Very good. The service was great., and the food was too. Check this place out. Try something new.

Stopped here with my 2 nephews on early release day from school, Wednesday. They wanted something to eat. The boys had the traditional world famous hot dog and they loved them. I ordered the Godfather beef sandwich. It was BIG! The boys helped me finish it. We all loved the French fries. They were fresh and not greasy. The place is cozy inside and we like the TV’s on the walls. You can watch something while eating and they offered to change the channel but boys happy watching basketball game. We will be back. Just a suggestion for staff to add a sign our front that additional parking is available in the rear of the building. I found that out afterwards.

Excellent food! Friendly atmosphere highly recommend the Italian Beef. Chicago dogs are great too. I thought their prices were very reasonable.

there is something seriously wrong with these people.
went for lunch at 12:30, supposed to be open at 11 but they were just getting there and said it would still be 15 min. until they were ready. wouldn’t be SO bad, but this is the SECOND time it happened to me. Hard to imagine I was there for the only two times they were late.
Have eaten there a few times, but no more. I travel 25 min. out of my way to get there, and they can’t even open on time.
True mark of a business destined to fail.

A must stop spot. The cook/​owner is very friendly along with the staff. The food speaks for its self. Can’t wait till they get their pizza oven so I can try an Chicago pizza!

Great gem in Kissimmee. Nailed it with the food I got a polish sausage and my boyfriend got a Italian beef sandwich. We just came back from Chicago and had jimmys and portillos there and this is just as good! We will definitely be back. The décor is all Chicago. Can’t wait to watch a Bears game there.

I don’t know what some people’s problems are, but I’ve been here about 4 times since it opened. I haven’t had a bad meal yet. The lb. of hand cut fries are the best. Italian Beef is great and the pepper sauce was good and spicy. I recommend this to anyone who wants a good Chicago Dog, Italian Beef, Wings, or HB. I’ve had them all.

Wish I could give it no stars. Way over priced for the size of my sandwich I got. The fries were soggy and the place smelled like a port-​a-​potty. But that probably had something to do with the plumbing van outside. We got there and the table was sticky, that mixed with a shit smell was enough to send my friend packing. He ended up walking across the street to Crystals for burgers. I decided to toughen it out and got the Italian beef with sausage. Got the combo and received my check with a 15% tip added for take out. Serious? You’re gonna add tip for take out? Anyways this place was horrible and I don’t see it staying open much longer.

. My fiancé is from Chicago so this would have been a nice treat. We went for lunch today. A Monday, at 1pm, when they CLAIM to be open. Keep in mind we drove 30 mins to get here. THEY WERE CLOSED. Not even a sign saying they were closed. The doors were just locked. According to Unilocal they were open. We leave tomorrow and now we are out of luck. Money wasted on this gift card and a total of an hour drive. CALL BEFORE YOU MAKE ANY EFFORT TO GO HERE. Not impressed.

We moved to Florida 3 years ago and we REALLY missed chicago beef sandwiches. We’ve tried other places and they all struck out. Taste of Chicago has AWESOME beef sandwiches. Great food and great service. We will be regular customers. Thanks Marco and family.

I wish that I could give it a zero. Food sucked you will see in the picture. and the waitress was just stupid and rude. Manager ended up giving up 50% off. The food took 35 minutes to come out. From my understanding there was only 1 cook in the back. My brother had come before and it was good that is why we went back. I guess people in the day are better than the night. It is truly the worse food that I have had. My burger was suppose to be medium well and came out well. The fries we black and tasted like shit! Hood luck to those that want to try it

After reading reviews, we decided to stop in for lunch today. Not at all what we expected. NO where near the typical Chicago style ‘joint’ we hoped for. It’s more ‘dive bar’-ish. Waitress was quick to greet us, our order was taken at the table. (do you really need a server to take a hot dog order?) No A/​C on, doors open to allow breeze-​eh. You can tell they tried with the décor, multiple TVs which might be nice for Bears games in the fall (not sure if they will offer that??) and Chitown sports stuff on the walls. Posters of Rose and Ditka does not a food joint make. We ordered the Italian Beef combo and hot dog combo. The TASTE of the beef was spot on. Peppers and all… but the fries we horrible, all grease, no flavor. Old looking and tasting. Hot dog no1 came on soft/​steamed poppy seed bun you would expect and it was on par. The fries with the hot dog looked better, but again, tasteless and extra greasy. The 2^nd hot dog was flavorless and the bun was hard. Presentation was lack luster. They do offer beer and wine here. It’s like they can’t decide if they want to be a bar or a hot dog place. I know that it didn’t feel like ‘home’ and I’m a born and raised Northsider. The atmosphere wasn’t anything like Fluky’s, Portillo’s or Jean ‘n Judes. You don’t get the waft of Vienna goodness when you walk in. When the other half asked for extra mustard, they brough out two packets… like would find when getting a gas station hot dog. Just lacking. Its $ 10 bucks for the beef combo, I gotta tell ya, not worth it. The fries were so bad I am still feeling ‘ick’. There’s another place in downtown KIssimmee (see my reviews) that does it right, friendly, flavorful and now I can say my favorite. But hey, I had to give this place a try.

So I stopped there yesterday (5÷28÷2015) at 11:30 and the doors were locked although the sign clearly states they open at 11:00 am on weekdays. Well perhaps they aren’t opened for business yet were my thoughts and I left. After I got home I looked this up and the reviews were good and recent. So today once again I went up to the place of business this time arriving at 12:20 and STILL the doors were locked. This time I called and asked what time they open and the girl said 11:30. I told her it was almost 12:30 and she said they had a callout and would open in another 30 to 45 minutes. Well as I spoke to her two other cars pulled in and tried the doors and left. I mentioned this to the person I spoke with as I stood outside the doors and she was like oh well. IF i can ever catch them open I might be able to review the food but at this time the inconsistencies of their hours is a big minus in my eyes. Too many places to spend my money on — both days I wound up somewhere else. Oh well

This place is official I have been down in the Orlando area for about 5 years now from Chicago. I’ve been looking for different places around the area that could satisfy my craving until I get back home (Chicago). I must say I was very disappointed at every spot I went to until I found this place. (Taste Of Chicago) in Kissimmee Florida. The products was authentic and also the way they served it to go is official. I will def be a faithful customer as long as they continue to keep it original. I would def recommend this place. Don’t waste your time with other frauds saying their Chicago style. This place is it!!!

Taste of Chicago won my heart. My husband Alex and I ate here today. Its open until 2am mon thru fri and 3am on fri and sat! How awesome is that? The service is great. The owner is very friendly and promotes a good and clean atmosphere. It is quite inviting, i feel like i am home. Now to the food. I had the chicago dog which tasted great as well as their thick, fresh cut fries. Yum. We also ordered their pizza puff which was definitely on point. We will be back very soon to try a burger and dessert.
Also it is important to us for the fountain drinks to be crisp and have good carbonation and they’ve got it. Trust me not all soda fountains are created equal.
PS: dont come wearing Cleveland Cavaliers gear right after the Chicago bulls lost a game to them. You may have to wait longer on that food! Just kidding :)

Food is amazing and AUTHENTIC. If you’re looking for a place to hang out and a brew this is your place.

The staff was friendly but service was slow meaning took long to get. My order was not complete had to go back. It will be the last time!!! Food was way over priced for the portion $ 10.99 for a 6″ sandwich! Hot dogs my favorite but still can’t find it in the sauce! Tiniest hot dog I have ever seen and cold inside!!! Yuck! Fries were the only good item on menu. Don’t waste your time and definitely your hard earned money.

First time. More reviews to come. Good start to Chicago food — imported ingredients, fries cooked in similar ways, good Chicago dogs & Italian beef. Will be back to try out again and give a more detailed review.
