purposely to give my review. I wanted to wait a couple of days afterwards to see if i would breakout or bump up. Well i didnt. Her new spot is clean… she changed application sticks after each application. Though the process did hurt it was not unbearable. Her pricing is very reasonable ($ 35). The only con was that you must be at your appointment on time. There is no grace period built in between appointments. I was 5 min late (sorry janet). Because she is booked up/​back to back (this is a good thing/​that means shes good at what she does) arrive about 10 min earlier, that way you not holding up her other appointments or risk being rescheduled. If you are looking to get brazllian or any other waxing try Waxing by Janet!

Janet is the best!!! She is very thorough, made me feel very comfortable. Best of all she is so genuine and sweet. I can honestly say the wax was outstanding and the customer service was amazing!!!

I had done my research and looked around and this place had the best reviews so I booked an appointment. Janet fit me in despite my distance and busy schedule. She is very good at what she does and very professional and friendly! She will talk you through your first time. The results are amazing! I live in the country so I drive an hour and 10 to get to her but it’s worth it! I can’t wait til my next appointment thanks Janet!

I’ve been going to Janet for about a year now and I have no clue why it has taken me so long to write this review. From the moment I stepped foot in her room, Janet made me feel so comfortable. She immediately felt like a friend I’d known for years! Today I branched out and scheduled a facial with Janet for the first time. As with the waxing she’s done, I was not let down. She did extractions and really cleaned out my pores (unlike other facials I’ve had where I feel like I’ve just had a ton of product slapped on my face). The icing on the cake – her prices are amazing compared to competitors!

I never do reviews, but for this I couldn’t help but write one. She’s amazing!!! Honestly, the best. She made me feel so comfortable and not awkward at all lol going back to her again

Got my eyebrows done here and Janet is amazing! She offers a variety of services and is a true professional who is passionate about waxing! The online reservation system is convenient and something I found to be very useful when I’m thinking about booking my next appointments.

To say Janet is amazing is an understatement. She’s super talented, professional, thorough, and efficient.
I’ve seen all different types of waxing professionals: The over priced. The place that asks if you want champagne (like what?). The painfully slow. The ones that rip a layer of skin off and leave you red and bumpy. So when I find a good one I like to think I know what I’m talking about.
I prefer to frequent places that specialize in waxing rather than places where they are better at facials and massages and waxing was just an after thought to meet customer demand and add revenue. So when I moved to STL and researched the best places to get waxed I saw all the other stellar reviews about Janet and decided to try her out.
I’ve now seen Janet 3 or 4 times for full Brazilian waxes and I have zero complaints.
Bottom line: her process is clean and sterile, great pricing, she knows what she’s doing, and she gives great skincare advice too.

I was really impressed after my waxing session with Janet. She took the time to explain to me what she was doing (I had a bad first experience with another salon) and specially picked wax for my hair type (I have very coarse hair). Her prices are VERY reasonable and the quality of her services was excellent. I am definitely going to be a repeat customer and would recommend going to her.

After reading all of the reviews I decided to give Janet a try and I’m SO glad I did. This was my first time ever getting waxed and I decided to go hard core and get the Brazilian. Of course I was extremely nervous but Janet made the experience very pleasant and comfortable. I never would’ve thought that I would be laughing and having good conversation as the hair was getting ripped from my hoo ha. Janet is amazing and very talented at her craft. Not to mention, she is also good at other services (skin, brows, massage therapist, etc) I plan to come back and try. Everyone should try her because not only is she skilled but she genuinely cares about her clients. She takes the time to customize waxes that will work for your skin type. She is definitely worth more than she charges.

Janet is absolutely wonderful. I’d never had my eyebrows done before and needed to get them in shape for my daughter’s bridal shower. Janet was great.. completely reshaped everything and did it in record time.. And when I left I looked 5 years younger :-). I’m a fan! Scheduling is easy and she works with you to coordinate times.

Ive never left a five star review, mostly because I’ve never felt so strongly about leaving a business positive feedback until I met Janet. I got a bikini wax for my wedding today and she did such an outstanding job. She was pleasant, professional and competent. If you’re not sure where to go, look no further. Janet is amazing!!!

If i could give ten stars, I would. Cursed by my father with an incredibly hairy body, I’ve spent a good ¹⁄₅ of my life shaving. I’ve always wanted to try waxing, but have been afraid of embarrassment, as well as pain.
Finally, I got the nerve to go get waxed, everywhere. Due to the great reviews of Janet, I called her. Made the appointment, easy, no embarrassment, went to her clean studio, and got waxed. I’m not going to lie, there was some paint, but far far far, and then far, less than I expected. Additionally, no self conciousness involved, she is funny, nice, real, and makes a scary, potentially painful process, easy and very tolerable.
I would not hesitate to give an honest review, amd I can truly say, Janet really cares about what she does, and takes the time for perfection. I cannot recommend her enough.

I hate to be the first to give Janet a bad review, but my experience was definitely not five star. I had immediate reservations when she began by «cleansing» my skin with rubbing alcohol. I certainly understand the need to clean the brow area prior to waxing, but I would think such a harsh «cleanser» shouldn’t be used on the delicate eye area. She then proceeded to apply wax without asking me anything about my skin type or how I like my brows to be shaped. Luckily I was able to tell her not to wax my upper brow before she applied wax.
The worst is that I am in pain. In over 10 years of getting my brows waxed I have never had red patches, which is what I woke up to the day after. Not to mention the whole experience was rushed and her touch overall was somewhat aggressive.

First I want to start by saying thank you to all for the positive reviews for Janet. That really made a difference on choosing her. I’m currently visiting St. Louis from Los Angeles, CA and I needed some serious help with my eyebrows. After reading all the positive reviews here I decided to give her a try. So this evening I did and she has been the best aesthetician that has ever worked on these crazy eyebrows. I’ve tried different places in Los Angeles and Janet has been the best. Who would know I would find her here. Definitely recommend her, she will make you feel comfortable and make this process painless. Thank you so much Janet!!!
