AMF Kissimmee Lanes

Not a great area, but cheap and fun as long as you get a lane that works. The food is decent bar food and there’s a bar for drinks. The balls are in bad condition and I’d bring hand sanitizer.

Came to the pro shop at the designated open time, 3:30 — 3:45 on a Wednesday. Asked if they knew when the shop would be open. Was informed «whenever he gets here, maybe after 4.» Was told «comes in when he feels like it.» Nice way to run a business.

It’s not the best lanes out there. It looks like they are trying to fix it up but some things definitely need an overhaul. The roads and driveways leading in are horrible. Plan on trying to avoid countless potholes. Inside the lanes are good but have pin placing problems regularly on the left end ones. Restrooms are in need of help. Food service is decent. The regulars that smoke do so outside but love to leave the door open, so also plan on sucking in smoke if you are sitting even 50 — 100 feet from the door.
(**update: nothing has changed in 5 months with the smoking issue. Regulars continue to go outside but leave the doors open and stand next to them so the smoke pours inside. If you’re on lanes 1 – 16 on a Monday night, plan on dealing with it several times.**)
It’s got potential, but again management needs to keep up or the newer lanes in Orlando will eat them alive.

Don’t know why this play is listed. It is closed down, boarded up with a for sale sign in front. Unilocal needs to remove this as I drove 30 minutes for nothing.

Good cheap locals spot to bowl at. The food and drinks were cost effective and delicious. My only criticism is that they don’t have tables near the lanes so you had to keep your food and drinks on a counter behind you. Our lane was behind the main counter so we had no place to put our food and had to leave it a few lanes over and walk over to take a sip or bite which was annoying.

Most bowling spots I’ve been to seemed to have been somewhat run down with a smell that seemed it was if the carpet was not changed in 20 years. This place seemed modern, and the atmosphere was very positive. The service food and beverage service was great. I wish most restaurants had their type of service. Usually the wood floors at bowling alleys seem worn and old. AMF’s floors were strong, sturdy, and seemed to have been kept very well. I WILL RETURN!

Not gonna lie — as we pulled up to this spot it looked super sketchy. Glad that the luxury spot in downtown Disney (spilttsville) was closed for a party (big fail!).

This is a bowling alley located on 192 (Vine St) on the south side behind Baymont Inn and Suites. There is a sign on 192 but it is easy to miss. The Baymont is actually behind two or three closed restaurants and AMF is behind that.
It is a fun place with a great staff that is always pretty full. It never hurts to call ahead and reserve a lane. They have 20 plus lanes with good upbeat music and videos playing. They sometimes even have a DJ for special events. The bar has great bartenders and waitstaff with great priced drinks. They have Karaōke on select nights which can always be a good time.
The food is strictly bar style but it is actually pretty good. They have a lot of appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, pizza, and wraps and the prices are good. Service in the bar and the lounge is always great and friendly. The bathrooms are always clean. They always have great specials on bowling or bowling and food combos.
Bottom line: It is a fun cheap time to do something a little different off the beaten path. Variety is the spice of life!

Am I a bowler. Hell No! But you do not have to be to enjoy a great time with a few of your friends or family at AMF. I have been here several times, both during the day and the evening, and have to say it is a good time!
The facility is a little old, but well maintained, and the staff is super friendly and outgoing. They have a great deal for shoe rental and 2 games. Also the bowling alley food is actually quite good and relatively inexpensive. You will definitely save some $$ going with a combo.
Please note that this location is tucked away behind a hotel on 192. If you find it, you will have fun!

Every Sunday, Kissimmee lanes does unlimited bowling for $ 8.00 starting at 11pm-1:30am.
My roommate goes every Sunday night and this past sunday I decided to tag a long. A friend of ours makes sure to reserve a lane, just in case it’s busy… GOOD IDEA! In our case, it was about ½ full in the bowling alley. Apparently they need at least 30 people to be there for «unlimited bowling» or they will close at normal hours at 11pm.
Staff there is awesome. Travis is one of the bar tenders, boyfriend of my friend. He doesn’t give us any discounts on drinks but gives great service while talking with the customers as they order their pitchers of beer for their lanes. The couple of people behind the counter make sure that there is fun bowling music playing throughout the night. You can always make a request if there’s something you’d like to hear… and watch the videos on the screens of lanes with no bowlers. Everyone smiles and encourages people to have fun.
I think I had either a «not strong enough» throw or something cause whenever it was my turn to bowl, the lane wouldn’t always register my score right. It gave me a couple of freebie spares and because it didn’t reset, another chance to knock down pins. Now granted, I bowl with a 7 or 8 lb ball cause I’m a weakling but it was great and helped my score. ;) lol.
This is a fun place to hang out and there are always promotions going on. I think currently during the day on sundays it’s 13.99 for all you can bowl and pizza by the slice. Makes a great place for families or groups to come hang out on a Sunday. But try to reserve a lane if you have a large party, just to be safe.
