Kirtland Flight Center

I’ve been a member of the Kirtland Flight Center (aka Kirtland Aero Club) for a couple of years now. This is a group of dedicated, serious aviators that love to fly and to pass on their enthusiasm to others. The club is open to all people, pilots and non-​pilots alike, who have access to Kirtland and are interested in aviation. They have a variety of well-​maintained aircraft available for rent, as well as great classes for beginners and licensed pilots alike.
The only drawback is that, in order to fly, you have to comply with both FAA and Air Force regulations. This means that you will have a few more things you have to do in order to remain current and fly. But, it’s not bad and adds to the safety of the program, so not bad.
They have a club meeting on the first Wednesday of every month. Come by and meet everyone! You won’t be disappointed.
